Guys is there way to stop restarting apps completely by changing system file coding....
I see lots of background apps running... and it consume lot power...
Try using a task manager like Advanced Task Manager
task killer may inturn uses RAM 24*7 to kill other tasks... its bad idea to use task killers
You can use a task manager or use titanium backup and freeze an app.
Yao bro... task manager consum lot f powr... i mean system file modification.. like removing the code that restarts apps...

why I always have phone process memory 20 to 30 MB free.. though i use task killer within 5 min it from 60 MB it goes to 20 MB please help my phone always slows down.
This is on my Xperia X8
At first there is no need to use task killer apps since the android software is smart enough to do this job on its own, from my experience only thing you get from task killers is to drain your battery faster...
On topic now, what rom you have on your phone now? Stock Rom or some custom? you tried to install app2SD so that you be able to move apps in SD? Have you uninstalled any factory apps that you dont need?
In my phone that is running Stock Rom atm. i uninstalled more than 10 factory apps and managed to have free memory +-100 MB
in any case check these threads so that you know what you need

Err dude..i think OP ask about free Memory or in other words RAM not storage..try watchdog..able to set blacklist for an app..which mean if u want that app only used 10% of ur ram..and if the app used 11%..watchdog will kill it automatically
+ 1 for kecil ...or it can be increased with task killer apps.find it on the market
i will try this..thanks for ur help.

i have some question
1)which is fully working custom rom ?
2) how can i go back to stock rom
3) app 2sd will it affect my app performance?

Download autoruns, run it and then your opinion about how smart android is will change.
Task killer is a must have app from my point of view.

1. if you talk about FULLY, its still bugs on customs. but the less bugs is MiniCM
2. back up your system using xrecovery before you apply custom ROM, then you will be able to restore it later
3. no effect, it just remain on your SD
I would like to know the solution for memory always decreases, causing the performance of the phone became very slow, even if not in use.
I use ZDBox and periodically do a "kill all", but seems to have no effect.
Your advice is greatly appreciated

It seems that your SD Card(Internal/External/Both) is infected with viruses. Please virus scan with a renowned antivirus program (Quick Heal Recommended). I hope this will solve your problem.

no that does not work,
apparantly you have no knowledge in linux based systems,
there are no known infectious android viruses yet,
there are such thing as rootkits and adware but all they do is steal info and make you click things,
as for the OP,
your system seems to be loaded with apps,
try uninstalling apps,
sometimes apps run in the background without you knowing it causing strain to the CPU thus making the phone lag

hmm,
there seems to be a issue with your rom,
just try and reflashing to stock again and see if it will return to normal usage,
stock rom without modification actually has about 130mb memory usage
install autorun manager pro
need root .use it and block proccess you do wont

Hi
some Q abut the same issue : bloatware
1. the more apps installed on my phone = the more memory is consume ? the faster my battery drains ?
2. if i root my S4 and then delete all unwanted apps came with it, both Samsung's and cellular provider's, do i risk stability of the S4 by that ?
3. regarding the former question, if i go to app manager and disable apps i do not like or use, do i risk stability of the S4 by that ?
p.s. i do not like to root my S4 at this time... seems unnecessary to me
Thanks for helping

1. Depends on what app u installed. Some will autostartup and run in the background. Some won't. You can use Greenify (requires root) to hibernate the apps.
2. If you're talking about bloatwares, then no stability wont be affected. If you're talking about some system apps like the default Samsung Music etc, then yes it might affect stability.
3. I use TitaniumBackup to freeze or uninstall apps. Becareful of what you freeze. Freezing certain system apps will disable certain features and might cause stability issue.
There are many ways you can deal with bloatware.
1. First and fastest is to simply flash a clean efficient new ROM like CM.
If u wana keep the Samsung looks and functionality the u need to stick with stock, in this case u need root and
2. u can manualy uninstall the system apps u dont want or need
3. THe last and best way imo is to use a script like http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2307355 that will clean a lot of bloatware apps without risking your ROM stability
Hey folks!
TrulyClean is a "any rom" script that removes A LOT of crap-apps (98+ apps removed) and other stuff on the phone.
Script will remove about 600mb since version 1.3 (Counted by removing from stock firmware.)
The purpose is to give you a clean start with no extras, much like the Nexus series experience but with the Samsung core intact.
All bloatware apps will be removed running the default script. I even count apps like S Voice and Samsung Hub as unnecessary apps.
Neither do I use Earth or Google+ and don't like these apps to be forced upon me as system apps when they are so easy to install from Play store!
It might be illusion but... I found my phone booting faster and running snappier with after applying this script.
Also, I don't have to cry anymore while checking the apps in the /system folder.

Try this one..
Just a advice to Who here want to user Greenify on AmigoOS... DON'T USE IT... while greenify runs on background the System Manager stay running and sometimes they start make conflict and make Random reboots because conflict on registry management on apps and it only can be fixed with a factory reset (Data/Cache/Dalvik Wipe) ... making that you don't lose what have on SDcard but all apps installed will be deleted... contacts and messages too... so if someone stay with this problem.. there is a solution :crying:
Thanks for the heads up
instead of using greenify, i used the debloater tool by gatesjunior. I disabled system manager, do i even need system manager?
