What tutorial did you use,
and after which step did the white screen appear?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12431253&postcount=4 ..this guide and and after i installed the rom ( install.zip in cwm) i did a reboot and now only thing i get is a white screen with htc logo
it was the final booting, first one but Leo stopped on white screen....
bootloader is working
You can't enter the MAGLDR menu? Also, if bootloader is working, you could task 29, or even flash back to a stock ROM and start afresh.
I recently tried to load Magldr 1.13 and it finished loading but when the phone restarted it got stuck on the "Stick Together" screen. I tried to restart while holding the Volume Down and and Power button and also the Volume Down and Volume Up buttons but the bootloader doesn't load at all..Is there anyway to fix this?
You only need to hold down the volume down button in order to enter bootloader. Also please be sure your volume down button is working.
I tried to hold the volume down button..i'm sure my volume down button is working..but how do you know for sure?
Well from what I am reading you are unable to get to the magldr screen so it is difficult to tell if the volume down button is in fact working. Also before installing magldr did you perform a task29?

No I didnt perform a task29..before this rom I was running Android on it..then i did a hard reset which restored it back to Windows 6.5..Then I tried to run the magldr and the screen just got stuck after I ran the 1.13...I remember the screen asking me if I wanted to move from a version 3.14 to a 2.0 or something like that..Did that have anything to do with it?
Well after installing windows and before going back to magldr you needed to perform a task 29 to delete windows from the phone. Windows may still be on the phone and you may be able to force it into boot loader if it is able to connect to activesync. It has been a while since I have done it that way so I don't recall how.

It can still go to activesync if the phone doesnt get past "Stick Together" ???
I doubt that it will but it doesn't hurt to try. And if activesync does connect then you should be able to reinstall windows rom if i remember right.

Then I am lost because I do not see any other way to get into the bootloader, but I will try to search.

i think you have probably flashed the wrong radio !!! :O !!
just try flashing a stable compatible radio !!
here is the link for radios : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611787
you can flash the radios using nbh installer,
or hd2 toolkit
or put the radio on the memory card, rename it to LEOIMG.nbh and go to the bootloader screen and flash it from there !!
!!
good luck ....

If your volume buttons are broke you definitely should switch to cLK with touch recovery and you'll never have to worry about it again since you use the home button long press while rebooting to go into recovery, and in cLK you can use quick boot app or rom manager or power menu to reboot into recovery. Is super easy to install with the hd2 toolkit.

Only works under winmo, requires winmo drivers to be active, which isn't the case when android is running.
@op, your solution is to fix the volume keys.

can they be hard wired ?
Sorry, no clue, never had one apart. Perhaps you could dismantle it, make the connection long enough to flash? Be warned though, many people end up breaking more, the hd2 is not easy to take apart without damage.
Well the touch recovry works with magldr too, you don't meed clk for that, but you still won't be able to use recovery.
Have you tried the htc hd2 nand toolkit? i think i heard it has an "express mode" where it install everything without you doing anything, so maybe you won't need the buttons?!
Worth a try i'm guessing.
Good luck

my bad, thats not what i meant, sorry. i meant the touch recovery works on magldr too, you don't need clk to get touch-recovery, but you won't be able to get past magldr itself in order to get to recover (sorry, english isn't my primary language, i hope you know what i mean). have you tried the nand toolkit?

Yes and no! You can use Rom manager to boot into recovery but not into bootloader since it doesn't have an android bootloader Rom manager won't find it. If you were able to rigg the buttons while the phone is apart, I suggest make sure you have plenty of battery and reboot while pressing the volume down and when you see the tricolor screen, keep it there, plug it into the pc and open the hd2 toolkit and install cLK and then I would suggest to put the touch recovery img file into the toolkit so you can flash it while setting it up, there should be instructions in the touch recovery thread on how to add the recovery.img to the toolkit.

Hello
I just flashed CLK on my hd2 using the toolkit, I also flashed the toolkit recovery (which i believe was v 4.3)
Now when I try to boot to recovery using Home + red buttons I get this error in the middle of the command lines
"ERROR: CANNOT READ RECOVERY_HEADER"
I tried to wipe all and reflash everything again but I keep getting the same error.
I looked everywhere but can't find any answer.
Is there any other way I can install a new ROM without accessing the CWM? like using the command prompt.
I also attached a screenshot of the error.
Any help would be very much appreciate it. and Please if there is a solution please show the steps for it cuz I am still new with CLK.
The latest stable version of clk is v1.5 which also installs a version of cwm , there is even one that installs twrp recovery too!

