Hi! I'm using HUAWEI u8800pro, atm have 4.0.3 version, and i wanted to update it to 4.1.2, so i readed i need to do superroot acc, so i did that with oneclick, then i needed backup copy, so i downloaded Root Explorer (i guess that was the one, in which i entered folder "image" and changed "recover" to "recover_backup"). After i changed, i did restart to pink screen, then connected phone to pc - but my win 7 couldnt found drivers for phone. So i tried meny of drivers, all i could got is that, in Device manager i dont see error message for driver error.
1. In my computer i can't see my phone through pink screen;
2. I cant get into recovery mode or even turn my phone on, it shows error: "Image signature verify fail! Your boot/recovery image may have an incorrect signature. Please Update your image to a signature official one. You can remove battery for power down.
Thanks
Update to official ICS then root it with pikas instructions, unlock pinkscreen get recovery 6.0.1.5 through pinkscreen and then flash the ROM.

I deleted all in my sd card, put there dlload map from setp 1, but when i try to push both vol buttons + power, it again jumps into pink screen, when i push only one vol button + power, it jups on error screen, that says "Image signature....".. I dont know what to do :/
You have to format your sd card. Then get the dload folder from step 1 to the root of your sd card. Press vol+ and vol- and power button. You should get an update screen. Do the same with the other ones.

ROOT
Download this : http://pikachukaki.googlecode.com/files/Root_u8800pro.rar
Extract the exe on your desktop
Connect your phone and enable usb debugging then press the 1st button on the exe
Wait for the commands to finish and check if you have SuperUser on your apps!!
Installation
Ok i say there is a pdf inside the zip but noone reads it..so how to install the rom
1)You have to have 2.3 rom...any rom official,custom,cm,miui,mine,kalos anything
1a)If you have froyo update to 2.3 find the post here on xda dont ask here how to update to 2.3)
2)make a folder on your sdcard and sdcard only named "dload"
3)Inside dload paste update.app from zip's step1 folder
4)Close the phone-remove the battery-insert the battery and hold both volume keys and press power until you see the huawei logo
4a)If the installation starts and gives you a fail do the same as above and press the keys for less seconds
5)Wait for the installation to finish..step1 and step3 will make 10-20seconds to install step2 will make 10minutes
5a)If and only if after installing step1 phone boots on cwm format data/make factory reset and reboot your phone
6)Wait to boot on your rom no rom changed until now
7)Now on your dload folder delete the update.app and paste update.app from zip's step2
8)Close the phone remove the battery and boot up with both volumes and power button, wait to finish..if your red light in headphone starts flashing quick you have problem..take off the battery and try again
9)After step2 finished wait for it to boot..normaly it will take you to stock recovery and make some wipes, then it will boot to ics!
10)After finishing login to your gmail account and everything loads normaly remove from dload update.app and paste step3 update.app
11)Close the phone remove tha battery and power the phone with both volumes and power button
12)Wait for it to finish this is quick like step1
13)There is a posibility that this step will take you to stock recovery too wait for the wipes to be done and if it stack at OK remove tha battery and insert it again
14)The phone will boot up normaly
15)Now you have all ics functions working!!GL so don't ask again how to install!!thx!!
Unlock the pink screen
1)Download the B928 Unlock the pink screen zip and flash it just like the steps above
2)After finishing flashing the unlock remove your sdcard and boot the phone to bootloader mode (pink screen) with Volume +/- pressed and power until you see a pink screen in the phone
3)Connect the phone to the USB cable and open your explorer on your pc
4)You will see a removable disk with the folder "Image" inside
5)Download the CWM recovery (the new by geno is in chinese for now) rename it to recovery.img and replace the existing recovery.img in the image folder
6)Disconect the usb cable remove the battery and boot your phone normally
If you are like me that after flashing step2 try to flash unlock and get the pink screen backup your sdcard to your pc and have inside only dload folder nothing more!!or i found this now..use the internal sd..
To downgrade to 2.3.5 you need to download 2.3.5 rom and flash only Step2 update.app!!
-------------
Known bug list:
1)The 4 keys after a while stop lighting they can be fixed if you restart but after 2-3 restarts they stop working at all
2)The phone model shows as U8800 not U8800+ or U8800pro although this is a U8800PRO rom not for non pro phone
3)Some users complaining about random reboots
Non bugs:
1)Low Ram...ics is newer and better that GB so it uses more ram than GB nothing we can do at least for now
2)No image folder on pink screen,as i say at the top of the post bootloader aka pink screen is locked so we can't see our image folder
3)After changing to CWM you will get a notice that says that your recovery.img has wrong signature thats the results of the post above bootloader is locked!!
4)This rom is stock..and as you remember if your using at all your stock GB roms they suck...so don't compare it with kalo's or any other rom as soon as we are be able to unlock the bootloader we are be able to took the rom and make it as stable and fast as we can..and also to make CM9 and MIUI v4!

