https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chrome.beta
Nexus 4 (Android 4.2.1)
Stock 1533.9ms
Chrome 1845.5ms
Chrome (Beta) 1306.6ms
Chrome beta make the phone noticeably hotter by making use more of the gpu and cpu, so those results are normal.
The other problem with chrome beta is website arrangements, some websites are arranged wrongly. Especially forums that lacks fixed width mode.
Noticeable lags when making screen re-composition like open new tab page, go to bookmark and switching tabs in tablet mode.

My Galaxy Nexus at 1.5Ghz with the stock browser of Android 4.2.2 gets 965ms on sunspider....
That's just a simpel 1.5Ghz dual core! (running at stock voltage)
stock browser : 1018ms
chrome stable : 1200ms
chrome beta : 860ms
on note2 BTW
but the stock aosp browser still smoother , chrome beta is faster though
Chrome does not render pages correctly. Dolphin is much better..
BTW.. 1194ms in Dolphin. Stock MR2.

It has the same CPU as the S3, so it'll perform the same minus some difference due to the memory speed. All JavaScript benchmarks are exclusively single-threaded, so unless there's some rendering going on at the same time, anything more than one core won't be used.

I kinda like XScope. You can easily theme it. And it isn't too boring.
I would try the free version first. The Pro version is a little funky on ICS. Ran great on Honeycomb...

It doesn't look optimized for tabs

I think Opera works best
Been using Google Chrome Beta on mine, pretty impressed with it.
Have since installed it on my GS2
Take Opera Mobile
Chrome Beta is nice but for me i miss the flash support...
IMHO nothing works better on a tab than ICS browser+...... why didn't you like it?
I've been using Opera, has been the best for me, after trying stock, firefox, dolphin.
I use Chrome beta, just for the fact that I can sync my bookmarks. I'd probably still be using stock if it worked there. I used to use Dolphin's Pad beta but once Chrome came out, it was an obvious choice.
The stock browser is pretty fast in 4.0.4 on my Galaxy Nexus, so when I get that on my A500 I'll try it out and see how it goes.
Overskreen. Allows you to have a tab open above an app.

+1 on this, ICS Browser + rocks! In fact, I just reviewed it on tablified.com, here's the link: http://www.tablified.com/reviews/ics-browser-simply-amazing/
I can't try Chrome because I live outside of the US, I know I can probably just find the apk somewhere, but ICS Browser+ is already enough for my needs and right now, I'd rather have flash support than not, although that might change soon...
Used to use Dolphin but it felt really clunky to me, and well, the stock browser on both HC and ICS never really cut it for me.

i too have tried many like FF, Google Chrome, Dolphine but ICS+ is the best and the customize options are great

I think Boat browser is the best for me so far.
I liked Dolphin Tablet but it started to crash and it didn't seem as if they were releasing updates for it much. I went to Chrome. It was ok. I am now using Dolphin HD. Its amazing and I have no problems so far. Very stable. It also has soo many plugins. I suggest Dolphin HD.
boat browser update
Just did a boat browser update yesterday and it is now very laggy, wish I could un update the update.
I had trouble with the default browser downloading files. Sometimes it would just hang, other times I'd get blank files. And it just seemed sluggish to me. This was, admittedly, while running a stock Acer rom, though.
I played around with Chrome when it hit, but I ran into some problems with SwiftKey, and even now on a custom ROM, it gives me blank white pages with no content far to often to not annoy me.
I also kicked around Dolphin some. It just never satisfied me.
I finally happened by Aurora - Firefox's alpha channel - and I am more than pleased with it. It's yet to crash on me, it has the must-have addons - like AdBlock - available, as well as UserAgent changers - as I prefer desktop sites only. It's fast, and it's been optimized for a tablet layout. I've been running it exclusively since discovering it and I haven't had a single moment where I debated going back to Browser.
Hi I have been using the Maxthon HD browser with the RE-FLEXxx Rom and find it works better for me than the others (I tried all of them)
Ran RL Benchmark and Androbench - Is it just me or do these numbers not make a lot of sense? They seem downright horrific or am I misinterpreting?
It would seem that there is virtually no significant improvement in performance with Jellybean as far as I can see. At least on these tests.
For Reference and pre-jellybean comparsion consult this article from Android Police:

Wtf indeed. Will re-run.
Edit: Getting same basic results the second time.
Wait a minute - something's fishy here - your results don't look the same as mine - mine say "This Device" but yours says "Your Device" - so if you are legitimately running the same test and version, why is your result chart phrased differently? In fact, the entire diagram is different, color code, bar width, everything. In fact, my results actually say RL Benchmark in the upper right - yours doesn't.
Pretty lame if intentional

I don't think "Project Butter" is fully included in CM10 roms.
Wait for a official release before doing benches. Its like trying to bench a Full version with a Beta. Not the same

There's an IO discussion going on in the TF700 forum and whether JB will make things signficantly better. Here's a chart showing how the TF300 (post-JB) stacks up against the Note 10.1 and a Teg3 One X based on their respective AndroBench scores. The Note and One X are both stock running 4.0.4. Thought you might find it interesting.

Dolphin browser is one of the minimal theme browser which has become a favorite. Its gesture based web surfing makes browsing fast and easy. Make gestures and the browser understands which page to render. It also has voice based web searching feature. Some of the important features which makes this browser different from the rest are: Webzine (Fast Web page loading, with no ads), Speed dial, sidebars and interesting add-ons.

In my daily use, it is even better than 4.2 and 4.3...
Games runs more smooth and without any lag,
But remember, its an alpha build (CyanogenMoD features wasn't ported yet) and it haves bugs and graphical glitches...
Benchmarking, I got 10058 points (versus 6880 in Stock 4.1.2)
Press thanks button if you liked the video
Hopefully p5110 version will be released soon
Screencast?
Thanks for the video! Does inbuilt screencast work on this KitKat Rom?
Cm 11 is cool, hope Cody can fixed the orientation glitch and Screenshot bug also BBM blackscreen..beside that this ROM was great
Errors found on the early build of CyanogenMod 11 on the Tab 2 7"

2. Screen rotation bug
3. @Narciso Neto , when i play 3d games like Modern combat 4, I get lags which is very unlikely on CyanogenMod 10.2 ...can you please tell me how you got it to run smooth.....
Other than that KitKat is Very Very VERY AWESOME!!!!!! UI is DARN SMOOTH but gaming performance........that is where it lacks i guess.....but really do hope they fix this

1. This error shows up in every app that uses browser interface (Instagram like page, GNow, BBM etc), there must be and error with rendering but it should be fixed
2. Should be fixed also (not a big deal)
3. I never palyed MC4 on my tab, but less-hardcore games like GTA III, ShadowGun Deadzone, Dead Trigger got and improvement on perfomance...
KitKat drivers for our GPU (PowerVR) isn't out, and maybe never be released, but I think gaming will be improved also, and get even better than JB's

OK so here's the thing. Let's All share which browser u use and rate it comparing two factors -

2. Low data consumption
Also Your favorite unique feature of it
That way ppl can decide which browser is recommended for the required purpose

Data consumption is low

no it dosn't firefox is smooth on my y duos stock no scripts and an other reason for geting firefox is that its full of addons and support and a decent download speed and it uses its own internet script like the internet bug on my xdous the only browser that worked is firefox and if it was slow which can never happen you can flash a oc kernel install a script and you will be ok
sorry if i was mean to you you are a great developer/porter
