i need the hspl so i can install the 7.8 update manually
I got this info when resetting the phone holding the volume down button:
PD26100 SS-BC (4K)
SPL-4.5.2250.0(129685) MNG

I have read here that SPL 4.xx version have no support to install RSPL/HSPL so based on my bold number I can't install them or Windows Phone 7.8 on my Surround, am I wrong? Any alternatives? Downgrading the SPL (Option 1) version is an option? I have read about the Goldcard but it may cost money because of the usb extensions. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

you will need to use the Goldcard method to flash Cingular 1.xx to downgrade as no Shipped ROMs had been leaked for your device.

I needed to know your Firmware revision number...
but nonetheless, if your Mondrian isn't Cingular (aka AT&T) branded you will need to do the same as Talbot. (see above reply). one can make a y-cable out of regular usb cables.

sorry, no, i understood your original post.
only downgrade method would be with using the Goldcard method, as no non-Cingular Shipped ROMs have been.

You can remove HSPL by flashing the offical ROM (from SD-card). It is explained here (at the end of step 2). There is a link in that thread to original ROM's, but I haven't found a dutch Vodafone ROM yet. Do you know which version ROM and RADIO came in it originally?
EDIT: Found it You can download it here.
Sincerely,
Mac

Thanks... I saw this on Windows Phone 7 dev. forum and was going to mention it here, but you beat me to it! DL now, not sure if I am ready to flash yet. Any idea how I can get rid of HSPL on my HD7?
HSPL to SPL-XXXXX
i understand that if you install or flash your HD7 with the original ROM it will reset your SPL-XXXX , I hope that answer your question
Is this Rom will work tmous HTC hd7 developers unlocked?
Sent from my HD7 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
IF YOU have hard-spl'ed your device
Then this can be done:
Download the RTM provided by Fotball, extract it with in 7zip, delete the spl_signed.nbh (not completle sure if this is needed, but I did it anyway...delete or not at own risk, as always)
flash the rom
And here is where the warning about hard-spl and SPL versions 4.xx comes in, if you want to go back to using hard-spl,
DO NOT DO THAT WHEN USING THIS NEW RTM MANGO ROM
You MUST flash back to your stock rom and then flash rspl+hspl again.
In my case stock rom is: RUU_Schubert_TMOUS_3.01.531.02_Radio_5.65.09.25a_22.45.50.21_Signed_SCHUBERT_RELEASE.exe

Any easy way to flash my HTC HD7 T-Mobile USA
all the processes listed so far seems pretty easy. you need some help with something?
Hi all,
Can I just confirm something here - I've read through the two threads, and its not immediately obvious.
a) if I have no HSPL at all - is this fine
b) if I have 7200.68 upgraded from developer version (without the new HTC radios etc) will I need to flash to an earlier version
I'm pretty sure I've used one of these to update before, seemed easy enough and I didnt install HSPL to my knowledge.
Cheers,
Everytinme I try and run this I get Invalid Vender ID.
It was an O2 Branded HD7 then used the no goldcard method to unbrand it with NOdO
Error 294 INVALID VENDER ID
BOOT LOADER SCEEN:
SPL-1.69.2250.0 (117833)
os version:
7.0.7392.0
Radio version: 5.54.09.21_22.33b.50.10u
Any suggestions to get this working?

Thanks,

Where tethering (internet sharing)? how activate this options?
Upgraded from MS Developers RTM to this version am now getting screen corruption on lock screen (typically if the zune player, in sync mode is open behind it).
Anyone else?
Gordon.
PS Am using gold card method (used Zune update for MS update).
Are people using this leaked ROM and is it working well? I am considering an upgrade to it....
my Phone works great with this rom...battery drain is better than RTM,and my hspa signal is improved,as web surfing
I have the 707 region phone. Is it possible to update my phone by this ROM for 401 region?
Original RUU can't detect my current version from bootloader and lets me to press Update button (current version infomation is empty). I didn't applied any RSPL/HSPL. Can I just press update without a possibility to kill my phone?
Any other mirrors for the file?
Thanks

that features are not available in our country...really,turn by turn navigation isn't available in any country!!!
I have the TMOUS HD7, why is the 2100 UMTS band so slow??? any one knows the reason? The phone can manage to get the H signal from where I live, my operator has the HSDPA band 1 UMTS 2100Mhz(currently upggraded to HSPA+), but my phone only gets UMTS speeds no HSDPA
It makes me feel that the 2100Mhz UMTS band in the TMOUS is limited to UMTS speeds.
I wanted a straight forward unlocked version of the stock RTM 7720, after reading a few threads i saw a few other people wanted it. So i guess impatience drove me to cook it for myself. So here it is:
http://www.4shared.com/file/WPVk7xlZ/Mozart_YardieRom_7720.html
All stock, SPL removed, Just unlocked/maxapps & prevent relock.
Instructions-
Be aware of XSPL issue with Mozart 4.XX roms, if required flash back to a NoDo rom before flashing XSPL( I used RSPL so it reverted back to OSPL1.30 after flashing).
I don't know if this ROM will be updatable with zune...guess we''ll have to wait and see!!!