Materialised Theme (please download the second recovery image below):
Tested on a Chinese M9+
Issues:
- ADB doesn't work. You need to copy flashable files to the device while phone is in normal mode over MTP, not in the recovery.
- external sd card: doesn't work properly, DON'T try flashing from it, I had to restore a backup when I tried
- in Materialised Theme mode, on theme/splash creation screen: creation and flashing of own theme/recovery image fails
WARNING: As usual, use it at your own risk! This comes without any warranties, by downloading and using it you are taking all responsibilities on yourself.
STOCK RECOVERIES: if you want to go back to your Stock recovery some Carriers (regions) some recovery versions for different official firmware versions are available in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-m9/one-m9-general/firmware-stock-recoveries-regions-t3120826
ALSO BE AWARE: for some regions the Stock Recovery Image of the phone is not available. So basically, if you flash the recovery as long as there's no official image to extract the original, you won't be able to flash back to stock recovery, meaning that you might have problem with flashing official updates!
SO AGAIN: YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO FLASH BACK TO STOCK RECOVERY, meaning you most probably won't be able to upgrade on the official OTA updates till someone gets an official RUU for your device's carrier from which the stock recovery can be extracted Some carriers some firmware versions are already covered in the thread mentioned above (STOCK RECOVERIES)
You'll need:
- Unlocked bootloader (e.g. proceed as detailed here: http://www.htcdev.com/bootloader)
- Fastboot tool
- Better use a USB 2.0 port, might work to flash with USB 3, but there were reports of issues with that
INSTALLATION:
Code:
- Unlock bootloader
- Boot your device into Download mode: POWER OFF, then long press [Volume Down + Power]
- Hook up USB with PC and the phone
- with fastboot:

thanks for this recovery
Thanks for this it was a life saver. I was getting nowhere trying to use TWRP 2.8.7.*
I found that when it runs, there are a lot of red warning messages - E: touch-drag and E: touch-hold. Dont get these message with other versions of TWRP, or is it just something with my M9Plus?

I want to compile a new one without that, also of 2.8.7.0 but I cannot seem to have it booted. If I succeed I'll get back with it.
2.8.6.0 updated with v2 for m9+, it's just cosmetic changes, but makes the navigation faster. Check original post for new download link.
2.8.6.0 v2 - 2015-07-11 - Removed unnecessary touch logging which slowed down recovery and spammed log window
I still have issues with booting my new compilation for 2.8.7.0, so for now this is just a minor update for 2.8.6.0 specifically for the m9+ unofficial english twrp recovery

Many Thanks tbalden. I will give the new version a go.
Hi tbalden,
I have run into a bit of a problem with your latest recovery and wondering if you or anyone else may have an idea what's causing this problem which is, the bootloader unlocked fine and I flashed v2.img via fastboot and all went fine also then booted into recovery and I am getting the error E:Unable to mount '/system' when trying to flash CleanSlate which actually seems to flash fine, I went into Mount and tried to mount the system partition but it won't check and the same error come up in the dialogue.
I now can't reboot into the system and it hangs at the splash screen so I'm guessing this error is the problem with the ROM being flashed correctly and everything is messed up now.
It may be a simple fix but if you or anyone else knows what may be causing this I would appreciate some help please, thanks.
Update: Everything is installed correctly and working now.
@Sojourner353 Are you by chance installing the rom from external sdcard ? That doesn't work, and caused me same issue (I've it in the first post of this thread as known issue). Do you have a back up? Restore, boot, and move the zip to internal storage and try that.
If you don't have a backup, you might need a RUU zip for your CID, and as I see that is Hong Kong (CID 708 based on your post in the rom thread). I don't have a HK RUU zip base 1.09, maybe @xiaolongzi?

