Hello,
I am requesting that one of our wonderful N7 devs create or modify the order and chaos apk/app to be optimized for our N7 tegra3 devices. Can this be done? I have heard that most gameloft games arent optimized for tegra3? The order and chaos app thats purchased from google play is very laggy and has the terrible chat bug which Ive been told thats related to Android 4.0+.
Can any developer help us gamers out for this app? Can the optimizing be done?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Yeah, it would be nice if the devs would put dates on there updates. Some of the devs have started doing this already but not all.
Also it would be nice if the telus fascinate got its own forum. I've seen more than one person try to put their roms and kernels on a verizon fascinate without knowing there was a difference.

anyway to make it a more friendly place. there are some real jerks posting around here. i mean i understand the frustration that comes from seeing 600 wheres froyo threads or 67 i cant get bln to work on sc 2.7. i have even made a few redu coments myself. but i was also new once too. it would just be nice if the forum could turn the jerky down some. just mho.

Moderating isn't so much about having the device in the forum you are moderating, as it is...well...moderating. I don't own an HTC Rose either, and I have been mod there for around 8 months. I am well versed in the Galaxy S family as 3 of my family members own various ones, including a Fascinate, and I personally run Android on my HD2. No offense taken as it is a valid question.

I am noticing that the releases here don't have dates in their titles, and that is something that needs to be fixed. I am on it like white on rice I tell you! It's going to be the new rule that ALL releases must follow the standard XDA naming scheme that we have adopted, or the threads will be renamed by your's truly.
As far as the Telus Fascinate is concerned, I will look into the matter.

I see that this is a big request...I have been mod for less than 24 hours, and already I have 5 PMs regarding a Q&A forum, and I will take it to the higher ups and see what they think.
+1,000,000 on a Q&A subforum. We need that more than anything else. It'd not only cut back on clutter but keep people from being "rude" or "jerks" (as someone else had said) when responding because there'd be much less chance of questions ending up in the wrong area--which, as we all know,is a hot-button issue.
In addition to this, people who want to help others by answering questions would have to actually seek out that subforum as opposed to just browsing and coming across one of the vast number of question threads in the general section (and since these people are in the Q&A section willingly they should be in a helping mood already).
Just my two-cents.

Although this was already touched on, allow me to elaborate. While we sometimes appoint Forum Mods in their device.home, that is not always possible. In fact, moderators tend to be most effective when outside their comfort zone, as this allows them to be objective.

All right people. In order for a Q&A forum to be added, there has to be more than 10,000 posts in the General forum...so we have a ways to go yet. Rest assured though, I am going to crack down on the questions in the Dev section.
when someone asks a question in the q&a section a simple question asked in general having to do with a rom issue for an x10 why do they close the thread when it is know that both websites are practically brothers i had a question about the x10 madaco site since it was closed i asked on the x10 ada site just in general hopeing someone who uses both sites could help and a mod closed the thread right away why ? im sorry i guess i cant ask general questions having to do with my x10 rom in the x10 Q&A someone up there needs to control the mods they are getting out of hand i wasnt out to destroy the world i was only hoping for some help in the help forum of what i thought was a fair and honest site but now i know i shouldnt ask ?s i should just be a sheep and dontate money to the mods for there wonderful ablity to control what we read and ask on a forum

Considering a veteran-xda-reader, knowing what was actually happened, your thread might be viewed as potential thread due to the fact that it's not only about 2 websites but also nature, relationship, competitiveness, history, background, blah, blah, blah which you just didn't consider about it.
It's not just 5-10 people, with this amount of users, there is no way to make everyone happy.

look at this forum, it has turned into the ghetto of the forum in a matter of a couple months because no one can follow simple rules, devs are constantly in a pissing contest and members just cannot grasp the simplest of concepts.

I posted a request about an undervolted bali kernel here a few days ago - since i havent posted that much i had to do it in the general section. Then someone told me that it would be good that i hadnt posted this in the developer section because if everyone would make direct requests to developers they would be overhelmed with requests.
After all, the thread got deleted. Probably because a request is not considered useful? I don´t know but actually i ask you guys if the kind of administration is considered helpful. At least i encourage you to answer instead of silently delete whole threads. I mean what is this? A xda adminstrator regime? Get straight and respect freedom of speech or deal with it unless its trivial stuff!
Some admins live in countrys that dont have freedom of speech,and therefore dont respect it......no pun intended,and no disrepect to any admins in paticular....

I am running CM10.1 but was looking in the hardware using 'getevent'.
no events are produced on the gesture_sensor event (/dev/input/event7)

Thanks you for your helpful answer. Considering i was attempting to access the sensor to develop a gesture recognizing app, I assumed that a development forum would have been the best place. Obviously I was mistaken. Again thanks for the helpful response.
