Well it looks green to me. Try cm10 i spose. If that don't work try a different one is it, no chance of any permanent damage is there?
Try using this application to see if you have a red or green lens.
Ah, brill, cheers for that, Green lens it says, oh well, looks yellow to me. Like I say, if you put wrong cm on its no big shake just try another one, is that right?

Read the various guides. It will work. Make sure you only flash MB525 Defy ROMS, not MB526 or you may lose your camera.

Camera works great on my MB525 Green Lens running quarx cm10 nightly 20120912. Has worked for me since the first nightly.

Because of SoC camera device the Defy green lens have no 720p recording.

for red lens exist the "red lens camera patch" and of course I think all ROMs after oct 2012 contain this patch.
Aaaahhhh, I have a green lense but I have a Defy Plus ! Perhaps the 720p record will work.
My idea is that like we may see, the other AOP rom (customized rom) support 720p only for Defy red lense ; Defy Plus red lense AND Defy plus green lense
for example with this rom, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1161110&highlight=tweak it's written "- HD video recording for Defy(red)/Defy+"

Light effect? You mean the Torch when you hold Volume up?
I use Echo Rom with Exposed Framework (Fully Customisable)
Or the effect you get when you move your hand over the screen and it lights up with Time and Notifications??
Settings / Controls / Motion Controls / Air Gesture - Turn on Quick Glance
Just like the effect u have it on s4... i think its called lens flare...

For some reason samsung decided to disable it for any wallpaper, so if you activate a live wallpaper in any samsung rom it will remove either the ripple effect or the watercolor and put the lens flare one, but you cant put it with standard ones

sloved.... very strange about these effects.... I tried to d/l some live wallpapers and gonna live with it... but strangely the live wallpaper just disappear and my own wallpaper showed up with light effect lockscreen... I think its a bug and hopefully wont get it removed....

edit: that didn't work for me....just add a live wallpaper and the lens comes back?

Yes once avtivated the lens effect comes back and after using for awhile the wallpaper change back itself but u will still has that effect

Yeah, me neither. I guess Samsung forgot to include the light effect on the latest KitKat version.

I'd love to see a blacked out theme with blue highlights, numbers, etc., without any fancy backgrounds on the settings or dialer screens. Something like the Eclipse ROMS with blue, similar to gunthermics/average Joe's apps. Would have to be compatible with hyperdrive.
It has to be different in some ways so as not to Kang their work though..
I'd love to see a dark theme with holo blue, kit kat gray and black!

Ok. Circuitry I have seen. Can Bean's theme be used on Hyperdrive? Plus the only cobalt I have seen is white backgrounds? Sorry I'm a bit at a loss here. I'm mainly trying to find black backgrounds, blue highlights, or even a combo of highlights..anything but green and red, without bright flashy backgrounds... Without changing ROMS. I have looked, plenty. I've even searched the other carrier sections, but I'm not sure of compatibility there.

I've been running Timberwolf and ElixiumDark. Both are good, but still not perfect - now and then dialogs or popups have dark text on a dark background.

Magpie doesn't need colors anymore. Just make sure you don't have framework L checked
Layers also work fine on the stock ROM. Magpie is the best because it has everything

Sounds like you need the beta version that works with the 6P or it won't open magpie..

@Rixsta that link is dead now, any other way to get the beta?
I use the RRO Layers Manager from the PlayStore with Magpie layers. It has virtually any color you want from true black to bright green