What version of hspl do you have installed?
If it's hspl 2.08 or hspl 3.03 try this,
first do a task29 using the toolkit
Then place the LEOIMG.nbh file on the root of your sdcard.
Now power on the device while holding the volume down button.
When asked to proceed with install push the power button..
This should install clk 1.5 with a default partition size which you can change from within clk later!
Let me know if it works.

I did task29 then downloaded the rom file from t-mobile webisite then put phone on multicolored with usb debugging and ran the file on my computer.
I actually had this phone for almost 3 years now and I flashed about 4 different versions of android but i was using mgldr.
the phone was doing great with me but about 4 days I wanted to go to recovery to back up the phone I got "1E FATAL HIT 1"
I read that some one had the same issue and they switched to clk and it worked fine, and someone flashed stock rom then custom and it worked.
but nothing is working with me, I have 2.08 hspl and I've been using that for a long time, I tried 3 sdcards using both ways of flashing (toolkit and putting LEOIMG file in the sdcard) but it failed in all of them.
PS: thank you for the thank though I have been here since I got the phone and never got one thanks haha.

I have asked you what it says on the multicolored screen a few times.
Pic please?
Flashing stock rom should do the trick as regards verifying that it's not a hardware problem, but it will have wiped your hspl!
So to install clk v1.5, you will have to re-flash hspl 2.08 (no zeros after the 8) or hspl 3.03!

OK, I would not give up yet.
Re-install hspl and this time select "3.03", then task 29 and try to reinstall clk 1.5...
Edit: If the last thing you did was install stock it won't work with hspl installed,
It should say something like..SPL-2.08.0000, use the hspl 3.03 package to downgrade to this spl version and then install stock from pc as normal (MAKE SURE you are using the correct stock rom for your phone) or as I said, try the above...

I am getting really frustrated now!
for clk:
I upgraded the hspl to 3.03, then installed clk 1.5. UNFORTUNATELY I am still getting the same message when I boot into recovery.
for stock rom: (I got it from t-mobile website which is the right one for my phone)
after failing to install clk, I FIRST downgraded the hspl to SPL 3.03.0000 and tried to flash the stock rom but the percentage bar doesn't even move. So I decided to try it with 2.08.0000 but the same thing happens. This doesn't happen when I have 3.03.HSPL or 2.08.HSPL, it actually loads when I have the hspl but then when it is done, I get stuck in "stick together" screen.

Yes i know about that. This will be about installing android with clk on your hd2:
(I assume only your green call button is not working)
1- Download clk from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?nhyausx0p5whu#tzg7whl9wwaih . go to compiled test versions, and download one of the latest ones (black_lk_20130314-Ex-TWRP.......zip). This is black clk that comes with twrp recovery preinstalled.
2-install it like any other nbh file (via hd2 toolkit is the easiest)
3-once done, go to recovery by holding back button after booting, using vol up/dn buttons to navigate and menu key to open recovery
4-copy a rom to your sd card and flash it via recovery.
5-Enjoy

What about the partitions?
He still needs to go to clk's settings and select options there using the call button.
Maybe, JUST maybe he can use fastboot to resize partitions?
I know that that's possible in earlier original cLK versions, but not sure about the new ones.
You can use the ToolKit to repartition cLK, then install a touch recovery, but I am not sure if that's gonna work.

Regarding partitions, in black clk (the one in the link i gave) you can use windows button instead of green button even in partition resize menu (i just tested it ) (I think windows button acts exactly as the green button so it's like a replacement)
fastboot is also possible as stated in the info menu in clk
(
fastboot oem part-resize name:size
=>Resize partition with given name to new size in MB
)
Hopefully You succeed
And Hopefully you Don't encounter any problems in roms because of the green button
btw:
If you don't know what partition size to use; it's definitely mentionned at the rom's thread
I prefer making a 390MB system partition and using DATAonEXT as it gives me 3gb internal storage (because i have a 3gb ext partition on my sd)
Thanks alot Gilbert.