See if that helps. I upgraded from DFT7714 through the official HTC europe 1.28 rom before RSPL, you could try that also. It may also be how you've debranded, i was originally locked orange but used a gold card to flash official HTC Europe 1.28 and debrand. something else you could try!

hi..
i want to downgrade my HTC trophy with vodafone branding. I found this topic and searched the Vodafone DE Rom. This ist the only German Vodafone Rom i found: 'RUU_Spark_S_Vodafone_DE_5.12.162.01_5.69.09_RELEASE.exe'
the numbers 5.12.162...means that this ist a rom with bootloaderversion 5.12, isn't it?
For spl downgrading i need a rom with bootloader 1.xx. Does anyone has a rom like this or is it possible to use a htc europe rom for my trophy?
Model: HTC 7 Trophy with Vodafone Branding (Germany)
Windows Phone 7.5
OS version: 7.10.7720.68
Firmware revision number: 2250.21.50001.162
Hardware revision number: 0003
Radio software vision: 5.69.09.05a_22.50.50.21U
Radio hardware version: A.102.0.D4
Bootloader version: 5.10.2250.1(131801)
Chip SOC version: 2.2.5.0
Hey, I think you need a bootloader version 3.* or earlier.
You can't flash a EUROPE ROM as long as you have got the branding.
Try this ROM to get a 1.09 bootloader.
Hi,
I downgrade my Trophy with Gold card. German Vodafone version.
This the link with steps : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1597837
I use this rom for gold card :RUU_Spark_HTC_Europe_1.20.401.00_Spark_5.54.09_RELEASE.exe, you can download from here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1427904
Its very easy. USB Ycable I maked from two usd cable. check this for Y cable: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uctenG08Fj8&feature=related
After SPL downgrade I install this ROM:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1685047
thanks a lot, both...
i'll try it and hope everything will be ok :fingers-crossed:
edit: great! i used RUU_Spark_HTC_Europe_1.20.401.00_Spark_5.54.09_RE LEASE.exe and it works perfectly... now i'm trying out hspl and dft freedom rom v5, pilex posted before

Download a custom ROM, it should only contain one .nbh eg.FINAL.nbh, take your RUU_Trophy_Radio_5.69.09.nbh replace and rename it accordingly. You will need HSPL
If using a Y cable rename it to Sparimg.img enter USB host mode (power+down+camera) and done (hopefully)
I prefer Y cable
Good Luck

Hi guys, i also have HTC Trophy from Vodafone DE. I want to do HSPL, so i need to downgrade my 5.12.2250(134400) bootloader.
I'm using Sparimg.nbh from RUU_Spark_HTC_Europe_1.20.401.00_Spark_5.54.09_RELEASE.exe. But my phone won't load this nbh. It is still in Enter USB Host Mode... I tried 3-4 microSD cards (1GB, 2GB and 4GB), 2 USB flash drives (both 8GB Kingstons), even 512MB mp3 player. LED on all memory devices is blinking, it looks like its reading from it. But phone still says Enter USB Host Mode... All converted into goldcard. But still no success. I also used Sparimg.nbh from ruu_spark_htc_europe_1.10.401.04_radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10u_by_ansar but no success. Any advice? Thanks a lot in advance.

I tried different ROMs and I have taken the original WM tmobile STOCK branding again. Unfortunately, I have always the same problem, no matter what I do.

remember that the steps are very important
try to downgrade your SPL to 2.08 @ cotulla & make sure to use a compatible Radio

DFT team released HSPL4 for all of us finally. Good news for those using latest official HTC HD2 ROM v3.14 because it supports SPL 3.03.0000. Note – SPL-3.03.HSPL only supports Windows Mobile 6.5. You still need to use SPL-2.08.HSPL to use NAND Android and Windows Phone 7. Make sure that you select the correct Hard SPL for your ROM installation.
