Mobileodin Pro : Won't work with Jellybean..

So far I've tried Paranoid ROM and Faryabbs ROM running JB and whenever I run Mobile Odin I get this error message. I've tried reinstalling it and wiping data under manage apps but its still a no go

Works fine for me, did you delete the flash kernel package by any chance?

+1 went back from JB AOSP to LFB using mobile odin pro succesfully

I'm using pro.. and no I've never deleted anything pertaining to Mobileodin besides the app

I'm getting the exact same error, installed Mobile Odin Pro purchased ages ago from Play, and it just pops the message up then closes down after clicking OK.
I have even tried installing the MobileODIN_FlashKernel_I9300-v3.0.apk manually in case that was the problem.
I am on WanamLite stock odexed XXDLH4

on stock jb doesn't work.

Works without any problems on CM10. In fact I flashed a new recovery using it this morning.
No surprise it doesn't work on Samsung ROM though. Buggy piece of crap. They should just resign and appoint Codeworkx as head of ROM development... LOL...

EDIT: Just found a very strange workaround, install Mobile Odin Light as well as the pro version, open the light version and it loads Pro.
Try Pro and it now appears to be working!

Pro worked for me without any work around on jb leak too

Removing demo ROM?

Hey guys.
I have got a demo unit of an s4 I9505 and it's a "live demo" unit that has a Samsung demo ROM on it that has disabled the SIM card slot. Do you know of anyway I can remove all the software and flash a ROM and have it working as a normal handset?
I tried installing a ROM via CWM after I rooted it but it said complete but didn't change anything. Also I'm CWM it doesn't have the option to flash from internal SD card, only external. Have Samsung removed some core files in this Rom maybe? I'm rooted but in superSU it also says "no binary found, this is a problem"
Any help would be great!

Hi,
Look HERE

Is it an i9505 or an i9505x? If it has the "x", you won't be able to make phone calls even if you root it successfully.

I saw that but got stuck at the "unpack roms" bit. I never use Odin I always use CWM so I just flash zips. Can you shed any light on how to get the file I need to select in pda?

Basically, it's a whole different unit than the i9505, and I also think I read somewhere it has different hardware too (it lacks a mobile network antenna IIRC but I'm not sure about that). Sorry, this is bad news for you I'm afraid...

It's possible Fox Hound hasn't worked properly for your device, try flashing back to Stock then trying FH again see if it works.

Wifi problem

Hi, is There any chance to install new modems without odin? I have a mac computer so I cant Flash via odin. I have tried heimdall and kies, none of them works because my Phone wont respond in the computer. Tried even With Googles file transfer.
The thing is that im a bit selective so I only found one rom that fits me, vision x II. Everything works perfect but i cant activate or use wifi. I really need my wifi cuz i have no signal at my Damn concrete apartment!

You can try do a FACTORY RESET:
- Make a Internal Memory backup
- From your home screen press the apps icon in the lower right corner.
- Find and press the settings icon.
- In the upper end of the screen press the accounts tab.
- In the bottom of the next screen press the Backup and reset button.
- Press the factory data reset.
- Read the info on your cell phone screen and hit Reset device.

You can use "mobile Odin Pro" to flash full firmware , kernels , modems , recoveries and more. ..

If you flash any modem , make.sure it is compatible with the firmware version otherwise you will hard break you device!!.
One more thing ,,the moment you flash it ...your device will reboot to download mode , then in this point you have to hold the power button for few second till it turn off . After that turn it on , the Samsung logo will show up ....and it may take time untill it move to the mobile odin mode ,,,, just wait for the process...dont ever turn it off again otherwise you may soft break your device
Also mobile odin only work in stock kernel otherwise it will not detect your device . Thats why it won't run in custom rom that only run in its custom kernel like cm or what ever rom ... this is the disadvantage
But the advantage is that.. it will never trigger the flash counter .

Hye guys, I bought note 2 from malaysia. Been using it more than 3 month then my phone constantly freeze and one day, it brick overnight while I leave it to charge. When it turned on it just stuck on samsung logo. Hard reset is undoable as it only show "Downloading" in the recovery while in download mode it just as it is. My phone is completely stock, no root ,no flash ,nothing, just stock. So I try to flash through odin but it always fail with "no pit partition" no matter what firmware version I use, another usb port ,another computer is brought up the same result. The phone can charge fine with red light indicator and battery animation. Does anyone with the phone have the same symptom and manage to fix it?Im in uk and cant rma as my phone is malaysia only warranty from SME?

it sounds like your emmc brick... if that is the case, in my knowledge u have to change the motherboard... but maybe other members have different idea to solve your prob...

Hi,
I try to root my note 2 N7100XXUFND4 using Odin v3.09. I follow all the instructions but my phone still not root ( I checked using root checker and I got this popup said superuser stop working). I'm a newbie can someone show me how to root my phone.
