Is the N10 in the UK different than the one in the USA in any way? Wifi systems etc?

I live in the USA and have a T-mobile account. I was waiting patiently for a new phone that sports 3g AND UMA but it seems that all the new devices I am aware of apparently dont have the uma (which is a must for my billing purposes!)
What if I was to get my hands on a Touch3g and unlock it? Can it be programmed to work on tmobile-us's uma network? how about the 3g? It looks like it has ALL frequencies from the wiki page, does it actually come capable of everything, or do different operator phones have different freq's available?
I currently use an unlocked att tilt (aka kaiser) which does not support tmobile's 3g network (att is on different freq's), and doesn't have uma. I am familiar with modding/unlocking/upgrading the roms (with downloads, I cant do my own programming) but I really need a decent phone with uma support. Also, what could I expect to pay for one of these in good condition? Do they come with different keyboards from different areas (I once had a german device, and it took a long time for me to fix the keyboard buttons to do what they said!!!)
Thanks for all your help!
Hey guys.
I'm wondering if it's possible to buy a Leo in Japan and use it here in Denmark?
I'm planning to use it with the company 3. They usually run on a 3G network but can operate on the GSM network to.
Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I'm currently in Hong Kong and will be here fairly frequently over the next year or so. I have an LG G2 (UK version - D802) and I'm on an All-you-can-eat contract with Three back in the UK.
I'm planned to use the Feel at Home element of the contract here in Hong Kong as its listed as being one of the compatible countries and now that I'm here my phone connects to the Three network fine but it will always connect as 2G or 3G... When I specifically search out the Three 4G network it comes up with an error saying "Unable to connect to this network at this time, please try again later" when I try to connect. Form what I can tell the 4G frequency used in Hong Kong is one that I should be able to pick up on the D802 so I'm not sure whats wrong. Any ideas? I was able to pick up a 4G signal in the US when I tried there.
Newbie new relating to cell phone firmware flashing.
I have 2 refurbished phones which I purchased. One SM-G900T (tMobile) and a SM-G900W8 (Rogers).
Both which are going onto the rogers network.
Is it possible to flash the rogers SM-G900W8 firmware onto the SM-G900T?
Reasons:
Going to use the Rogers Cellular network for both phones,
A lot of tMobile 3rd party bloatware
tMobile apps which I can't disable (such as tMobile Account which looks to have god access on the phone)
Strange t-mobile hot spot functionality (not sure if this is a issue as haven't tested yet),
concerns over a US phone company having access to a phone in Canada (ie. Recent lack of privacy relating to non US citizens with data stored on US servers)
Concerns that US Cell phone regulations could effect phone use within Canada
Thanks for any feed back
Paul
I'm based in the UK, and have just bought a used Note 4. I notice that it is a US model, however (SM-N910A) - with AT&T apps installed. Will this phone work correctly on UK 3G and 4G networks?
There's no Mobile Data option available in the quick settings dropdown. Does this mean that my phone is not compatible with UK data networks?
