When I try to turn it on, nothing happens.
I have tried reflashing the sbf and every thing.
I have also tried turning it on while holding 'X' still nothing happens.
Nothing Works.
Any help is appreciated.
You may trial hold @ when turning on, and after shows the "!" you hold the volume butons with câmera, then you clean dalvik cache.
It's works with me.

You have to hold X when turning on your phone until exclamation mark is showing on your screen, then press volume up + volume down and clean data and cache partition. After it turn your phone normally.
Sorry for my english.

I tried to sbf, it got done and rsd said phone has to be powered up manually. So i tried to turn it on and all it does is boot loop. My computer wont pick it up. Since its not rooted can i boot into recovery? What do i do?

Wipe data and cache from the stock recovery.
1. Pull your battery.
2. Turn on your phone while holding the 'up' arrow on the keyboard
3. Hold until you are in stock recovery.
4. Press the magnifying glass on the keyboard to see the menu
5. Select data wipe and then cache wipe (using the volume buttons. or arrow keys and the camera or 'ok' button to select)
6. Then reboot system and you should be good to go.
Also how did you sbf?

You have to borrow somebody's charged battery. Or find a way to get yours charged because the phone won't charge without some software running.
Once you get a working battery try the steps I gave you to get into stock recovery if you would like/need more help with any of the steps just let me know.
(the D1's battery will work if you have a friend with a D1. I don't know about the DX though.)

Did you try to SBF while running a ROM? I think its best be rooted stock at least to SBF. I had problems SBFing if I wasn't stock.
ok, i got a battery. but when i try to use the up arrow and power button to get into recovery it just goes into bootloader. i sbf'd from fission 2.2.1. so yea, i was runnin a rom. ive never had so much trouble messin with a phone before. i know its not bricked but i am getting frustrated...
BOOM!!! Got it baby!! OK, so its x and power to boot into stock recovery. Worked like a charm! And on the bright side, i scored a D1 for 100. I needed a battery, buddy had a nearly perfect droid...hooked it up

cool glad it's fixed!
i recently tried to install matt's epic unleashed 3.0 rom. the install completed and all, but when my phone booted up the touch screen wasnt working. ive booted into the stock recovery and erased everything but it still does the same thing. is there any way for me to sbf my phone?
Don't have too much knowledge of that ROM, but I still want to throw in my two cents... When you turn on the phone hold the "up" arrow key and it should go into the bootloader screen and be ready for an spf.
thanks man thats exactly what i needed
edit- nope, nevermind. it boots to the flash screen but when i connect it to my computer it says the device malfunctioned on my computer screen
yea, this is bad. its not sbfing, rsdlite doesnt complete, any ideas guys?
Ok after it says "failed" or whatever is it going into bootloops? Try powering on and holding the "X" key and then you should get the android with the triangle symbol. Press the "search" key on the keyboard and wipe cache and factory reset. Then reboot and you should be all set.

So I got a replacement phone that came with GB and I'm trying to flash a froyo SBF so that I can do a nandroid restore. After flashing, I'm stuck at the red M screen. Before I've had to wipe data and clear cache and that seemed to fix things and the phone would boot. To get into recovery before, you would boot up holding down pwr+menu to get the yellow triangle w/ the ? screen, then press search. Pressing search doesn't do anything now. Any ideas?

He's right about the SBF. However if you see the android, you are already in recovery. Pressing both volume buttons only shows the menu.
Hey guys. I just put the new JB leak on my razr m and rooted it using motofail2go. First of all, my root doesn't work so I tried re-flashing it. Didn't work. Then I tried to reboot into recovery and it sits at the screen with the android with the red triangle. I have no clue what I did wrong... can someone please help me before I freak out? lol
You used to be able to press volumne up+down and it would go into recovery from there...

On the screen with android you have to hold volume down and tap volume up (with down still held) to access the recovery menu.
I was running the Vortex ROM for several months now. This morning, my volume rocker wouldn't stop increasing the ringer volume. I couldn't do anything, so I pulled out the battery.
The phone would then boot till the Android exclamation sign and wouldn't go any further. I pulled out the battery several times while at that screen and now it refuses to even go beyond the bootloader. I have drained my battery completely
Please, help
I've got a battery charger that works with any battery. Hopefully, battery won't be an issue now

As mentioned in the OP, I don't see the android recovery now. All I see is the "Google" logo. This replaced the Motorola logo since I had flashed the Vortex ROM.
Powering on the phone with both volume keys pressed takes me to a screen that reads "Bootloader 30.04. Baterry OK. Ok to program. Connect USB data cable."
press and hold home, while powering on to get triangle, !, and android andy

It was on .621. As mentioned in an earlier post, I tried SBFing. It was successful except when it rebooted, it was still stuck at the M logo. Could this be a button issue?
