Well well for starters a device (find 5) purchased anywhere can become any version just by flashing a firmware.ie a European oppo find five can become a chinese find 5 by flashing the chinese firmware and it will get its OTA from China.(Got to love this idea).First the chinese system supports english and has way better battery usage than the international software.(Don't asked i tried both). It's draw-backs are no gapps and chinese bloatware are on it.U can take them off with titanium but there is not root. This thread is for future updates, rom, posting perhaps and all that comes out off oppo's mouth first.
-Root:Just flash this in recovery(to get into recovery power down device then hold vol- + pwr for 10s and choose option 4 to install file from sdcard)
-To get 3rd party and gapps widget service working:Download the newest gapps from goo.im and flash in cwm or twrp recovery(from here). The file above gives u gapps but doesnt enable widgets service.
Update 11/04/2013 Official chinese firmware download here.Put on ur sd card,go to settings OTA and local upgrade then choose it and hit wipe and let it do its thing!!
Project firefly here
More coming soon and till then hit thanks and enjoy the power of the find 5:good:

Actually you are wrong, there are a bunch of differences between the Chinese and the International version..
Here's a short list (note that this was copied directly from the thread on oppoforums.com):
1: Packaging: International Find 5 comes with an entirely English packaging.
2: Certifications: International Find 5 will have, among others, CE and FCC certification, making it theoretically legal to own and use in
for instance the EU. This will be visible on the backside of Find 5.
3: Firmware: International Find 5 comes with International (EN) Firmware pre-installed. EN firmware can be installed onto other
versions of the Find 5. We're working on adding more languages to the firmware, which currently supports English, Chinese and
Russian.
4: Networking: Chinese Find 5 does not support the 1700 MHz band on 3G (used by T-mobile in the US).
5: Support: OPPO employees will not provide English language support for Chinese devices. You can however receive support from
the Ofan community here at OPPO Forums, or communicate in Chinese with our Chinese customer support agents.
6: Price: Since the Chinese Find 5 is likely resold by a seller making a profit, there is a high chance that the price will be higher than
the upcoming International version.
Several of these aren't that important or can be fixed by flashing a different rom but #4, #5 and #6 are very important.
I suggest buying ONLY from oppo stores, that would be the OPPO shop on amazon and http://www.oppostyle.com (under maintenance when I'm writing this). That way you have the support you should have for a fair price.

Hello,
I received my Oneplus 2 today and it does not support the LTE Band 3. It`s the north USA Version and i would like to ask if anyone figured out a method to unlock the LTE Band 3 (1800mhz) . It`s because the Hardware of the Oneplus USA Version is the same like the European version.

That would be amazing if some one could figure that out. But as I did my research it seems that it's not possible that there's a hardware difference.

Should be the same procedure as the HTC M9 since they're the same processor. And for the prep work (drivers and enabling the modem diag mode) as in this thread for the OnePlus One.

Do the changes to the band stay after rebooting or upgrading the OS to a newer version? I wanted to unlock band 3 as well on my OP2.
I haven't tried writing the modem configuration yet to see if it sticks or not but was able connect the phone and read the configuration from it by following the instructions from the 2 posts I mentioned.
Say if you got Chinese oneplus 2 and changed software on it would it work on bands 20 I've seen this question asked before but can't find the post
Sent from my LG-H815 using XDA Free mobile app
anyone found a way to unlock band 3?
Have a look at this post
I suggest you to keep 3G instead of LTE because battery draining is so faster under LTE Mode. If you stay a place that have a poor LTE signal, that would be your battery killer.

I'm using A2005 usa model in India and I'm unable to use it on Airtel 4G in India. When I spoke to the OnePlus customer service they said it will need to replace the motherboard as it's a Hardware issue. I'm waiting for the motherboard to arrive from china as they don't have it yet in India. So basically it's a Hardware issue on oneplus 2 unlike it's ancestors.

