Cancelled my order with expansys, placed an order with devicewire and already received my tracking number!!
last check they had 23 left in stock!!

Have just received my tracking number too
I think if you order before 4 you should have it tomorrow (UK)

I don't think so, originally i had my pre order with expansys as well, but canceled it 3 weeks ago and order from devicewire. Am getting mine tomorrow as well. There are still 32 left to buy.

Yep I received my tracking number today too!!!
I had mine on Saturday delivery as I thought it was being dispatched on Fri!!! What a nice surprise to open up my email and find out its turning up tomorrow
By all accounts there supposed to be throwing in a free copy of copilot with pre orders! Well thats what I was told last week when I ordered.

Just checked and stock has gone from 32 to 34. Not sure how that is, but as I missed the 4pm deadline I won't get mine till Thurs which was what I had planned originally. It's gone past pending approval to pending fulfilment.

Just cancelled my order from 'Play' and ordered it from 'DeviceWire', should have it on Thursday woop woop.

Sweet. Had my pre-order in since 10th of November with devicewire.
Received my tracking number today booked the day off work tomorrow to accept delivery.

Just thought we'd pop in and give you a quick update.
All pre-orders have been shipped and orders placed before 4pm today were also shipped.
We do have a handful left at the time of writing this post, but don't expect them to be around long.

The reason for the stock figures increasing was due to our stock being booked in over an hour or so. As orders came in stock went down but as we booked in new stock the figure would have increased.

I can always cancel the order from devicewire if I have a sudden change of heart.

Thrusday still bater then saturday, i paid £.19.99 to get on weekend (although refunded).
Also remember expansys wasn't even going to deliver by weekend.

Huzzah my DW HD2 is here. Off to open box now. Hopefully it is actually a HD2....

Has anybody ordered from mobilephonesdirect? if so have you received a despatched notifiaction, been tracking my order all day and still says 'pending stock'

same here...received email saying that they have it in stock, but not email about dispatching it.

Mine has been dispatched today and mines on tmobile. I pre ordered on 20th october.

I pre-ordered on the 22nd Oct (T-Mo).
My order status changed to 'ready for despatch' this afternoon, and hasn't changed since.

Still pending stock for me and I pre-ordered 20th October too. If its not here on Saturday I will just send it back to them. Special Delivery can arrive on Saturdays depending on the area. We seem to get Saturday special delivery so might be lucky.

Mine's on Tmobile and it's been dispatched today, It's not just Vodafone orders that have gone through today.

Update: well I just got my order confirmation and the tracking number should be sent along shortly. so much for my hopes of a friday delivery

Agreed. I just got my UPS tracking number within the last hour. No scheduled delivery date yet, but I'm fairly certain it will be Monday at the earliest. I'm kinda bummed, but on the plus side, it gives the awesome devs here time to refine their work. I'm hoping by Monday, we'll have a fully functional rooted stock ROM.

EVP bummed me out
Pre-ordered through EVP thought I would get it friday or maybe earlier. Turns out that wasn't the case I called a few time to see if my order had been placed they gave me the run around saying it had. I kept checking CC to see if a charge a been placed by sprint long story short, they hadn't placed my order to ship by 11:00am so I cancelled it, but before i did that i went to my local sprint store, did anyone elses store have food and drink for the customers? Anyway the nice lady at the sprint store used my info that was in the system from EVP order to set me up soooo I GOT A EVO ON LAUNCH DAY!!!! vs waiting til monday or later

Got my order # DM14-O-21047580 but it doesn't list a tracking #. She (Mandy) said it would ship today. Should I worry, or just expect it on Monday?

ASDA Pre-order

Hey guys has anyone had any details about ASDA dispatching the xperia z preorders?
I'm pretty sure that when i selected the free delivery option, that it mentioned something about it being a guaranteed delivery date of 28th Feb. Does anyone else remember anything similar?
I ordered on the 14th of Feb.

Mine is sitting on 'Back Order' haven't heard anything from ASDA.

Mine says this on the tracking system:
Awaiting Stock - We're waiting for stock of all these items to become available. As soon as these items leave our warehouse and are their way to you we'll send you an email to let you know.
But even if they get stock tomorrow i doubt they can get it to me the same day

It's wishful thinking, but hopefully they're just crap at keeping the website updated. Mine reads the same as others.
Going to be mighty annoyed if I don't get it tomorrow. I never go to Asda for anything - supermarket or online - they're not doing a great job of turning me around...

