Hey guys!i saw this like game on x8 forum,so i wanted to post here,so i can see how we know each other on g3 forum rules?you need to describe a person who posted above you lets start
And just to say,g3 forum and his members are still my favourite,and i learned much from you guys,and ill be thanking you for that till the end of my life

The guy above me is croatian, he enjoys dubstep a lot ! and he makes some amazing ports for our phone !
He didn't learn me anything but he changed the way I listen to music with my phone !

The person above me has the best and most famous Avtar.
I once used his CM6 theme when I had a g3, thanks for that.

Person above me encouraged me to settle my differences with members in the G3 community and helped me get back into development. Thanks man!

The person above is one who I really look up to. I never understand whatever tech stuff he speaks, but looks cool.

The guy above me taught us how to make a cool phone stand for our g3.

The Guy above me made a really good guide to porting 9lockmods and is always giving positive feedback on here!

The Guy above me is great at porting bootanimations

The guy above me once had a Galaxy3 & he helped me & others in some situations while being a Galaxy 3 user..and he posted fast darmancy 3g battery tweak which i used in my rom...Thanks man

No offense OP, i don't know whether you know about this or not but these kinds of threads aren't encouraged in this forum. Every launcher is good, the developer designs it according to his whims and fancies, and every one has different views about 'em. It's best if you decide for yourself.

Dude, I agree with you. Having long discussions on our opinions of the launchers, roms and all that isn't wrong. Thing is, XDA is NOT the place for that. It's a place solely for development. Obviously noobs (like me) can enter the site and ask questions, but questions like these which initiate long discussions isn't good. Yes, we can have a thread and a poll with it, for users to vote for the best launcher they think, best rom, kernel and all that. But only ONE thread. Here we are seeing about 10 threads having only these questions.
Two main reasons why XDA discourages these kinds of threads :-
1) It increases the number of the threads in the forum, and makes it difficult for the moderator to clean up.
2) The money for maintenance of XDA dosen't grow on trees. It is solely dependent on donations and contributions from other users. Less number of these threads, less will be the problems in maintaining the site.

there is no point in discussing this,
honestly i've tried a lot of launchers,
some were recommended by others but i did not like them,
so to prevent any spam and something pointless,
try all the launchers and see what you like best

XDA's priority is for anyone who contributes to the site, helps in maintaining it, besides contributing to the world of Android, Windows Phone and Bada Development and sharing it in a good-mannered way....

XDA in its early stages had only a few members, and it's sole purpose was to be an area of development. Then it allowed other members to join so that they could know what fun they were missing from their phones, providing Q&A sections so that it could help these people. And, it's doing all of this for free.

let me reiterate that for you,
xda is a place to share and understand,
to learn and broaden the horizons of smartphone development,
this place is for everyone,
the noob, dev, average user and the like,
the wrong part is,
asking the same questions over and over,
we have a google and search button for looking at the best apps,
like this thread,
its pointless to ask what is the best launcher,
it also pisses off users and mods,
techno told me in a PM that its getting hard keeping the forum clean since nobody bothers to read anything or search,
every new user wants the quickest answer possible,
imagine if all of us are like that,
then xda would be a wet market for useless ****,
if i was a new user in xda and have no knowledge and i look at this thread and i saw someone post "XYZ launcher is the best",
i installed XYZ launcher in my phone but i found out that i hated it so i'd be dissapointed since he told me that XYZ was the best launcher and will also hate xda since i thought i was provided wrong information,

I have a GT-S5360 and i was wondering if i could get the apk version of Angry Birds star wars and Amazing Alex. I know that the market version is not supported of both the apps. You get a life... Everyone failed to answer his question. If you want something done, don't post at all, just report it. The continued disrespect of new members is becoming very annoying to me. I don't see everything. Not saying there should of been a welcoming committee, but everyone just putting wrong section or supporting a group when questions should be post on XDA and not supporting your own agenda.

Hi OP, we are really sorry for whatever happened here.
Onto your question, these games aren't supported as you know. Any dev hasn't really tried to port them to galaxy y. I suppose the reason is that the games aren't popular enough. Anyways, do check in regularly, because if anyone does get a working port, it'll surely be posted in a new thread in this forum. This is XDA, anything can happen here, so keep your fingers crossed.

Yep, those 2 games are FREE and are NOT warez. They are allowed in xda.
No ICS/CM based ROMs are working without bugs right now, all are lot of bugs till now. Check out Jelly Blast ROM/ USSRv8/ Hyperion ROM, those are the best imo till now, which ever suits you use em, trying switching ROMs to get the one you like the most

It Just Depends On The user How or He/she Uses it.

i've no problem using Jellyblast,and many people have no problem using Hyperion.

i know what u guys mean but my phone is a different model version it is GT-S5360T while others i think are GT-S5360 so many things dont work like youtube and etc

I've got plenty of experience in C++ and Java. Just not loving QML so much :/. I'm in the middle of a few projects. Anyone making anything interesting?

Honestly I think most people will be offset by qml because its based on JavaScript. Don't get me wrong, JavaScript is great. However, it can be a nightmare to learn, and use efficiently. I've not personally tried qml myself, and I bet its awesome. But regardless of how you look at it, its another thing to learn. Support will come, its just going to take time for some to wrap their heads around.

It was hypothetical. Not everyone reads the rules daily just calm down this isn't a place to jump on people for making mistakes help people don't bash them there's no reason for that

I have been trying the SDK since it came out and QML took some getting used to but now I find it awesome...
Any body interested in helping me with some graphic elements for the software-centre mockups let me know
