Hello.
My LCD Screen broke and touch function doesn't work...
Does anyone know how to contact LG or Google to repair my phone?
There's any trust place were I can buy a screen? it's easy to change it?
PS: the LCD screen is very sensible, just fall from 30cm and broke...
Thank you.
I think it is lg and around $140. There is a thread a guy did on it.

I am wondering if I could replace the screen without any troubles. Can this HD2 be fixed like new by replacing the glass screen and the digitizer?
[EDIT] The Screen was still working 1-2 weeks later, then after that the screen stopped working... So I'm thinking something is wrong with the screen digitizer but I'm not do sure.
They sell a kit for 40 bucks comes with screwdriver and separation tool

So its a problem with the digitizer right? And then I could fix it and it will work again?
That depends upon your skill and abilities
My professional advise is either to use professional to install or to purchase LCD and digitizer in one unit, even though your LCD is fine. There is no glass screen and digitizer, there is LCD and digitizer, neither of which you will be able to install separately, given your question.
Ok thanks every one for replying!
Hello! The wife cracked her screen today and I can't tell if I need to replace just the digitizer or the LCD as well. The top half of the screen responds to touch still but the bottom doesn't... so I've attached a picture hoping you can help me!
Thanks in advance!

use a mouse, it will still work.
Just an update, I ordered an LCD/digitizer on ebay for $60. Took me about a half hour to replace. The hardest part was removing the screen from the bezel, but I just put it in the oven on a towel at 140° for about 10 minutes and it came off rather easily. Now it's just like new.

Anyone have any suggestions on the best place to buy a replacement Display/Assembly -- display is cracked and touch no longer responds. I don't have a lot of $ to spend and I saw some on Ebay that where under $100 but now it appears most of those are gone and are 120+.
If anyone has any suggestions / advice I would really appreciate it -- at $120 it almost makes me want to just say screw it and get a MOTO G but I am in the US.
Is the rest of the phone worth anyone as parts?
Really appreciate any help -- thanks!
Is it just the screen cracked or the digitizer?

Screen comes on but will not respond to touch -- I was under the impression the glass and digitizer are one piece (fused)?

Edit: You can buy the screen separate which is cheaper than the digitizer.
Easiest way is to buy screen fitted already in a frame. It's around 100-120 dollar.
Only screen + digitizer without LCD is cheaper but much bigger risk u damage things ending up expensiver.

Hey guys, i dropped my G2 on its corner and it cracked the smallest portion of the botom left corner, but for some reason a strip of the screen doesn't respond to touch. Can anyone let me know what I'd need to order to fix it? Just the digitizer? or the glass, lcd and digitizer?
Samething happened to me, in short the digitizer is damaged. You have to replace the LCD/Digitizer which are combined. Better send it to LG they will do it for between $140-150 after taxes. Unless you can replace it yourself, I believe the part is about $100.
U hav to visit service center with some cash. :banghead:

It is hard make they believe that. But you should have a try.
The glass, screen and frame are glued together tightly. It is a hard task to replace one part only.
Although you send it to repair store, they only help you to replace the whole display assembly for avoiding risk.
If you want to repair by yourself, I don't suggest to replace the glass only.
Separating the glass from screen, you have to keep heat gun on 80 degree. It is a very hard task for a freshman to separate the glass from screen and keep the screen prefect. It needs the professional skill and tools.
You can try to replace the S4 screen with glass and frame by yourself. It is not a hard job and will save a lot of money. BTW you must get the correct version of screen with digitizer and frame replacement part for your S4.
You can get original spare part from witrigs.com which offers repair guide.
