[Q] ICS Launcher

So today I was browsing the Google Play store and I found this:

Has anyone from here tried this and is it any good? Hopefully it can't brick the phone, right?

Nope I've already using it its works fine but sometimes it get fc when u try to add wallpaper from deffault ics launcher

Its not a theme, its just a custom launcher

So it's something like an app running and you can close it at any time to restore back?
Kk, I will try this out.

Its a secondary launcher like go launcher and other launchers brotha
Just try it ur self and u will know where its go force closes that's why I revert back to modify stock launcher for my rom
Now my rom is underdevelopment by mr.maroc-os
Maybe two more days I'll be put it on dev section....

I tried it....but the icons on my menu became a little blurred, so i uninstalled it. But it'll never brick your phone though, so no need to worry!

This launcher is still beta prerelease on market soo I've been use and push too system app but still have a some problem sometimes this launcher messed up but u can try

No offends haha just cool brotha every rom even custom rom have a different problems with this launcher
Just used it if u like don't used it if I don't like
But I tell u this app eat too much ram

Just did a try with "Go Launcher EX" and "ICS Theme Go Launcher EX". The menu was white and the text wasn't visible, just the app icons.

yeah I tried it
its nice and looks like ics, but there is a problem in the labeles of the applications in the app drawer
n its slow
if u want ics theme, crack adw launcher ex and download ics theme.

Or just get Phoenix launcher. Still under development but looks great already. And the widget tab in the app drawer actually works.

yes, if you uninstall it, you will get the stock launcher back, and it doesnt change anything else than the launcher

I'm interested, but would love to see the complete list of changes from the Stock ROM.
I haven't flashed a ROM or kernel, so it's as stock as possible (but had to root for obvious reasons) and I might consider a flash. However, because I will have to start all over with installing every app/game I have, it is not something I will do many times.
Main features that I would like:
- When using normally, battery usage should be low
- When using games, the phone should know the lowest possible power consumption needed for optimum framerate (maybe a toggle or something when a game start?)
- No bloatware (but then, what IS bloatware? It means something different for everyone)
- No memory consumption for a homescreen that I do not use. eg. The Sense on HTC One X must be loaded (partioally) just to use the camera, while I use Apex as home screen
- And very important: possibility to change SDcard and ExtSDcard memory. Having only 10Gb for SDcard is the largest problem of this device. The 32Gb I have on ExtSDcard should be the real SDcard! (Yes, I use DirectoryBind, but it's not a real solution)

You're already rooted, why not use titanium backup to backup and restore all your apps and data?

Just get titanium backup pro,
Create a update.zip
Of the apps and games and all others what u want,
And after flashing a new rom just flash update.zip via recover and all
Ur data will be restored

[Q] Lockscreens setting not working

I update my galaxy y to JBlast v3.0.5 OTA, and when i go to lockscreen setting it always having a FC.
Is anyone here having the same problem, i wish it will be fix soon

I am facing the same problem after updating to JBlast v3.0.5 and it has a lot of bugs, like messages force close, google.android.com force close and off course lock setting force close.

Not only above thing I had loose voice input output setting samsung app store

Try other launchers.. browse the playstore, i personally use nova it does what u say, just adjust the settings for your needs

@assphere: Nope! Sadly it's not copatible with our gingerbread device. It requires android 4.0 and above. @sanchit0403: Do you mean the transition effect while moving through screens? If yes then there are customs roms with those transitions.
