I Connect my mobile to PC through USB cable (I have kept USB debugging on).
I Copy the zip file to external memory
I Disconnect my phone from PC.
I get into the recovery mode by pressing & holding volume up + power button + home button simultaneously until I get into recovery mode.
Then I select update from SD card and I find the error "E:failed to mount /sdcard (No such file or directory) E:Can't mount /sdcard"

Flash cwm recovery again from fastboot.
Download the right stock rom for your device from here.
Go mounts&storage, format everything there.
Go back and choose wipe > wipe dalvik cache.
Copy the rom to your sdcard via mounts&storage > mount usb storage, make sure that /mount sdcard is active (also in mounts&storage). Unmount.
Install zip from sdcard, choose the rom you just copied.
Restart, done.

I have the same problem and I followed the instructions on page 1 of the Jellyblast ROM exactly, also this one. After that I tried different ways with different CWM, choose an older version of the rom, reinstall Kuro Kernel after flashing Rom, delete second partition (ext2)... But I always get the bootloop.
Edit:
Solved: I made a stupid mistake. I chose on the download page the Update 5, because i thought it's the full ROM with update 5. Because of the green colour of the ROM download link, i didn't recognize that it's a link.
i have a samsung galaxy y (gt 5360), and
its updated to android 4.1(not officially-using jellyblast 3.0.3 rom)
Then i rooted it and i was
messing around with the
awesome power of root. now im trying to get a
different rom, and when i go to
recovery mode, i cant flash zip files, it always gives an error message"can't mount /sdcard (No such file or directory)".
But when i reboot the system i can mount sd card and can browse all files in sd card.
Does anyone know how to fix
this recovery problem??? PLEASE HELP?!!

If mounting your SD card or changing your SD card won't work, Try my Steps on flashing a new firmware:
1. Firstly, download/choose a firmware from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1465800
2. Once your download has finished, download Odin 1.85 from here: forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=581913
3. If you have installed Samsung Kies, stop it, also for adb sessions
4. Open Odin 1.85
5. Boot to download mode, make sure its shut down (Vol. Down + Home Button + Power Button)
6. When in download mode already, press Vol. Up button
7. Now, connect your phone to your pc, when Odin detects your phone you can now press the start button
8. Wait for installation to complete, it will reboot automatically,
9. When successfully booted, your done!
10. Enjoy! your newly fixed phone...
Above instructions are not fully detailed(COMPLETE), but it will work

Is this rom for stock?
What is OTA updates for?
How to install the ROM? Anyone can teach?
Thanks You
To answer your questions
It replaces stock rom - you overwrite stock rom with a custom rom
OTA - over the air - updates system apps & may contain bug fixes
How to install
Enter cwm (if you don't know what this is there are plenty of guides search)
Wipe data & system
Mount system
Install zip from sd card
Select zip
Restart
This is the process for any flashable zip file except with updates you don't wipe data or system
You need to root your phone before you Flash a custom rom - again there are plenty of guides for rooting

Using SavieKernel..
So Mount the /System, /data, /cache before installation
So I was going to flash a new ROM, so I booted philz recovery and did a clean wipe to install new ROM. Then I realized that I forgot to download the ROM first! So now I can't do anything with the phone! I tried to flash stock through Odin but it says "there is no PIT partition" I Googled about it and found that I had to flash the PIT file with the firmware and check re-partition. I did all that and it still doesn't work :crying:
What is there to do now? I tried everything. Pls help

Sounds similar to what I did to mine, I tried to flash through Odin and I got the PIT error.
People say you need to flash the PIT file with the Rom, but when I did it like that, it never worked. I just kept on getting the PIT error. How I got it to work was just select the PIT file on it's own, don't flash the firmware with it, click Re-Partition from within Odin and start. It'll say something along the lines of Success - Rebooting, then you need to get back into Download mode. From there, just flash the stock firmware and you'll be good to go.
It might not work for everyone, but that's how I managed to get mine back from being soft bricked.
You need to install the drivers first. This is the guide I used http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sour...uoGICw&usg=AFQjCNHqh3z8LRrjALHzds5NP7v_WKctLw Hope this helps

Pls help

Boot into recovery (Philz, right?), go to Mounts and Storage, select Mount USB Storage, connect phone to PC, paste rom into SD and done. You're ready to flash again.
