I need help badly!!! Data network mode option disappeared!!

After flashing firmware.. the data network mode disappeared!
When i hold the power button... the data network mode option disappeared!
I really need some help!

whether firmware that u flash ??
from stock rom or cosrom??

try to flash with stock rom. u can download the stock rom from the following link:
www(.)tsar3000(.)com/Joomla/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=115:samsung-flashes&catid=55:samsung&Itemid=82

There is no such option in 2.3.5
You are possibly just shocked because you flashed something based on 2.3.5 after being used to 2.3.6.

Go to wireless and networks in settings. Go to mobile networks and toggle packet data and data roaming and fix up APN. Worked twice for me.

Funny because in my Stock Rom it never showed up that option lol, you can enable it by config>wireless>mobile whatever> toggle packet data

Mine doesn't have that option too. How to get that?

man thats also my problem right now after i install other os to my phone and i flash it to original the data network in shutdown option disappeard. . . somebody hepl us pls. . .

Just flash DXLL1 stock rom using odin

It happen to me too..

Google DXLL1 stock rom and download it then flash it using odin:good:

The best way is..
Flash your Galaxy Y in stock ROM
(note: DEPENDING ON YOUR REGION ONLY)
after Flashing..
Know your Galaxy Y's IMEI by typing *#06#
change your CSC (customer region code)
in your galaxy Y by typing..
*#272*(IMEI)#
then Install your desired network code..
I'm using Open Line from Philippines.(XTC)
(note: Changing CSC will wipe all your data again except in SD card.)

Play store problem, can anyone help?

Cant contact to play store. Every time it shows No Network. While my network is okay.
I searched on Internet and followed all the tips I got. But still can't connect.

Try clearing playstore data from settings.
If still the problem exists then try using playstore via wifi it will surely work

Fully uninstall play store first...
Then install same play store as given in the rom .....
Then u r done.....
If u r stock rom u can use any play store. ......

Uninstall playstore then download the latest playstore using root explorer push the apk to system/app..... In system/app find the playstore apk that you paste long press then set permission to r-rw

What you are saying, I already did all those. But no result.
I am using creeds rom. I tried the latest version as well as old version of play store. It was good earlier. But I don't know why it suddenly behaves like that. All the time it shows No Network. But I don't have any network problem. Cause all my other apps running smoothly. Just can't connect to play store.

Maybe your rom is buggy.

I also got the same problem but mine gives "Connection Timed Out" message...
I'm on Stock ROM and i already tried all of the suggestions but it didn't work...
any suggestions more,,.??

Try deleting your google account, then setting it up again. There might be a bug there. Also, some roms have edited hosts files. This may lead to internet issues.

Tried it also AND didn't work...T_T

Guys if theres a bug in the rom try using playstore via wifi once......n the second time via ur network.It will surely work
( worked for me atleast)

Flash the correct csc for your country via odin - see dokys thread at the top of dev section for a list of stock roms and csc

Its not just in evo....
I faced it in some of our great banned roms too
And also in stock once...
I lost 1.50 rs... Everytime...
This happens when the phone messages the server for apn settings again and again....
I dont have a 100% solution for this but
Apn reset might work
Settings->Wireless-mobile data settings-apn-menu key -reset ro defaults..

Google Maps Force Closing

Hi all lately when I have been using a custom rom on my S4 is force closing Google Maps. I even did a full wipe and fresh install I am beginning to think it may be the actual App and not my phone.
I was just curious if anyone else had the same experiences as me?

Shouldn't it be cleared after a fresh install?

It won't let me until I have made the correct amount of posts! Been a long time lurker on here!
I did another complete fresh install and still no joy!
However I do get an error in recovery saying cannot open cache/recovery . log or something along those lines!

No wifi and Bluetooth on note 3!

Hi guys..my sis note 3 recently got black screen. It wouldnt turn on or charge or anything. Sent it to repair and they were taking too much money. So I change the board myself. I managed to do it quite successfully cause it is working but am not having wifi or bluetooth. For the wifi..it sees my router and the strength..but when I try to connect it doesn't connect. And sometimes it tells me fail to obtain ip. Can anybody help me plz?

I guess you factory resetted the phone after the replacement, right? If you did, remove the WIFI connection completely once more and start from anew with entering password.

No I didnt factory reset. Should I? I did remove the wifi connection lots of time and put password again. But its not connecting. Maybe I should try the factory reset. Koz anyway there's nothing on the phone. It looks like new.

I did make a factory reset after u told me. But it doesnt work directly. But I figured a way to make it work. I assigned a static ip to the device. But with other devices it connects directly. I dont understand. Should I change the rom on the device? It has 4.4.2 on it.