Ok, guys, I`ve unlock NVram to write. Now I can save any values to change enabled bands.
Intruction:
Requirements:
OnePlus 2 with TWRP and rooted.
QXDM Pro, drivers, etc, as described here http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/general/guide-unlock-aditional-bands-qualcomm-t2877031
Stock ROM OnePlus2Oxygen_14_OTA_011_all_1512111634.zip.
Attached file.
Just unzip attachment and replace file in ROM OnePlus2Oxygen_14_OTA_011_all_1512111634.zip, in RADIO folder. Flash via twrp.
After boot you will see warning "NV backup corrupted" or something like this, dont worry.
Use QXDM to change band as you want, reboot and check. Voilya. But LTE will not work, because it is hardware issue, lol.
A few words about attached file. I just unzip this file from stock ROM, search AC 1Ah (6828 little endian) and DB 08 (56072, US LTE band) together and replace DB 08 with DF 10. Dont ask, what I did, I dont know, lol. But it is work.

There is easier way to do that without corrupting the backup.
Simply change the value is QXDM.
Then in the phone dial *#268#
Press the NV parameters
Press the Static NV Force Backup.
This will copy the new values to the backup, and they will stick later on.
BTW, to be on the safe side, make sure to backup your dycnvbk, stanvbk and EFS.
Not working for me. Cause com.android.phone crash after dial. May be because my backup is corrupted. Later will try with stock backup. But thank you anyway.
I am using the stock image with the stock phone app.
I am using Mokee, chinese AOSP firmware. BTW, I just erased nv backup partition and keep playing with nv ram. Hope will not brick my phone ))
What version do you have? US/EU/CH?
In case you have EU, cab you PM me with qcn of your device?
Unfortunatelly I have US version.
I know a way to add bands in snapdragon 801 (i did in xiaomi mi note) never tried in OPT since it has all bands i need . but it should be the same. Search google for adding bands in mi note

In that case, your phone is actually a GRA-UL10 or CL10 (not L09) - as only this model has the premium spec (64Gb storage) & dual-SIM capability.
My guess is that someone may have installed a GRA-L09 (single-SIM) firmware/rom on your phone, which would also explain the lack of dual-SIM settings. Contact the previous owner & ask about this.
What model is mentioned on the rear bottom of your phone in tiny text? And what's the full firmware build number in Settings > About phone? It will be in this format: GRA-xxxxCxxxBxxx.
Edit: Ok, what I said before may not be entirely true, as I've since found 2 instances of the L09 model with 64Gb storage + Kirin 935, & for both there's only single-SIM support mentioned:

From all the info you've given so far, my guess now is that you have an International version, but with a single-SIM European firmware installed (HERE's an example of a GRA-L09 dual-SIM firmware, so it does exist).
Where did you buy the phone from? Which country or region? If you bought it secondhand, where did your seller buy it from brand new?
What was the previous / original firmware installed before you updated to your present C432B392?
What was the original firmware that came with the brand new phone? Do you remember, or can you find out from the original buyer?
mine say

Looks like you (or the previous owner) installed a firmware version that's different to the region meant for your phone - like in these 2 examples:

What is the model number/code mentioned in tiny text on the rear bottom of the phone? It will be in this format: GRA-xxxx.

That looks fine, although normally it would be GRA-L09 & GRA-L09C469B190.
If it is as I say, which country are you from, or which country did you purchase the phone from? Also, is the phone vendor/network branded?

Usually, on network-branded phones, the company's logo will be visible during bootup. Also, there may be Entel-related apps installed.

As I've heard, the Honor 8 pro and V9 are exactly the same phones.
Because there is no international firmware for the V9, I'm wondering if it is possible after unlocking the bootloader to flash Honor 8 pro firmware?
I guess at the moment no one tried but maybe in the future.
Looking forward to hear from your experience

I was thinking on the same, but I realized that the Chinese version will get more updates and it will get the new features sooner.
I am sure that the SRK tool trick will work here too, so it should be possible to replace the ROM.

it is technically possible, flashing it shouldn't hard brick so you can flash back to Chinese after if the default recovery has a hissy fit. oppo was good with this kind of thing as an example of another Chinese manufacturer.

You're right, zb601kl is indian version. look at the screenshot, it is of flipkart india
As of today only 3gb/32gb variant is being pre order here in the philippines, and according to Asus it will be A version.
My Philippine friends never got a good answer from Asus if it were version A or B. It seems that Memoxpress, the AsusPH FB/Twitter pages, and the Asus stores near them didn't know jack.
What we do know is that a person who bought the 3GB model got A, and a person who got the pre+ordered 4GB model also got A.
I just have the indian version ZB601KL, I am having some problems with Talkmobile UK (Vodafone)
