You have to reboot after and the nav bar is gone. Awesome with lmt launcher
Sorry I'm drunk but install the app and select disable it won't do anything but reboot and Navy bar gone
Side note anyone flames this thread your a fag let the guy ask a question. Its faster to ask then read 1000 pages. Yes this has been discussed many times but who cares.
Your the best thanks man! And cheers

Hi there
Is there anyway to move the Nav bar to the top? I currently have my DPI at 175, running stock. I've tried looking at features and reviews of certain Roms, but nothing showing or telling me what I need to know.
So could anybody tell me if nav bar can be moved to the top of the screen? Preferably using stock? If not, which rom will allow me to do this? Also modding the icons would be awesome. Ie changing battery icon, etc. It says in ROM toolbox lite that I can change it, but it doesn't let me?
Any ideas or tips would be awesome.
Thanx in advance. Sorry for the noobness and for bringing up a post like this if there's one of these already

Actually never mind.
I just read abit more in the forums and found an app GMD gesture to just hide the nav bar instead of trying to move the nav bar to the top.
Either keep topic here for others who might find the idea useful, otherwise just delete
Cheers

I guess this is a question for anyone who my know the answer from owning the first gen and I know its going to require root and likely a custom ROM.
So in landscape has anyone seen an option to have the nav bar on the sides and not located on the bottom? I find it awkward to use the nav buttons in landscape. I guess pie controls would fix this, but I like nav bar better.

Yeah you're right, will need root or custom rom. Does lmt need root? I forget
Hi! I'm running the latest paranoid Android and i was wondering if hiding the navbar on the lockscreen only was possible. I looked all over the internet and couldnt find any information. Could anyone help me please?
I apologize in advance, since I'm not that familiar with PA...
On Carbon I have a thing called "Transparency Settings" wich regulate transparency for navbar and statusbar, with separate settings for lockscreen. You might just have something like it.
edit: Okay if you mean the black bar is showing, even with the buttons, it's a strange behavior with Android hopefully Google will fix it. The only way I know of is to set the phone in expanded mode, sorry.
Thank you for responding! It's OK i can live without this feature...

You can install a app from playstore that is adding a nav bar like that. There are some apps for this.
But why when you have real buttons on the honor9 ?

Hello,
What is the name of this application please?
Because for me it is impossible to show a navigation bar without having a rooted device and even less with a Rom Stock.
I am interested if you have the solution.
Thanks in advance.

Search for "button remap" on google playstore. You will find some of these apps.
Hi All,
Receiving my Note tomorrow. For anyone that's already got it, does XDA navigation app successfully remove the nav bar?
Thanks

Yes.
Does anyone know how to move the bottom dock in Nova Launcher so the pill button isn't on top of it?
The xda gesture bar has some problem if you're not root your device. Firstly you have to adb command to set a dark mod to your original gesture bar. Then the app will do the job instead it. The problem I got is the screen actual pixel ware changed, that you probably not noticed till start a game session. on screen touch pad are not responding as same as before. I got a even taller device ....
