I´ve looked in the wrong sections...
I see in the name of many ROMS the word mako .I tried to google it but didnt find anything... so could you tell me what mako mean?
Mako is a fish. All the nexus devices are called according to some kind of fish.

I think mako is just referring to the shark. It's just the name that this phone got. Just like the device that is manta (ray) and so forth.

It's a codename used by Google. Like all devices, prior to official release, they are given 'codenames' (nicknames). The actual name is thought out shortly before the product is publicly available.

Less flashing and rebooting.
MultiRom exists for quite a while in geenral:

Ubuntu corrupts my backups, so I can't easily switch between Ubuntu and android roms with out completely starting from scratch. Duel boot would solve this.

Question answered thread closed
Hi,
I just wanted to know that if anyone working on implementing f2fs into Nexus S device.
It could extend this unit life until 2015...
Regards.
Are you saying that my Nexus S will die before 2015 without F2FS?
This can improve performance on our device but sadly on our development forum we don't have anymore active rom and kernel devs to do that

It makes the read/write a bit faster than ext4 (as per my understanding), but so far it's not widely adopted and requires both ROM and kernel support.. This is the main hurdle for our device as development is dwindling..

We could beg Legolas from the nexus 7 forum to add the nexus s to his f2fs rom converter. His app supports nexus 4, 5 and 7.

Well i agree with that accept maybe a functional LTE, but like i said i don't need it. Will probably wait to be the second tester
Anything is possible, but by time a Dev has taken the time to port it over it would be more trouble for them then its worth.

No, the developer preview does a device name check before it will install. If you tried it would give you an error about wrong device.
