Hello everyone.
The last weekend i replaced the lcd screen in my Samsung Galaxy tab 4 10.1 t530 succesfully, but i noticed that there were two pieces of rubber under the screen táctil. I remove the two pieces and then the screen did not turn on anymore.
I did every button combination and a lot of tutorials of internet, and i had the light suspicion about the ribbon lcd flex had been broken in the second lcd lean, althoug it looked good.
And this morning, i bought a new flex lcd, (2-5 euros) and voila, that was the issue, and i have no Heard about it in the net.
I wish this may help anyone.
Regards.

Hi all,
I sucessfully changed my cracked digitizer on my Nexus 7 gen 1. Followed the procedure in youtube and heated my screens and used guitar wire to remove the cracked digitizer-looked good.. Cleaned up the glue on the LCD and and taped the LCD to the digitizer. I did not glue the LCD to the digitizer. Reasembled everything and booted.
I booted and everything booted correctly. Except for starting. I had to drag the lock icon over to the right to open the tablet. Swiping did not work.
The digitizer does not work with swipes. I had to touch several times to even get a response. I could touch a icon app to start it but could not turn pages if I needed to. I thought the digitizer electronics was defective, so I bought a used motherboard(suposely 100% tested).
When the new motherboard came, I rassembled everything.
I powered up the new motherboard. Half of the screen had sigguily lines and I could see the boot up icons coming up on the other half. Thinking I did something wrong, I pulled the battery connector. Rechecked all of the connections, and pushed the start button. Nothing happened. No light of any kind.
I reinstalled my original motherboard and same thing, no boot up at all. The only difference is that with my original motherboard, I heard a "bonk" sound from the speaker 3 seconds after I push the start button, but nothing on the screen.
Any suggestions from anybody? Maybe bad LCD connector. If the connector is bad, would that prevent booting?
Anybody seen this before?
Help!!!!!!

Leave it charging for half hour and press power button for 10 to 15 seconds and it will boot
Hi all,
I think I found the answer already.
My LCD flat cable is broken. Using a ohmmeter, I found most of the flat gold traces have a break in them. Probably from my dis-assembly of the
and assembly of the LCD too many times. i am ordering two LCD cables from a China distributor.
I hope it fixes the problem, I have not received the cables yet.
But the question remains. Does having a bad LCD cable prevent or stop the Nexus 7 from booting?

Hello,
I own a Galaxy S5 (g900F) and wanted to open it because it has been making issues lately. It first began with broken sensors and main microphone (installed new roms several times, no change), then more recently it started to turn off as soon as it was bent slightly, taking it out of my jeans pocket was enough to let it turn off. Since a couple days it also happens randomly and then it doesn't start and sticks at the "Galaxy S5 G900F - Powered by android" screen. I have to let it restart for a couple minutes until it finally boots up.
Because of this and some loose part inside the phone (it was the camera) I opened up the phone but now the screen doesn't turn on, not even at all. While taking the phone apart I accidently cracked the LCD-display a bit, though I don't know if a crack in the LCD means completely death of the whole screen. Do you know more about this?
Thanks for your time and kind regards
i do know that u need a new phone, if the screen is cracked it might not work or the touch screen too
My Zenphone 2 laser ze551kl was working fine till I dropped it and broke the screen. The phone worked fine with the broken screen, no problems booting up or using any apps. I was still on lollipop as well, not rooted/unlocked.
I ordered a new screen off ebay and did the swap. When I power on the phone, nothing shows up on the display. However after awhile, I can feel the haptic feedback when I randomly tap the screen. I can also see the backlight is on sometimes. Unfortunately, I cannot put the old broken screen back on as it completely fell apart when I was removing it from the bezel. I assumed the new screen was broken so I returned it and ordered another one and I get the same result. I've checked the connectors many times and they are plugged in securely.
The phone also is detectable by "adb devices" if I hold down and power, give it a few seconds, then select the second item blindly for sideload. Looking for tips on how to proceed or troubleshoot.
S7 Edge Screen goes Black after "Galaxy S7 Edge" Splash Screen on Startup! Help!
I've had my S7 Edge for quite a while, since August, actually. It was a great phone until December. While I was watching YouTube the screen got a rainbow tint to it. After instinctively holding the power and volume down, I let out a sigh of relief when I saw the splash screen that said "Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Powered by Android." My joy was quickly eradicated when the screen flickered once and turned black. It was still registering my presses, as I could feel it vibrate. I reset it using device manager on my N6P and it displayed the Android Robot that said erasing under it perfectly fine. I was thinking it was a software or firmware issue, but i'm unsure at this point. It was dropped about two months before it quit working, and only suffered minor cracks in the screen. I don't know what to do, as AT&T won't repair or replace it because it was part of a buy one, get one deal. Thankfully I have my Nexus 6P to fall on, but I still need this phone. Thanks in advance for any help!
EDIT: The phone ended up melting, and nearly exploded, and Samsung is replacing it. Problem Solved
Some days ago my tablet started malfunctioning. My family member was uses it regularly. One day when the battery was at 25%, they disconnected the earphone from the tablet, and the tablet died immediately. After few days of charging it. I found out that the screen is malfunctioning.
It mostly happens when I apply pressure on the top area of the tablet, the screen glitches out, looks like a ribbon is loose, but I opened the tablet and reconnected the top ribbon cables. But still the problem occurs.
It works for maybe 1 or 2 minutes and then glitches out.
Anyone please help me to solve this problem.
Please watch this video
I have taken video of the tablet :- https://youtu.be/BUPNA1s5tsA
Galaxy tab e funny colors and gliches on screen.
I have two galaxy tab e's (smt560) one black and white and the white one has the same issue. My mum used to use it regulary until one day when she was using it it crashed and now it has the same issue. I don't know if the white ones are faulty because the black one was abused and it works just fine. I flashed the stock rom once again but it didn't fix it i think the screen is faulty but i'm not sure
