Hi
Is there any ICS/JB Rom good for daily use?
Right now I'm using swedish snow RLS7 without any problems, but I want to know if is there any ICS or JB Rom for daily use.
Thanks
At the top, a little towards the right there's a search bar. Please try using that
There are stable 4.0+, 4.1 and even 4.2 ROMs for this phone.

Thanks.

That's just a precaution so that newbies don't spam with pointless complaints.
Try KonstaT's ICS or JB ROM

I understand. In terms of battery which is better? SS RLS7 or ICS/JB from KonstaT's?
It is possible to use a2sd on JB/ICS? I have one app impossible to use on the ICS/JB called APN Portugal, it automatically turn's on my mobile data to receive MMS, is there any app to make that on ICS/JB?
Thanks.

2. Yes, A2Sd is possible
3. I really don't know. Why wont APN Portugal work on ICS+?

Your battery should last longer than that on Swedish Snow.
A2SD, S2E and Link2SD work fine on ICS/JB

Over at Modaco they're developing AOSP ICS (not Cyanogen) for the blade. I don't know about CM9 though.

Still an early build. But somehow I trust CyanogenMod more. Will keep waiting until the one at Modaco becomes stable

- No CM settings yet
- FM radio (maybe it could work with a right application)

Hi guys, can some point me to thread where i can download chainfire3D for ARMv6 ? thnx i tried searching google and everything there is messed up, so dunno whats right and whats not.. Thnx a lot. I need it for OpenGL handler for stock rom, so for example Opengl launcher wont lag (dont want to flash a new rom)

that is what i use on my blade

this thread may also be of use to you regarding chainfire
Is there any chance of problems? Or its safe to use? And thanks for links guys
Swyped from my ZTE Blade
i never encountered any problems when using it mate it worked well with my blade
Is it working on stock ROM? I downloaded it and now i need to install the driver. Will it be ok? I know its annoying but I'm too scared to make any improvements that can destroy my phone
Swyped from my ZTE Blade
if im not mistaken you will need to have a root on your phone in order to use chainfire, i never tried it on a stock rom but i did use on cyanogen mod7 and it never gave me any trouble, it is also very easy to install and use
I'm rooted, I'm just asking because the text on market saying only for devices 1gb+. And since blade have only 600mb I'm little suspicious :-D
Swyped from my ZTE Blade
dont worry it works mate like a said before the installation of the drivers is very easy to do nothing to worry about
can we use chainfire 3d on zte blade???
and does it improves performance..??
Yes u can. It modifies the OpenGl and improves performance, especially in games, a lot
Sent from my Supernatural Blade
be aware that on certain games it will not work causing them to crash im posting this information so that you know the game will work fine with chainfire disabled

Happily using NexusHD2 ICS (4.0.4-CM9-HWA V2.1) since May 17. I've needed to re-boot the rom about 3 times for "unstable" behaviour but nothing repeatable.
All-in-all quite happy with the speed and reliability of this ROM
I ran tytungs cm9 rom since may 15th and it was good. However about an hour ago I switched to paranoid Android and I like it better thus far.

The roms are stable and they can be used daily with no problems. The rom by tytung is really good. However the ICS launchers(apex, nova, trebuchet) are laggy so you probably will have to use another launcher. Other than that, alls good and working.

I am using NexusHD2 ICS (4.0.4-CM9-HWA V2.1) since May 17. If you don't need building video on web pages. It is the best and cleanest.
Otherwise stay in Gingearbread
I'm using the Nexus ICS 4.0.3 SD version (about to upgrade to 4.0.4) and i absolutely love it.
As others have said the trebuchet launcher is laggy (not sure where to look for one)

Even better is the new version, check it out, I have 2 x HD2 and its very, very good. NexusHD2-ICS-CM9-HWA V2.2 NAND ROM
use 170 Mb partiton (168 Mb minimum)
If you have a Class 6 or better SDCard, format and partition it (1014 Mb with 0 Cahche) and download/install Link2SD to install apps on SD rather than your Phone.

Agreed, KonstaT is a bloody genius and the work he put in with SS was incredible. THAT is a true dev.
I'm running his ICS build right now and it's the best ICS there is, if i can get this damn dualboot to work (i can get grub to boot but since the SD card isn't mounted i can't start anything not in internal memory) i'll be running his JB too.

@Little Zed, you can supercharge your ROM, just read the OP
It is not advisable to supercharge JB ROMs as it has already it's RAM management from the kernel, if you are experiencing convenience then good for you but it is not that effective i tell you
