ICS with OC/UV capability? - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 General

I have been browsing the Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Android Development section for sometimes, now that we have official ICS, and we have handful of custom Rom/ kernel already in development
Is the ICS capable of OC/UV just as the AbyssNote Kernel.
Thanks

Haw high was a regular OC under ginger breath ?
I have my note a week now so I never tried, but what was possible?

We have no functional custom kernels and won't until source code drops.
DAFUQ and WizDom's kernel sort of work, but had even more compatibility problems with XXLPY than they did with leaks. (no wifi, no hwaccel for video, no speakerphone).

Is there anyway the slots up to 1.41 could be added? I've been meaning to learn about kernels, so if this is a lot of work don't worry. Thanks for your hard work

Thanks a ton Drod. Loved your Sense kernels. CM7 is now my daily, thanks in part to this kernel.
Thanks, it seems like that is the magic number where voltage meet performance before diminishing returns. Ill be on irc later too, great work man.

I have to say... this kernel runs pretty damn good on CM. Its a nice peak into what CM7 does when a lil freq and voltage is applied Thanks again Drod
Fantastic kernal! Thanks a ton!
Just fyi, this kernel is pretty stable. I think it's better than the "stock" cm7 kernel st this point. And it performs tons better than the leankernel pre-release. I just wish this had the custom governors. But for now, I don't have much of an option, this is my kernel of choice.
Drod, well done so quickly!
And while nobody cares, I was able to get over 2700 with this kernel in Quadrant without any cheats. Good to know it's that stable and speedy!

New Quadrant 2.0 Bench: Post your scores

I do know that benchmarks sometimes say something, sometimes not. But I also know that many of you are interested in scores, and because a new major version of the grandmother of benchmarks, quadrant, has just been released...
My score is based on stock LA6 and Abysnote 3.6 (lulzactive, max. 1,6GHz)!
So, have fun comparing...

I think i had over 4000 on the old Quadrant, but could be just variance between runs i guess.
I wonder what the Transformer Prime will get if it now supports quad core benchmarking and ICS It already had a pretty impressive score in ISC compared with 3.0 (waiting for mine to arrive hopefully tomorrow).

Excellent performance on CM9 release

I just loaded CM9 on my Vibrant coming from another 4.0 ICS rom and I must say, I don't ever remember the phone being this tolerable to use. And I had it overclocked to 1400MHz. Anyone else re-enjoying their old flame with CM9?
Yes. I really like cm9 with subzero. Very solid Rom.

What did you use to over clock it to 1.4? Or is it already in the CM9?

My 4.2.2 Kernel/Rom Benchmark thread

Sup guys, going to be making a comparison between different kernels running on different roms. I know that some of you are going to go on about how benchmarks don't mean anything, if that's you then simply disregard this post.
All roms will be tested with nothing except Gapps (not signed in), Titanium Backup and AnTuTu installed, TB and everything else will be closed before the benchmark.
3 benchmarks will be done, and I will post the average total score.

[Q] Best Battery Saving/Performance Kernel

hello im looking to flash a kernel over my current roms kernel but i came from developing on a motorola atrix which had faux123s kernels as the best but i couldnt get the to boot on my s3 and i have no experience with the n4 (got it yesterday)
Personally I'm using franco. It has the best balance for me.

I sometimes wonder if people keep starting these threads simply to troll.
No such thing as best kernel or best ROM. Pick one whose features fit your needs and test it.

i dont have time to extensively test, most kernels i use i notice no diffrence, me personally i keep my processor at 1.026 max with sio and usually interactive as my governor, also some kernels have gpu overclocking and some dont i cant really tell even after sifting through everything, like a good rom i am testing every aosp based rom and i cant find one to really stick out. i am asking opinions i suppose.

can i use the faux control center to mess around with the gpu? if not i may just stick to his but i like franco since it has nightlys
I guess a better question would be should i stick with stable aosp roms and kernels or go with nightlys? if anyone has a suggestion or personal prefrence i would love to hear them, i have pretty muched used xylon and franco nightlys, slimbeans, paranoid android april 26th build and liquid smooth. havent felt the need to try vanillarootbox because from what i remember its cm based anyway
All of the kernels here are great. Try them all and see. Personally I think you should start with Trinity kernel. It has awesome performance.

no one ever gives matr1x credit, but that is definitely my #1.
many people say that franco, trinity or matrix are the best but sometimes the stock kernel as the CM kernel is the best at least for battery.
now if you are gamer etc maybe franco kernel is your best choice!

I agree. I'm using Franco right now. Its able to push through a day of tweeting and whatsapping but stock kernel and cm kernel was amazing. 1% drain after 8 hours of WiFi on standby.
