Hello
Was wondering if the internal connector for the touchscreen+LCD of theGalaxy S2 was compatible with other screens, such as the 10" Galaxy Tab screen. Basically if it would be possible to hack together a functioning tablet out of a Galaxy S2 and a replacement screen from the tablet?
I've searched the web but i cant find a discription on the various pins the connectors have for either the phone or the tablet.
Anyone know anything on this topic?

Hi!
I've just bought my new Galaxy S2 and MHL cable! I connected it with my big screen LCD TV and it works great! Since I have really long HDMI cable I come up with an idea that i could use SGS2 screen as touch-pad! Basically I'm looking for an application that would make SGS2 act as touch-pad while on LCD TV is opened another application like Internet/video.
If there is no any app I've just gave you an idea
googled "android touchpad" and came up with this http://remotedroid.net/
not too far, wasn't it
Tnx, I saw those kind of application's... The problem is a bit more complex. I'm looking for an app that works like on Kyocera Echo dual-screen phone but the second screen is actually LCD TV!
Hope someone can help me out here. I broke the screen on my Sprint S4 L720 got the new replacement screen in and peeped out the youtube videos on replacement. I have one problem my S4 has 2 internal antennas and the one on the left has a broken connector. I have searched hi and low and can not fine one video or pic of another S4 with this cable.I connects on the left side of the charging port circuit board and runs the length of the phone and connect to the main board just under the vibration motor. I put the phone back together and all seems to work but would really like to know what this antenna cable is for.

My Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has a black screen!Everything else works, including sound and touchscreen, just nothing is shown at all.How can I fix this without going to a tech shop?:crying:
Force reboot by holding power, home, vol up and down buttons at the same time. It should reboot after 10 seconds
Hello everyone.
The last weekend i replaced the lcd screen in my Samsung Galaxy tab 4 10.1 t530 succesfully, but i noticed that there were two pieces of rubber under the screen táctil. I remove the two pieces and then the screen did not turn on anymore.
I did every button combination and a lot of tutorials of internet, and i had the light suspicion about the ribbon lcd flex had been broken in the second lcd lean, althoug it looked good.
And this morning, i bought a new flex lcd, (2-5 euros) and voila, that was the issue, and i have no Heard about it in the net.
I wish this may help anyone.
Regards.
I have ab s4 i9505 laying around with broken screen and as i don't need it as phone I have an crazy idea to pickup an 7" display (thinking about tab 3) as they are pretty cheap and attach it to phone for use as an in car head unit. I am wondering if someone did anything similar or have any idea if this will work. I have no idea if connectors are same even, there could be other problems also but I would like to build this Frankenstein
I own a tab 3 and my son owns the 9505.
Both need screen replacements, so it is safe to say I have researched both screens.
The S4 has a sealed unit, single part lcd panel and digitizer that requires a single connection to the motherboard.
The tab 3 has separate lcd panel and digitizer, both of which need to be connected to the motherboard via their own dedicated flex cables. So (catagorically) yes, the connectors are different, and no, there is absolutely no cross compatibility. Even if they were the same, I have a feeling that DPI would be an issue.
The S4 has a better/higher resolution screen than the Tab 3, so a hypothetical 'swap out' of screens would (even if it was possible) cause widespread system instability at best......
Hi,
I've got a Samsung N910 - no suffix, just N910 as shown under the battery. It has 2 SIM slots, the USB connector is at the top, it has no hard (clickable) Home button, just a soft button as part of the screen. I can't find it in any lists of the variants of the Samsung N910*. I need to replace the USB socket because it won't charge but I have no idea which part to buy. Can anyone help me to identify this phone / tablet. I've included some photos.
Thanks.

N910 is galaxy note 4 and that my friend is definitely not a note 4. It looks like it could be a note 4 battery but not the phone. If it's a Samsung just boot do download mode. Hold volume down and power and home. It will show you the model there
That's not a Note 4 bro
