Is there a chance to get informations about the GPS-Chip of LGs Nexus 4? A-GPS isn´t as much information as it could. Any infos if GLONASS is used?
Did LG make good GPS-Chips? are they reliable?
Sry, if this has benn posted before, but the search didn´t gave me an idea....

It doesn't seem like there's one available. Would there be any interest in me porting the kernel I made for the 7 over?
Or is there already a CM9 overclock kernel I'm not seeing?

Yes please, we need it ! How much do you think it can go up ? 1,4 GHz ? and can you also OC the GPU and RAM which are also a little slow ?
Heck yes there is interest. I would love one and I know other 10 users would too. I think the issue with most here is that they've grown quiet and worried there won't be anymore development.

Well I never said I was going to do it :/
Not crazy about building a kernel for 4 people, but I guess Ill have a go at it.

There's more than 4 people interested; like I said you won't find very many people being vocal here.
Good luck if you do.

Already finished. Few driver differences. Tweaks here and there. Code differences.
Should be posted shortly. No clue if it works or not though.
Thanks. Will definitely help decide me to CM9 ;0

Wishing to return my Nexus 4 in factory conditions, I visited the Google site that allows to download Nexus factory roms, and Nexus 4 one is no longer available...
I think the idea of "out of stock" feels less truth and that the problem must lie elsewhere ... no ?
Why would factory rom been removed from the site? (although many terminals have been sold ...)
My question is not to find the rom, I had downloaded as soon it becomes available on the site ... and have it on my PC.
Is the fact that it has been withdrawn bothers me ...
No one knows why.
Yes i think it's very strange........ and not portend good things for the future of the Nexus 4 ...
Could you please upload it and share it here? If not, PM me perhaps?

Can anyone verify anything about this? Nothing in the US so far but I assume that's because if it's really legit they want to test on a smaller market before upsetting more users if something goes wrong.

From all that's reported on this so far it is only a test build and not an official release.

reported is a strong word. they are just reposting the same information over and over. nothing new. even if it is a test build it could have useful information and we need someone to do a system dump or something.
I'd love to get my hands on that .44 baseband
There are several threads on this already ...

Yeah sorry about that. I couldn't perform a search to see if threads containing 4.2.2 existed. Doesn't seem to be an option anywhere for me to kill the thread either.

One of the links in one of the other threads on this that I read reported that 1000 test units were built in a factory in Brazil with 4.2.2 as they will soon be making the Nexus 4's there. They only other reported device was 1 in Malaysia and it was suspected to be a prototype as it was a 16GB model and only 8 GB models were sold there.

I thought this was a hardware issue? Something like it wasn't capable of sending enough/any? power to the device?

Less flashing and rebooting.
MultiRom exists for quite a while in geenral:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1304656
Ubuntu corrupts my backups, so I can't easily switch between Ubuntu and android roms with out completely starting from scratch. Duel boot would solve this.
