[Q] ICS Launcher

So today I was browsing the Google Play store and I found this:

Has anyone from here tried this and is it any good? Hopefully it can't brick the phone, right?

Nope I've already using it its works fine but sometimes it get fc when u try to add wallpaper from deffault ics launcher

So when it force closes, where does that lead you? Back to default SGY theme?

Its not a theme, its just a custom launcher

So it's something like an app running and you can close it at any time to restore back?
Kk, I will try this out.

Its a secondary launcher like go launcher and other launchers brotha
Just try it ur self and u will know where its go force closes that's why I revert back to modify stock launcher for my rom
Now my rom is underdevelopment by mr.maroc-os
Maybe two more days I'll be put it on dev section....

I tried it....but the icons on my menu became a little blurred, so i uninstalled it. But it'll never brick your phone though, so no need to worry!

This launcher is still beta prerelease on market soo I've been use and push too system app but still have a some problem sometimes this launcher messed up but u can try

No offends haha just cool brotha every rom even custom rom have a different problems with this launcher
Just used it if u like don't used it if I don't like
But I tell u this app eat too much ram

Just did a try with "Go Launcher EX" and "ICS Theme Go Launcher EX". The menu was white and the text wasn't visible, just the app icons.

yeah I tried it
its nice and looks like ics, but there is a problem in the labeles of the applications in the app drawer
n its slow
if u want ics theme, crack adw launcher ex and download ics theme.

Or just get Phoenix launcher. Still under development but looks great already. And the widget tab in the app drawer actually works.

yes, if you uninstall it, you will get the stock launcher back, and it doesnt change anything else than the launcher

is there any rom which has spb shell 3D as its default launcher for my samsung galaxy young s5360 ? or anything like that ?

Isn't spb a paid one
Anyway i haven't seen any such Roms here but you could easily make a launcher default - why rely on Roms then

The pre gm version has 7 or 9 i guess - just pinch inwards to get an overview of current hs and to add more

The xperia launcher is on hyperion 7 gm final, but on 7x pre gm the launcher is holo styled.

I have founded a tweak to make the performance of the phone much better for cm7.2 (And this tweak makes antutu bench score 1700's to 5000, and I gues this tweak increase the performance of gaming)

Also even though antanu scores are inaccurate and not reliable ... 5000 is still a dream for galaxy y
Ubuntu themed apps and other stuff here
--->make phone faster and battery efficient
--->partition and link2sd for NOOBS?!?!?
--->3d games for galaxy y (no root no lag)

I think these tweaks can work you can try them on the best possible built of cm7 yet i.e by madteam see dev section keep a nandroid backup ready to be more safe keep stock rom odin files ready. I dont think that gpu rendering will work others will surely work try'em if you want.

You can try them on cm7 but they won't increase benchmark to 5000 and all...
Its just for advertising...

Try other launchers.. browse the playstore, i personally use nova it does what u say, just adjust the settings for your needs

@assphere: Nope! Sadly it's not copatible with our gingerbread device. It requires android 4.0 and above. @sanchit0403: Do you mean the transition effect while moving through screens? If yes then there are customs roms with those transitions.

I Suggest You One Browser Its Good Downloading I always this on my tab and my phone and Nexus 4 also

I recommend Baidu browser.It provides good speed.

Naked Browser for me. It is better than Boat Browser (including the mini version).

uc browser is good too https://play.google.com/store/apps/...=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_term=ucbrowser .

For browsing opera mini is awesome....
For data savings and download speed try uc mini (lesser space= approx 2mb apk, speed mode uses lesser data) and it has a powerful download manager.....
For ui and download try next browser

Also check out Dolphin browser. It can download files also when Stock one says, "download failed".

find out what works "best" for you as everyone has different needs and preferences

UC Browser, has greater dl speed and upload speed
