Dude i know there are severak threads full of lengthy discussions..dont wanna read all the stuff..here we just want to know the countries where 2.3.3 availability is confirmed, if u can add something we will appreciate, thanks!!
If u still wanna blame me plz send PM
sent from Xperia Arc
The update for Hong Kong is only rolled out for particular device, which is unbranded retail device. For those device bought from operator such as 3HK, the ota update is not yet available until early June since the firmware for branded devices need the operator to approve those preinstalled application. My xperia arc was bought from 3HK so it is still checked as most update using pc companion software. Anyway I by need those operator Apps so I have go for the Hong Kong retail version firmware,. Although it still contain some junk software that I don't need. Flashing the firmware. Using flashtool is just so easy and even no need to unlock the. Bootloader which could void the warranty.

That particular thread is meant for listing the countries (as well as brand and build number) for the 2.3.3 update. No lengthy discussions there.
PS: It just got released for certain Singapore sets.

Re: [STOCK ROM] Xperia Z (C6603) v4.1.2, 10.1.A.1.350 Generic DE (Unbranded)
Will it root without unlocking the boot loader?!!!! I'm getting my Xperia Z this week and I'm sure going to flash this
Sent from my LT18i using xda app-developers app
No, this is a "stock ROM", which is the official firmware that comes with the phone or that is flashed through Sony Update Service or PC Companion. In this case, it is the unbranded German version, which is useful for people who have a branded phone and want to get rid of the branding. It is not rooted by default!

I see that you are from the UK, so if you're looking for an unbranded firmware, I'd recommend this one.
Thats not black, its again the grey one
Excuse me if this is the wrong place to ask this but, what exactly does unbranded mean? what exactly does it change?
Thank you for uploading this Stock ROM!
People who buy their phone through a mobile operator often have a branded version. This means that the phone comes with pre-installed settings, apps, themes, ringtones, etc. for that specific carrier. Most of the time, those customizations cannot be removed. Those people can download and flash this stock ROM to get an unbranded, generic firmware on their phone.
Bravia, DMR Keys
Hallo everyone,
when i flash with this rom, i lost the Bravia and DMR Keys or not?

I have c6602... Flashing this, will i get the 4g radio option in settings?
I bought the phone while i was on a trip, and didn't even know there was a 3g only model that i got in the end. :/. My provider has c6603 in it's shop, so 4g should work for mine?
Nope, the hardware of model C6602 supports more 3G bands (1700 MHz and 1900 MHz, in addition to the 850 MHz, 900 MHz and 2100 MHz bands of the C6603), but it does not support 4G (LTE). However, if your operator supports HSPA+ (sometimes marketed as "3G+"),your mobile internet should be quite fast already.

anyone flashed this and got nfc broken?
Download link is down. Can somebody make a new one?
Thx
Not true. The links are still up.
However, I'd advise you to wait for version 10.1.A.1.434, which is currently being rolled out.
used this Stock ROM to remove T-Mobile branding without problems.
was anyone able to update via pc companion or OTA to .434 yet? this update should be already rolled out for germany.
The customization number can be useful to correctly specify the branding when making FTF files with Flashtool, to identify FTF files if the branding has not been (correctly) specified by the uploader and to download a different firmware customization with Sony PC Companion.
The list is sorted by customization number. Look up customization numbers or country easily by pressing Ctrl-F (Windows/Linux) or Command-F (Mac).
Branding: carrier name or "Generic" for unbranded devices, followed by the ISO code of the country. Enter this into the "Branding" field when creating an FTF file with Flashtool.
Cust. no.: customization number, can be found in your service menu (dial *#*#7378423#*#* > 'Service info' > 'Software info' > 'Customization Version'). Will change if you flash a different customization.
SI number: Sales Item, can be found on your box and perhaps on your receipt, but not on your phone. There are multiple SI numbers with the same customization, because every color has its own SI number.

Wish someone like you does this for S20 Ultra G988B, since i have a limited quota internet, so saving 6GB would be very nice.

I know that. I Flashed two days ago a completely New DBT firmware (using frija + odin). Aparently, I did something wrong... because I just checked my Phone and now it is XEF/XEF/XEF/ZTO (since im from Brazil).
I dont want to change The main subject of your thread, but I guess I should've removed The simcard before The flashing process, right?
Btw, Thanks for letting us know about The most recent updates

You mean The entire firmware (DBT)? Because, As I stated before, I did download the DBT firmware using Frija and after The procedure (somehow) my Phone became XEF.