Thanks for the reply, I do have a nandroid but it's giving me the same result after restoring it, I am also installing from the internal memory, there is no external SD in the unit at all.
The only thing I can think of is there is some sort of corruption in the recovery caused by the PC I flashed it from (Surface Pro 3 USB3), never used this PC on previous devices so today I will use my Server that has USB2 and has done many devices in the past without issue.
If I still have a problem I will just have to wait for a RUU to become available I guess.
Sent from my HTC One M8x using Tapatalk.
UPDATE: I've done some thorough testing, multiple flashing of full ROM and backup / restore, v2 seems to be OK on my side, so adding back link.
===
I didnt have the time to properly invevstigate, but the V2 might have some instability issues, sorry guys, removed for now till I investigate the issue.
Please revert back to V1 !
Finally did a test with v2, much better than the previous version - did not find any issues. Thanks.
2.8.7.0+ m9+ english version soon to upload. Testing it some more.
Those who wish to backup intact System.img (remount Read/Write issue circumvention when going back to stock recoveries and trying OTAs failed with remounted System partitions) should be able to use Read-Only system mode with this:
With 2.8.7.0 TWRP i'll soon release, I've tested 2.8.7.0 theme from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/themes/theme-twrp-materialised-dark-light-play-t2915584 Nicely working. (Through 1440x2560 Themes Folder, Material Light theme, name 287x-v1-1440_play)
Tho I had a hard time with Swipe right to unlock, before I found out that i need to swipe the lower screen part, and there's no actual graphical slider, just colored text (you'll understand it if you try installing it yourself )
new update
2.8.7.0 - 2015-07-18 - Changes from official TWRP release bump (like the option of keeping System partition readonly, for stock backups)

i repacked 286 with system read only to backup unmodified system image before. If i could rename the name system.emmc.win to system_image.emmc.win to restore with your new version 287, i will test it. Thank your new versin 287 and this make M9+ perfect if someone still want to keep OTA.

Which version? material Themed or the default?
In Material themed you either need to swipe over the low area of the screen (the text will go gray as you progress), or in settings set alternative lock screen to make it more visible
In default theme version very occasionally it happened to me, I had to try unlock it and wait about ten seconds till it unlocked in the end. But this happened on 2.8.6.0 not the new version
Hi everyone,
Roll Back from 513 to 331 all credit for @chudy_85 check the link here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65371195&postcount=207
this is the absolute way to roll back from Marshmallow B511 to any previous version whatever it's a lollipop or kitkat.......
(As usual the risk is on your responsibility)
New edit
Working now on MT7-L09
Thx to pasquyx and Shadow_recruit for testing it on MT7-L09
you should have root on the device
Files you may need:
1- Roll back file (this is the trick)- BOTH MODEL
DRIVE
LINK
UPLOADED
LINK
MEGA
LINK
2- rom B326 for middle east
(MT7-TL10)
LINK
(MT7-L09)
LINK
3- oeminfo file for China (don't worry it will not change the iemi numbers)
LINK
3- FX FILE EXPLORER
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nextapp.fx
4- FX ROOT ADD
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nextapp.fx.rr
5- Build.prop file if you device model showing Jazz
(MT7-TL10)
https://mega.nz/#!20QXmKrZ!HYhN_7u0sBc445C_6r6D4ug2HuqdCgM_721ANosUa9g
(MT7-L09) *NEED TO TEST FROM ANY ONE TO CONFIRM IF IT WORKING
https://mega.nz/#!XhxR2BpD!O6xkfX8MR55imidxwNlH9p3r2ugLOYwnM-dheTOQT38
-extract the file what you donloaded for oeminfo on ext sdcard
-open fx file explorer and grant it from SU, go to system root and make sure you mount read-write
-copy oeminfo from the extsdcard to /dev/block/platform/hi_mci0/by name and agree for overwrite, after that select the file and choose security and mark for all "read-write-exec"
-copy custom.bin for extsd to /data then choose security and mark for all "read-write-exec"
-check the country info now by *#*#2846579## if it cn, so you are on the right way
-now make a restart but first you should be on official recovery, if you are not turn off the phone open it again on bootloader and flash the official recovery ten restart
-after restart it should make "optimizing"
-after it finish take the roll back and put it in dload on the extsd
-make a local update ( if you don't have it go to dial and type *#*#2846579#*#* and choose 4)
after you make a local update the roll back should complete 100% because this file is the only roll back that compitable with B511
I promise you it will success with 100%
then put lollipop rom 326 on dload and make local update
and again I promise you it will success with 100%
-if the device didn't open after 10 mins, flash all files for the 326 by fastboot
Boot
Cache
Recovery
Cust
System
Userdata
-now you have a 326 rom but chines version.
-make root again and replace oeminfo and custom.bin for middle east version here then make a restart
LINK
final step is to make a reset from settings

Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
Yes, i noticed it. Just downloaded all needed files for L09, i will try later and see what happens.
Tried on l09 but it fails in transition package. downloaded all the files from huawei finnish site. Well, i think i just wait for the complete marshmallow image.
there is something with whatsapp notification, because i don't allways get new message notifications and also usb-debug and hisuite dont work. when i enable usb-debug and connect cable, it won't rise flag about permmisions and computer keeps saying that device is unathorized.

Files you may need:
1- Roll back from lollipop to Kitkat (this is the trick)
DRIVE
LINK
UPLOADED
LINK
MEGA
LINK
2- for me i tired with kitkat rom B119 sp03
LINK
3- extract all file from B119 Sp03 and be ready to flash all of them via (fastboot)
(so may unlock your bootloader and you should have all files for adb and fastboot)
*recovery
*boot
*cache
*cust
*system
*userdata
it's an easy way, no need to change the location or make any special things \\\\\
download the rollback file which I mentioned before, put it on dload on the extSdcard, and make a local update ( if local update not showing for you try a search for HwOUC.zip and flash it with Twrp recovery)
after you make a local update the roll back should complete 100% because this file is the only roll back that compitable with B511
then put what you want kitkat or lollipop rom ( for me I tried with B119sp03 kitakt and it's fail on 40%)
now enter the bootloader mode and flash all img's for the rom which you tried to flash
after finishing it opne on a stock android, so no issue try a factory reset and everything will be normal after that
Edit (important): to prevent the fail on 5% you should check the location on your device by this code
*#*#2846579#*#*
It should be hw/meafnaf (middle east version)
If it showing "file is not found" try to make a reset from settings>>backup/restore
This is important edit due to the update of B511 is for middle east.....

You should go into bootloader mode and open the command window from the folder that contain the stock recovery by pressing Sift from keyboard and right bottom in the mouse and choose open command window here, then type the following
fastboot flash recovery xxx.img
Replace "xxx" with the name of the img
If it showing okay then failed
Try to unlock the bootloader again by typing
fastboot oem unlock 0000000000
Replace 00000 with your unlock code
Then try to flash again

8.plug your phone to pc (be sure you followed step 4 or else you may get dm verification) just follow everything else correctly and your good to go
9.now go to odin and click AP button,a file explorer will appear and find the twrp file and select it and then click start
10.you will see the message in odin PASS

I have seen a lot of guys asking for help regarding the OTA failure on K5 Plus. I am using the 3 GB variant of A6020a46. To make life a lot easier, I have decided to show you how install the OTA without errors or rescue incase of any failures.

Things Required:
First of all, make sure you have these:
A6020a46_USR_S045_1606082200_Q1021101.2_BMAIN_16G_ROW.zip - Full ROM
A6020a46_S045_160608_ROW_TO_A6020a46_S056_161019_16G_ROW_WCE40BC597.zip - OTA
A6020a46_S056_161019_ROW_TO_A6020a46_S105_161124_ROW_WC2272CE3C.zip - Latest VoLTE OTA
QPST(Contains QFIL)
Qualcomm Drivers(Signed)
Make sure you follow these steps exactly
This tutorial has two stages - If your phone is brand new: proceed to step - b. If you have messed up following the tutorials online, forget everything and start from step - a:
a) Flashing with Fresh Stock ROM(requires PC)
Install the drivers and QPST without any errors(Sometimes you may need to disable Driver Signature Check, Google how to do it)
Charge your device fully or atleast 75%
Extract the S045 version to the clean location. Try to keep the path as simple as possible.
Open the QFIL application
Press both Volume + and - together and connect your phone
The red LED will glow and your PC will detect the phone
On QFIL, It will show as qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008 <COM PORT>

