Restore to stock however no wifi or cell

I purchased a note 3. The previous owner modified the phone (rooted) and screwed up the whole thing there was not wifi or cellular. Checked the firmware and it said custom. I figured I could reset the phone to stock and use it normally. I located the firmware from sam mobile and flashed through Odin. The flash went of no errors ( so I believe I picked the right firmware however still no wifi and I get the not registered on network when I put in my SIM card? Shouldn't the appropriate kernels and modem be installed with the stock firmware? Checked the imei number is appears ok however the software shows a different number than the sticker on the back of the phone. At this point I am out of ideas. Has any one ever experienced this?
I have the Canadian note 3 SM-N900W8 model and flashed the following

Most likely, there are 2 options here:
a) while flashing, you messed with the EFS partition => your IMEI number is demo one (plenty of zeroes, ending with 49).
b) the phone, you have bought, was stolen and claimed. Then, the operator blocked the original IMEI, so it was forced
well, option a - got o service centre or try to restore IMEI.
option b) buy not stolen, legitimate device from legitimate seller, not from a thief.

Note 3 sm-n9005 lost original baseband, imei, serial number etc

Hi
In my note 3 n9005 base band , imei, serial numbers are changed to some other values like original but sim coudnt not register with network... as far i am surfing this sam mobile forum i understood to flash with the original base band firmware... at last here i need the help from u guys .. please guide me to select the stock firmware ...ur help will be respected..
Here are the details..
Product Code NOT ACTIVE
Original CSC code EMPTY BOX
Active CSC code XTC
PDA version N9005DXUGBOF1
CSC version N90050LBGBOF1
Baseband version N9005DXUGBOA3
Android version 5.0
Mobile operator 405852.
thank u in advance
Flash with odin the firmware that your phone came with.
The stock Samsung firmware can be found here: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-N9005/
March the last 4 characters of the csc and pda to the firmware. Download it, unzip it to get a tar.md5 file, flash the tar.md5 file in the PDA/AP box of Odin. I prefer Odin 3.07 for flashing back to stock.
Tried all those but no luck...
I coudnt register with the network after searching and selecting the network...
It says unable to connect try later... veryfew times it registered with very few sim cards yet no dialling tone etc.. finally comes again to the registration problem state.... any helps?
Wrong IMEI and wrong serial is that correct .
Have you restored your original backed up EFS folder ??

No service, emergency calls only after upgrading to android 6.0.1 by OTA

Hi! I have an A5 (SM-A500FU) bought in Italy last year, Im using it since then in Argentina. With android lollipop I have never had issues with lost signal, no service messages or network not available. But since upgrading by OTA to Marshmallow these problems started. I have looked everywhere but I cant find anything that helps me. Also my service problems are not always present, sometimes I do have signal, but mostly when im out in the street. At home, for example I have no service and "only emergency calls" message. I'm using right now and old Moto XT316 with the same SIM card ( Claro AR) im using in the A5, and it is working fine, recieving network signal ( it is also a new sim card, just in case old SIM was the problem). The thing is I can´t use my A5 because it is constantly losing signal.
Thing I have already tried and didn't work:
- Changing to aireplan mode for a few minutes
-take out SIM card, restart the phone, turn off phone, put sim back in again, turn on phone
-verifiyng the APN for my network Claro Ar was correct, manually searching networks ( At home for example, it only finds Personal and Movistar (sometimes) but never finds Claro ar)
-Doing factory reset
-Reinstalling official firmware (PDA version : A500FUXXS1CPH2; CSC version : A500FUVFR1CPG2) with kies3 ( smart switch gave me an error)
-Flashing the UK BTU ROM ( the old one was from Vodafone Italy, now Phone info app says my mobile operator is 72234, while befor was 722310 which is correspondig with claro ar, what does this mean)
what could be causing this problem???? Im really starting to desperate now...
I read something interesting online, searching for some answers I got to the experience of some guy who had a very similar problem. Short story, his had to change his phone's network configuration in the "radioinfo" menu (or whatever the name of that hidden menu is) with an app named Network and force his cellphone to use only 3g or 2g. Turns out that his phone was trying to use LTE but LTE was not available in his region. This solved his problem. Mi phone can't use LTE here in Argentina because it is Italian, and since I have it it never conected to LTE network (I guess we use different frequencies) So I was thinking maybe my phone is also trying to use LTE but since it won't reach 4g signal ends up with no signal at all, excatly like this guy's phone.
But, apparently I need root access to get to this menu or even use this apps, is that correct?
So, should I root my phone to try that? does that story make any sense to you? Any advice?
Downgrade to lollipop I read is not my best option, also rooting it isn´t , but I'm starting to run out of solutions.
I add this information that could be helpfull:
Product Code : SM-A500FZKUBTU
Original CSC code : BTU
Active CSC code : BTU
PDA version : A500FUXXU1CPH3
CSC version : A500FUBTU1CPH1
Baseband version :A500FUXXU1CPH3
Android version : 6.0.1
Build number: MMB29.A500FUXXU1CPH3
Mobile operator :72234
Also IMEI number seems to be fine, it starts with 35 and matches the one in the back of the phone.
Sorry It is such a long thread!! Thank you very much!!

C'ant register on network operator

i recently got a note 4 N910H 6.0.1 for repair, the problem is that the phone connect and register on network only for some seconds and then it looses the connection and stay on this loop, what i have tried so far :
-Different ROM
-downgraided to 5.1.1, back to 6.0.1...
-Different Kernels
-Changed network mode :
* LTE/WCDMA/GSM(auto connect) : still on the loop (Connect, Disconnect)
* WCDMA/GSM (auto connect) : still on the loop
*WCDMA only : no loop and no network either
*GSM : no loop and no network either
-Mannualy selected a network : I can find all availble networks but i got error when trying to register on ...
-What i figured out : IMEI is not the same behind the battery and when i type *#06#
My customer said that the phone was working before and everything allright and that the phone was used when he buyed it
My guess is that the phone is blacklisted, but i want to be sure before givig feedbacks to customer , so anyone have an idea ?

I think this is not software issue.
Maybe radio antennas or sim slot is damaged.
I also bought a sprint note 4 n910p before and it was running n910f software and when i flash sprint official firmware my imei was changed. 1st when i bought imei was n910c but afrer i flash sprint imei was sprint galaxy S5..
Point is that my sim and signal was working fine even when imei was changed.
Go to note 4 exynos thread and flash n910c rom for n910h and see if it works.