I've rang them 3 times today and been told something different every time! The one said it was out of stock when I ordered, another one said tomorrow and then the third one said a couple of weeks
I think there's literally 0% of it coming tomorrow

I spoke to them about 6pm and was told "your order isn't showing as back ordered on my screen. You see the phone isn't released untill tomorrow, so it can't be dispatched before then. If it doesn't say dispatched by this time tomorrow, call us back"
This was after I'd already explained the guaranteed 28th Delivery. Not holding my breath for getting it on release day. Even though the accessory pack was a big bonus, I picked Asda because no other site had commited to a delivery date at that point. Seems like another examine of Asda over promising and under delivering.

What was the guarantee? If they fail to deliver on the guaranteed date then what is their penalty?

I saw some sites got their deliveries late and had to dispatch on the 28th, i wonder if maybe this was the same for asda.

Mine still says on backorder. Just went through the process of ordering again to see if there were any delivery options this time and there were options to leave with neighbours etc. This wasn't an option when pre ordered. I am not sure if it means anything though.
I have seen on game forums that asda have form for this sort of thing too. Gonna see if I can find more info.

Where does it say that Sony are offering free headphones?
Update: just got off the phone with asda, while my order still says on back order, they're are saying that they have the phone in stock (as reflected on the site) and awaiting dispatch. Though I'm not certain I completely trust that!

The asda website looks like they've done a hasty removal job of anything to do with the preorder, so much that they still have photos of the preorder accessories, with absolutely no mention of coming with any.
I wouldn't imagine anyone would have felt the need to take proof of them promising delivery today, but it was plastered all over the site. It was even in the hidden T&Cs regarding the accessory pack saying you wouldn't actually get the dock and case today, something along the lines of "on 28th February you will receive the Bluetooth speaker, and a voucher for the case and dock redeemable from Sony stores"
The phone is being advertised as "in stock" for new orders, so I've got my fingers crossed that they are just being really poor at updating people's accounts.

I just remember it being mentioned when in the checkout process, i have searched online and others have mentioned the guaranteed delivery date for game pre-orders form asda direct in the past.

I've decided to cancel my preorder with asda and get them directly from sony with the free headphones (which more then makes up for the extra £29). Though I'll probably sell the headphones.
Though even the order cancellation is a hassle, apparently it has to be passed to a "technical team" and will take 24 to 48 hours for an email to come through stating the order has been cancelled.... I don't think I'll ever use asda again!

Can't believe the way ASDA have handled this pre-order. Even their website shows 'in stock', but my order still says 'back order'!! Im on hold to speak to a manager!

Tried to cancel the order, has to be passed on to another team, which takes 24-48 hours, but the phone may dispatch before they get the cancellation request. Crazy!!
The manager gave me a £40 e-voucher for the inconvenience. Ordered with Sony directly, with free headphones!

This doesn't happen very often, but i just spoke to a phones4u employee who actually seemed to know what he was talking about, and he replied to one of my questions with "im sorry but i dont know" which implies to me that he aint making stuff up lol. Anyway as i believe he knew what he was on about heres what he said (still take with pinch of salt tho)
"we recieved limited stock on the 11th which we thought were for delivery on the 14th but sony delayed them and we are not allowed to deliver them until the 17th, we are getting more stock on the 17th which will be delivered on the 22nd"
He then went on to tell me that my order was due to be delivered on the 22nd, when i asked if he how much stock they recieved on the 11th he replied
"sorry but i dont know........ i havent had to tell anyone they will be recieving this phone on the 17th, so maybe they haven't allocated them yet"
So there you have it, like i said take it with a pinch of salt but he seemed a lot more 'on the ball' than all the other idiots ive had to speak to. Shame i wont be able to fiddle with it over the bank holiday weekend but nevermind. Post here if you get one thursday.

Yeah that sucks, still on awaiting stock, i suppose i did get loads of cashback on mine though, so an extra few days isnt the end of the world, just sucks so much -.- considering the website states delivery of tomorrow =/

i just checked there site, still dont actually say dispatched yet but my hopes are building as there general next day delivery terms say if ordered by 6pm, and mine changed at 5.09pm..... yeah i seen a post by you regarding cashback..... you're up t 200 aint ya? i only getting 75

Mine is on its way! checked my emails this morning and had an email from DPD to say its been dispatched and due for delivery today!
Phones4U page must have just messed up and not updated.
Roll on 5pm til i finish work!

tracking on the dpd page says its currently at my closest depot and is due for delivery between now and 8pm

not sure about voucher, i think i read it should be with you within a few days.... but can take up to 28.

shotgun, i envy you so much right now, i phoned dpd yesterday when tracking showed my phone had started its journey to me, but the guy i spoke to reckoned i couldnt collect it from the depot this morning as it wont arrive there until tomorrow, so far according to tracking it left leceister 6pm yesterday, birmingham hub 2 about 8pm, birmingham hub 3 at 9ish n thats it, arrrrrgh........
