Hi guys..my sis note 3 recently got black screen. It wouldnt turn on or charge or anything. Sent it to repair and they were taking too much money. So I change the board myself. I managed to do it quite successfully cause it is working but am not having wifi or bluetooth. For the wifi..it sees my router and the strength..but when I try to connect it doesn't connect. And sometimes it tells me fail to obtain ip. Can anybody help me plz?

I guess you factory resetted the phone after the replacement, right? If you did, remove the WIFI connection completely once more and start from anew with entering password.

No I didnt factory reset. Should I? I did remove the wifi connection lots of time and put password again. But its not connecting. Maybe I should try the factory reset. Koz anyway there's nothing on the phone. It looks like new.

I did make a factory reset after u told me. But it doesnt work directly. But I figured a way to make it work. I assigned a static ip to the device. But with other devices it connects directly. I dont understand. Should I change the rom on the device? It has 4.4.2 on it.

I am from Bulgaria and today i updated my Galaxy from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2 and since then i have these problem with my WiFi i can't connect to any network. i wiped the phobe, installed again, the wifi started to work, but then i turned it off during night. in the morning it turned on, but was keeping obtaining ip address and authenticating. i think im going to flash 4.1.1 an see whas happening then

no it doesn't. i' now back to 4.1.1 untill i find a probable solution to this issue. with 4.1.1 it works completely fine

I fixed the problem by copying the wifi folder from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2

Do I need a rooted phone to flash the 4.1.1 version, because i don't wan't to root the phone. It can't be fixed by changing the pass type from open system to shared key from the router settings (this works for me but no one in the house can access the network, only I can)

doesn't work. this time i flashed 4.1.2 again 3g seems to act up too it is constantly flashing up and down. maybe should wait for 4,2 update

At a friends house, the first time you connect a new device to their router you have to use the wps button, otherwise it just sticks on authenticating. After that it works fine.

for all who experiene problems with wifi after updating from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2 here is the solution:
Root your phone (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957273)
Download Root Explorer
Copy files from 4.1.1 /etc/wifi folder and overwrite over 4.1.2 /etc/wifi folder.
Youre good to go
I have an AT&T Galaxy-S4 (i337 Model) that recently stopped syncing up with my google account...
1. I tried to remove my account completely and set it up from scratch.
2. Now, I cannot sign-in at all. It gives me the message "There was a problem communicating with Google servers. Try again later."
3. Does anybody here care to tell me how to get this thing to work?
It is extremely irritating and I tried a bunch of different things but nothing has worked so far... So help would really appreciated..

I can browse using the chrome browser on the same device but when I use the play store to sign-in, I get the mentioned error...

Do a factory reset then odin back to stock and make sure you are on MDL.
Might want to check your time and date settings, having them off by too much can mess with ssl.

Why would you suggest Odin if OP is stock?
OP try clearing cache and data for Google apps and if that fails you can try a reset.

Yesterday i flashed a new rom on my n9005, and after that i can't enable my nfc. I have also tried to turn it on with secure settings but i just says that there was an error.
So I tried to restore my rom, but nfc still not working. Also tried to recover with kies, and to flash stock rom but no luck. Also tried to copy the nfcnsi.apk from another Note 3, but didn't work.
So does someone know what else i can try ?

I initially had this problem after rooting but changing the CSC code to reflect the carrier ROM I installed fixed the issue.
Enter your CSC menu: *#272*[IMEI #]#

Hi, is There any chance to install new modems without odin? I have a mac computer so I cant Flash via odin. I have tried heimdall and kies, none of them works because my Phone wont respond in the computer. Tried even With Googles file transfer.
The thing is that im a bit selective so I only found one rom that fits me, vision x II. Everything works perfect but i cant activate or use wifi. I really need my wifi cuz i have no signal at my Damn concrete apartment!

You can try do a FACTORY RESET:
- Make a Internal Memory backup
- From your home screen press the apps icon in the lower right corner.
- Find and press the settings icon.
- In the upper end of the screen press the accounts tab.
- In the bottom of the next screen press the Backup and reset button.
- Press the factory data reset.
- Read the info on your cell phone screen and hit Reset device.

If you flash any modem , make.sure it is compatible with the firmware version otherwise you will hard break you device!!.
One more thing ,,the moment you flash it ...your device will reboot to download mode , then in this point you have to hold the power button for few second till it turn off . After that turn it on , the Samsung logo will show up ....and it may take time untill it move to the mobile odin mode ,,,, just wait for the process...dont ever turn it off again otherwise you may soft break your device
Also mobile odin only work in stock kernel otherwise it will not detect your device . Thats why it won't run in custom rom that only run in its custom kernel like cm or what ever rom ... this is the disadvantage
But the advantage is that.. it will never trigger the flash counter .

Hye guys, I bought note 2 from malaysia. Been using it more than 3 month then my phone constantly freeze and one day, it brick overnight while I leave it to charge. When it turned on it just stuck on samsung logo. Hard reset is undoable as it only show "Downloading" in the recovery while in download mode it just as it is. My phone is completely stock, no root ,no flash ,nothing, just stock. So I try to flash through odin but it always fail with "no pit partition" no matter what firmware version I use, another usb port ,another computer is brought up the same result. The phone can charge fine with red light indicator and battery animation. Does anyone with the phone have the same symptom and manage to fix it?Im in uk and cant rma as my phone is malaysia only warranty from SME?

it sounds like your emmc brick... if that is the case, in my knowledge u have to change the motherboard... but maybe other members have different idea to solve your prob...

Just faund this thread..newbies here....hehe..using dn3 v5.2 + phoenix kernell v1.0 ....very smooth and no lag anymore..
