I have looked but I can't find the back glass plate anywhere. Broke it in the first 10 min of having the phone. If anyone has a link to where I can find one it would be great. Thanks...

I've seen it online for sale. Google it.
How did you manage to break it right after getting it?
I saw this link in a thread(s) in this 4rum, search those threads for further information.I Dont have any relationship with the website, so it's not PR or advertising.

It`s on Etradesupply. http://www.etradesupply.com/oem-lg-nexus-4-e960-battery-door.html

Hi all... I ordered by nexus 7 from staples when it first came out. I didn't notice any screen issues at first but once outside their return period I noticed the left side was separating like other had described. Well last night several cracks formed in that area and the screen doesn't respond at all to touch anywhere on it. Staples doesn't want to do anything for me as I am outside their return period. Does Google provide a warranty? If so how do I set things in motion to get it repaired or replaced. Thanks!

Asus should cover it. But you will have to send it to them and hope they deem it was a manufacturing defect and Hope they don't say it was your fault.

Be honest, did you try the screen separation fix or left it alone an started seeing cracks form?

I didn't try any fix.. I didn't know I had an issue for very long until it cracked.... I'd own up to it if it was me

But seriously... Does anyone know who to contact about this?

You have to contact Asus directly if not purchased from the Google Play Store.

LOOK AT YOUR WARRANTY CARD!!!!!!! It's in the box!
Then let me know what they say when you call/email
Let me start of by saying I personally like the bumper. Not as good looking as the official bumper, but it does the job and looks fairly nice. The only issue I am having is the fact that the rubber in the bumper tends to separate after a while. Seems like a classic you get what you pay for situation, being that its only 10 USD. Just letting everyone know before you decide to get it.

There are already multiple inquiries of this. Contact Poetic so they can issue you another bumper. Their first batch was apparently defective.

in my situation, i got 6 free, 3 original broke, 3 first replacements broke, have 3 more on the way! lol
While its great that they replace them, it does show a lack of quality in the product. Im surprised there isnt more people selling their own bumpers on ebay etc
6 bumpers.!
Cool story bro

Why couldn't you just post this in the existing thread? No reason to start a new thread. They'll send you a new one.

Yeah, they have a new revision and if you contact support, they'll send you one of the newer ones

mine came apart as well. Contacted yourpoetic.com several days ago and haven't heard a peep.
I know its simple to get a device replaced. My n4 has something under the glass on the bottom half of the screen nearest the bezel. It was there from buying it but it's been more than 15 days. What's the best way for me to replace the phone from Google?

Hi just click on your order from the email receipt you should have received if you ordered through Google Play. From there it should have a number to call regarding your order. That's the number for the Google play store. Not sure what country you're in but the phone should have a years warranty (I'm in the UK). This should cover it for faults and defects.
Not being mean but it's easy to do. It even said "if you need help with your order call ..."
That was on my order confirmation I got when I ordered my Nexus.

Hey there, long time lurker here but now I really need your help. I managed to drop my Nexus 4 this morning from about 3 foot onto lino flooring in my bathroom. It landed smack bang on it's back and the back glass is shattered.
Are there any cheap solutions to repairing this? I saw some glass on the bay for about £20, I don't know how easy it will be to repair though. Also thought about getting a skin from dbrands and just sticking it over it, hoping it holds.
Thanks, Ben.
I guess there aren't any alternatives.

It's not the screen, it's the glass on the back.

their are 2 options you will find the one with NFC with be more expensive if you dont use NFC get the one without it and i got one for a friend off of ebay just search" nexus 4 back housing".
As far as buying a new back, I've heard a lot of people going on eBay, but where you get it is up to you.
As far as how to replace it once you obtain a replacement back, check out this thread. It has pictures and a nice step-by-step guide on how to do it. Scroll down a few posts and the OP also tells you where he got his replacement from.
Call LG
LG charged me $69.00 to replace the back glass.
Personally I'd save myself some money and time and go with a dbrand skin. The carbon one actually looks very nice on the N4 IMO (look at Taylor Martin's posts on www.pocketnow.com if you want to see it).

It's whether it will stay on though, with the glass being shattered and all I thought it might peel off with the shattered glass.

I rang them in the UK and they said they don't do repairs.
The people they referred me to (Carphone Warehouse) quoted me £79.99.

Decided to get a dbrands skin and a ringke fusion case. Maybe some superglue to hold that glass together.

Sorry, that was the wrong link. This is the correct one, if you're still interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZDAIgwbXk4 (the first 2:30) and the oem back: http://www.etradesupply.com/oem-lg-nexus-4-e960-battery-door-nfc-version.html
So I just took my phone out of it's case and noticed that the back glass was cracked. I read in one of the threads that apparently a back repair from Google is free? It's kind of hard to believe but does anyone know anything about it? If it's not free, how much would it be to have the back fixed? Thanks.
Its not free. You can find the back piece for about $60 online

Yeah I didn't think so :/ but is there anyway I could buy just the glass and change it? That's only $20. I don't want to pay $60 for a back lol.

There is a lot of post explaining this particular question in detail for simple and short no or at least it's very hard due to things actually being hooked up to the glass