Now select Flat Build radio button
Click on the browse button and select prog_emmc_firehose_8936.mbn
Click Load XML and choose rawprogram_unsparse.xml and patch0.xml files
Click Download and the flashing will begin.
Be patient, it will take upto 15 minutes
After the flashing is complete, you will see the blue text: DOWNLOAD SUCCESSFUL
Disconnect the phone from the PC
Now press the power button and wait for the phone to boot up(Be patient, first boot will take longer)
Don't insert sim / sdcard yet
Once you see welcome screen, just do basic configs and reach the home screen
This is the tricky part! Don't do any configs or settings...
At this stage, when you type ####6020#, it will show you default - This is completely normal
Now follow the procedure a) above
b) Updating the phone with OTA
You may get OTA on your phone or when turning on the brand new one
Make sure you are on stock firmware and NOT rooted
Charge your device for about 75%
Download the OTA from above links
Extract the zip for these files: India2Default.ota.zip, India.ota.zip, System.zip
First flash S056 and then S105
Switch OFF the phone and reboot into recovery(Press Vol +, Vol - and Power together)
Follow this order while flashing: India2Default.ota.zip -> System.zip -> India.ota.zip
Choose install update from sdcard and select the OTA zip & confirm.
It will take about 15-20 minutes for the each of the OTA to install
After update, phone will reboot automatically
Be very patient, first boot will take a bit longer
Congrats, your phone has been updated! Enjoy!
S105 is the VoLTE update and latest at the time of writing this tutorial
Please press thanks instead of posting thanks.
DO NOT COPY/PASTE THIS ANYWHERE, respect my time spent on this.

Even after following the procedure, when I try to install the OTA zip, it still gives me the error that my device can't switch carriers.

Will only work if you have not/do not insert(ed) a SIM (yet).
If you've finished flashing the stock firmware and still aren't able to update your phone, download the two ota zip files from the original post, extract the "S045" archive to a folder and copy two files from here viz. "system.zip" and "your_region.zip" e.g. France.zip (the one with default in the name is not needed) and place them in your phone's memory card or internal storage. Now, shut down your phone and start it with all buttons pressed (Vol up + Vol down + power), it'll bring up the recovery menu. If you have stock recovery, press "apply update from sd card" and select "your_region.zip" file. It should flash and reboot the device. After the phone boots up, go to dialer, type in ####6020#, it'll bring up a menu (takes some time), here your region should appear, press on it and just exit ( do not press anything else). Now shut down your device again and start it into recovery mode again, this time flash the "system.zip" file. It'll take some time. It'll reboot phone. Delete both the files from your phone. After this is done, follow the same procedure with the "S056" archive, but this time you'll only need to flash it's "system.zip" file. You'll have VoLTE support now. Enjoy.

Bro I'm getting error while flashing the system zip
Hey, sorry guys! I was away due to my work. I recommended this device for my friend & he bought it. He was testing Lineage OS and decided to roll back to stock ROM. We noticed that we need to update the device in a tricky way. We flashed the device through PC but could not update it via OTA due to some errors with carrier switching. After some research, found that we need to extract the OTA zip and flash the files in this order: India2Default.ota.zip -> System.zip -> India.ota.zip. This time it was 100% successful and completed without errors. I just updated my post! Strange that I didn't get these errors

@Joysharoon S056 and S105 are OTA updates and can't be flashed through QFIL. Don't make it too hard! First flash S045 through PC. Then extract these files: India2Default.ota.zip, India.ota.zip, System.zip from the OTA into separate folders and copy them to sdcard. Now boot into stock recovery and flash them...
Order
S045 - PC flash
S056 - OTA (Recovery flash)
S105 - OTA (Recovery flash)
