Multi window on nova launcher - Galaxy Note II General

Been using the nova for awhile now,
The side panel with all the apps is there abd I can drag all the compliant apps to the workspace, but they always just take up the entire screen.
I dont know if ot Matters but my workspace is sized at 5x4 (instead of the regular 4x4)
Has any of you experienced such problems? any Idea if/how I can get ot to work?

Well, everything worked fine with touchwiz.
And I haven't set any security options for any of the apps.
How/where would I check if they are protected?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app

Working fine here. Using nova 6x4.

working fine 5x4 nova launcher

Well, that tells me it's not a problem with the launcher.
Now why isn't it working as it should on my phone.

Nexus 4 app drawer lag

I recently got my nexus 4 , and I'm one of those people who don't like any lag at all - especially when scrolling through pages and such. Recently, I've noticed choppiness when scrolling through the app drawer. I haven't installed much on the phone because I just got it. Has anyone else been experiencing this problem? If so, is there a solution? Is this normal?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
I only had problem while scrolling through widgets section. Else it's all fine.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Premium HD app
Yeah, widget section seems to be the problem. Doing a restart solves it. Apparently many others have the same problem. Every phone/device lags. Its inevitable. Installing nova launcher reduces lag dramatically. hopefully a software update soon will improve snappiness.

Same here but to stop the problem install CyanogenMod or a launcher and seperate the apps and widgets no lag for me now

I also disable fade indicator for home screen and app drawer and never experience lag

How to get back up to the top of the App Draw

This had been bugging me for ages and I just couldn't find a solution....until by accident. So i thought there might be other out there also wondering.
Q. How do you get from the bottom of the APP Draw back to the top without having to scroll all the way up?
A. Just double tap the notification bar! that's it.
You only need to tap once
Also works for blinkfeed

I'll have to try that all I want to do is even swipe up and google now appears. I use Google now allot and its a pain to have to open the app would be good to just do a gesture and it opens.
I use Nova launcher and have set double tap on screen to be google now. Very handy.
This thread has the launcher you're looking and some other 4.4 goodies.

Sure, you can modify your theme by extracting the apk and replacing the .pngs related to the app drawer. If you just don't want it there, I'm sure you can make it all transparent, but it would seem difficult to access your apps that way.
Indeed - OP appears not to have thought through - no App access without a button unless you hose apps all over the various pages...
Strange.
Or you could just press and hold the apparently drawer icon, the drag it to the top right of the screen.
