My 4.2.2 Kernel/Rom Benchmark thread - Galaxy S I9000 General

Sup guys, going to be making a comparison between different kernels running on different roms. I know that some of you are going to go on about how benchmarks don't mean anything, if that's you then simply disregard this post.
All roms will be tested with nothing except Gapps (not signed in), Titanium Backup and AnTuTu installed, TB and everything else will be closed before the benchmark.
3 benchmarks will be done, and I will post the average total score.
PAC-ROM
First of is PAC-rom (v20.0.0), by the developer aways who has been making a huge impact on the i9000 rom scene with numerous different roms.

[Q] Fastest rom?

Hi,
Which one is the fastest rom (stock or custom)?
Thanks...
There are multiple different stock and custom kernel roms. But in general custom is not as stable but is "faster", at this point which one you use is up to you.
I wonder if I misunderstand what you mean by custom, oh well ^_^

By "custom", I mean CM, TripMiUI an etc... I think... hehehe...
wait for a stable custom kernel with 30fps uncapped and 16m collors. It will own all othe Roms
Freex10 beta 4 + data2sd you score up to 2300 on quadrant

to answer the question of the thread, all people using cm6 v5 seem to be happy with its speed, including me. i havent run a quadrant test in months since i realized those numbers dont really matter. what matters is if YOU think the phone is fast, not what some app tells u is fast.

I totally agree on what you have said, hence for stability and usability, I would recommend stock + JIT mod.
However if you want more performance numbers and flash 10.2, then I'll recommend WB's CM6.1.3

Best rom for battery life and speed?

I started out with cm7 but the battery life was so-so. I tried a few other roms and kernel variations but nothing really stood out. My last rom was oxygen 2.1.4 using the netarchy kernel, but I was only getting about 1200ish in quadrant and oxygen seemed a little unstable.
I went back to using the new cm7 RC and the trinity UV kernel and the battery seems OK and i am getting around 2700 in quadrant.
Are there any other rom/kernel combinations that i should give a shot?

Don't base the ROMs speed on Quadrant alone, Oxygen is really fast.
Don't let an outdated benchmark test decieve you.

Correction: Dont let benchmarks deceive you.
Benchmarks regardless of what it is is pointless.
It was more that oxygen seemed unstable on my phone. I might give it another go if the new cm7 battery life sucks.

You might want to check that out. CM7 battery is fine for me. Like I said, Netarchy's 1.3.6 kernel (or 1.3.4) is a NECESSITY. use that and undervolt it using proton voltage control or setcpu and use the suggested volts suggested by proton (-20 across the board)

I think i had over 4000 on the old Quadrant, but could be just variance between runs i guess.

ICS with OC/UV capability?

I have been browsing the Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Android Development section for sometimes, now that we have official ICS, and we have handful of custom Rom/ kernel already in development
Is the ICS capable of OC/UV just as the AbyssNote Kernel.
Thanks
Haw high was a regular OC under ginger breath ?
I have my note a week now so I never tried, but what was possible?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using XDA
We have no functional custom kernels and won't until source code drops.
DAFUQ and WizDom's kernel sort of work, but had even more compatibility problems with XXLPY than they did with leaks. (no wifi, no hwaccel for video, no speakerphone).

i just wanna show the performance of the arcs LT18i, using this kernel and rom. i did what i did because someone, may wanna use this two, could see before using it. simply to help someone to get first idea.
thanks.

purpose of this thread is to see "quadrant Benchmark results on lt18i with specific kernels and roms. not to compare with others.
