Hi
Which is better?
I'm using CM7.2 right now, and what I want to know about swedish snow is:
- Has better performance?
- Has better battery performance than CM7.2?
Thank You.

Agreed, KonstaT is a bloody genius and the work he put in with SS was incredible. THAT is a true dev.
I'm running his ICS build right now and it's the best ICS there is, if i can get this damn dualboot to work (i can get grub to boot but since the SD card isn't mounted i can't start anything not in internal memory) i'll be running his JB too.

From what I've heard all three are stable and good for daily use. I'm using NexusHD2 and that's great, but IceCreamTosti AOKP and ParanoidAndroid look fine to me as well.

yeah ive been using the AOKP rom (before my touchscreen stopped working. i dont know if it has anything to do with the rom, cause it worked for several weeks.)

Happily using NexusHD2 ICS (4.0.4-CM9-HWA V2.1) since May 17. I've needed to re-boot the rom about 3 times for "unstable" behaviour but nothing repeatable.
All-in-all quite happy with the speed and reliability of this ROM
I ran tytungs cm9 rom since may 15th and it was good. However about an hour ago I switched to paranoid Android and I like it better thus far.

wow i think nuxushd2 by tytung is good for daily use anyway is that stable like gb running on hd2 ?

i think there is quite a few stable ones out there, you can see it if people are discussing things like: Camera should work now --> not stable
if people are talking about: battery symbol in even more colours available --> all the big issues are working=)

The roms are stable and they can be used daily with no problems. The rom by tytung is really good. However the ICS launchers(apex, nova, trebuchet) are laggy so you probably will have to use another launcher. Other than that, alls good and working.

+1 , that made i larf
Tytung's CM9
I am using NexusHD2 ICS (4.0.4-CM9-HWA V2.1) since May 17. If you don't need building video on web pages. It is the best and cleanest.
Otherwise stay in Gingearbread
I'm using the Nexus ICS 4.0.3 SD version (about to upgrade to 4.0.4) and i absolutely love it.
As others have said the trebuchet launcher is laggy (not sure where to look for one)
Also is the battery life better with the NAND builds of the ROM?

Even better is the new version, check it out, I have 2 x HD2 and its very, very good. NexusHD2-ICS-CM9-HWA V2.2 NAND ROM
use 170 Mb partiton (168 Mb minimum)
If you have a Class 6 or better SDCard, format and partition it (1014 Mb with 0 Cahche) and download/install Link2SD to install apps on SD rather than your Phone.

ICS/JB

Hi
Is there any ICS/JB Rom good for daily use?
Right now I'm using swedish snow RLS7 without any problems, but I want to know if is there any ICS or JB Rom for daily use.
Thanks
At the top, a little towards the right there's a search bar. Please try using that
There are stable 4.0+, 4.1 and even 4.2 ROMs for this phone.

Try KonstaT's ICS or JB ROM

I understand. In terms of battery which is better? SS RLS7 or ICS/JB from KonstaT's?
It is possible to use a2sd on JB/ICS? I have one app impossible to use on the ICS/JB called APN Portugal, it automatically turn's on my mobile data to receive MMS, is there any app to make that on ICS/JB?
Thanks.

Your battery should last longer than that on Swedish Snow.
A2SD, S2E and Link2SD work fine on ICS/JB

[Q] Looking for a good ICS NAND rom

Hey guys, just wondering if there is any good stable Android 4 NAND ROMs out there for the HD2? I'm looking at starting fresh, formatting everything etc.
Thansk much.
Any of them really, just make sure it's been updated fairly recently (as long as it's newer than around October it should be OK).
Looking for ICS , so there is no better rom then NexusHD2 ICS 4.0.4 by tytung. It is the best ICS rom u can get.
Try it,you wont be disappointed.:good:

That's entirely a matter of opinion, you cannot possibly say that NexusHD2 is outright the best ROM out there.

yes i run with nexus HD2...and i haven't problem in this rom, it really good!
use the search function next time
everyones opinion on what is the best rom is going to be different
you have to flash and use them to see what is best for you
I used NexusHD2 ICS 4.0.4 by tytung for a long time. its really a good rom, quite stable. But I switched to kovjanos''s PA-HD2 v2.54-2.9 recently with dataonext and odex. It has the best ui so far I have ever seen. And %10 better performance according to antutu benchmark

No problem with your opinion, but you cannot present it as fact like that.
As I have said before.. coming to XDA and asking which is a good Rom is like entering a bar full of drunks and asking whats a good drink here !!

Not enough information there. You haven't mentioned which ROMs you've tried (so many different CM ports are available) and where you're finding lag/how you define 'fast'.

I guess you mean CM9? because cm10 is still WIP.
Anyway, you could try crossbreeder.

Normally use gingerbread but was testing out jb on wildfire, was quite slow and unstable so was looking for some scripts to help. Safe to say I'll be moving down to cm9 or lower soon
You can also give V6 Supercharger a try, installing it is probably the most fun you can get while installing something ever, lol.
*Hey whats up! I think I need more room. Just a second i think i got it. Yep this should be fine , LOL.* thats how a .bat file shows up while increasing its size on ur screen each time it pops a message, had to open it 3 times cuz im a knucklehead and it was hillarious every time.
