[Q] Swipe left gooogle now on any phone? - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

Got a question.
On the Nexus five you can swipe to the left to get google now to come up. Is there anyway that can be added to an s4?

I'll have to try that all I want to do is even swipe up and google now appears. I use Google now allot and its a pain to have to open the app would be good to just do a gesture and it opens.

I use Nova launcher and have set double tap on screen to be google now. Very handy.

This thread has the launcher you're looking and some other 4.4 goodies.

Swipe Up to Open Recent Apps

Hey guys.
Do you know how to swipe up (gesture) to get the recent apps, instead of long pressing the Home button?
And I don't want to use NOVA Laucnher. I want to keep the original TouchWiz.
Thanks

[Q] Slide up for app drawer in a launcher?

So right now, I'm loving all this swiping stuff, side bar, pie controls, notification drawer/quick toggles, ect.
But my question is, is there a launcher, or app, where I could like swype from the bottom of my screen up, to bring up the app drawer?
Maybe I'm blind and missed something, so be fairly nice about. But feel free to call me dumb if I missed the obvious.
Thanks guys!

air command
Sorry for the noob question, I'm waiting to get my note 3. The air command from the stylus is not launcher related right? If i change launcher they are still there?
Thanks!

turn it on go to home and observe buttons below and statusbar transparent. its nice, usually root is needed for that kind of trickery

It only works with system wallpapers or installed themes

It's on.
I have rooted my phone. And this is my screen.
I really don't see a difference with on or off

You aren't using stock launcher. Transparency only works with stock launcher.

You will have to download the launcher yourself. Here's the link- http://www.mediafire.com/?3ina0fd8fwki5fo

Installed this so big thanks to gnotelover, but one question.. How can I add more homescreens?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
Select an app or widget, and then move it to the right of the home screen and keep going. A new screen will appear.

Thanks, been trying that and it doesn't work, nothing happens...

You need to move the icon to the edge of the screen to the right, hold it there for a little. It should automatically take you to a new screen.
Thanks guys, human error... I was trying to do it with a widget, but it works with an app, not a widget..

Is this Google Now Launcher the same as the 0.10.1.920880?
Or what is the version number for this new one?

Thanks Jhall8. Do you also happen to know how to stretch wallpapers too? I can't get any wallpaper to fill up the screen even very large high def images.

Thanks again. I've tried that already but didn't bode well with my favorite walls. Tried clearing data in Google search got rid of the black bar on the right of the wallpaper but stretched way too much. Oh well.
Can anyone confirm whether the latest version of Google Search and/or the latest Google Now launcher goes back to the 6 x6 grid that Google search version 3.1.8920880.arm had? Every time I tried updating to new Search version it cuts off one of the columns which throws my whole homescreen setup and wigets off. I think the updates cut it to only 5 columns
