From what I've heard all three are stable and good for daily use. I'm using NexusHD2 and that's great, but IceCreamTosti AOKP and ParanoidAndroid look fine to me as well.

Happily using NexusHD2 ICS (4.0.4-CM9-HWA V2.1) since May 17. I've needed to re-boot the rom about 3 times for "unstable" behaviour but nothing repeatable.
All-in-all quite happy with the speed and reliability of this ROM
I ran tytungs cm9 rom since may 15th and it was good. However about an hour ago I switched to paranoid Android and I like it better thus far.

i think there is quite a few stable ones out there, you can see it if people are discussing things like: Camera should work now --> not stable
if people are talking about: battery symbol in even more colours available --> all the big issues are working=)

The roms are stable and they can be used daily with no problems. The rom by tytung is really good. However the ICS launchers(apex, nova, trebuchet) are laggy so you probably will have to use another launcher. Other than that, alls good and working.

Tytung's CM9
I am using NexusHD2 ICS (4.0.4-CM9-HWA V2.1) since May 17. If you don't need building video on web pages. It is the best and cleanest.
Otherwise stay in Gingearbread
I'm using the Nexus ICS 4.0.3 SD version (about to upgrade to 4.0.4) and i absolutely love it.
As others have said the trebuchet launcher is laggy (not sure where to look for one)
Also is the battery life better with the NAND builds of the ROM?

Even better is the new version, check it out, I have 2 x HD2 and its very, very good. NexusHD2-ICS-CM9-HWA V2.2 NAND ROM
use 170 Mb partiton (168 Mb minimum)
If you have a Class 6 or better SDCard, format and partition it (1014 Mb with 0 Cahche) and download/install Link2SD to install apps on SD rather than your Phone.

Hi all, I would like to know, if there's a finished project with HTC Sence 4 and ICS for HD2... Or any other Android 4 NAND version for HD2 that is the smoothest, fastest since now..
Thx in advance!

I've currently installed tytung's AOSP ICS ROM for HD2, I have some issues, but it's ok... Is there any possible way to combine Sense 3 - 3,5 with Android 4?? There are many new topics about Android 4 ROM's on HD2...
Thx again

As far as I know you can't just put Sense on an Android build, that simply isn't how it works (otherwise a tonne of people would have been doing it for a while now) and if you did manage to combine those, it wouldn't be usable with just 512mb of RAM anyway

The choice is up to you. My personal preference is CM7, but if you really want ICS then go for it I guess.
Its all based on what you want on your phone. Some people like sense, some like miui while others like cm7. Look at the videos on youtube and in the post of the ROM your looking at to try and get an idea of what you want on your phone. Not to complicate things but here is a list of around 300 Android ROMs for the HD2. Most are old but even many of the old ROMs still run great and are at least worth it to look at.
ok ty very much for the info!
I donwload AOKP for HD2 but not have a config for email ? (entreprise ou activesync) ! why ?
I'm using Tytungs CM9 ICS v1.5 rom as my daily rom. Had some problems initially (hot reboots once per day) but after upgrading CWM from 4 to 5.0.2.6 (not sure about exact number, the latest anyway) its been running smoothly with an occasional hot reboot. LOVE ICS, battery life is better than my old GB rom and data usage has reduced a lot.
It's no sense but you may like it

Hi m8!!
at the present there's only one ICS Sense Rom cooking, you may find it here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1544930
But there is a great ICS Rom available (AOKP aka IceCreamTosti) which is very smooth and stable that you can try to flash:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1441462
Have a nice one!!
Cheers!!
Im going to flash a friends GT540 phone but he wants a stable ROM, i know the fastest one would be SDSL but there are still some bugs in it, what ROM should i use? Haven't tried tejas 2.3 ROM, is it stable? Or what other rom should i try? Thanks! :3

Utopia 1.0 is good daily rom based on android 2.2 with excellent battery life and stability but it's not good for gaming. Application compatibility is lower than SDSL which is based on android 2.3 and SDSL supports theme choser themes which makes it more customizable. So basically SDSL is better for gaming and for people who needs more customization or want to use certain applications that requires android 2.3. Utopia 1.0 is better if you're looking for stable rom for daily use.
The rom I used for the longest period was PCFighter's V5 with supercharger and and loopy smoothness script. It was the better I've ever tried, stable and fast. Now I'm on ICS, and while I find it faster than GB, I think still isn't enough stable for everyday use if your friend simply wants a phone that work.
EleganceSwift 5.0 , very stable and comfortable rom. Without any tweaks is very fast , and very long battery life (in my phone 3-4 days without wifi )
currently i am using HD2 Nexus Gingerbread V2.3 by tytung.. He is simply awesome... This ROM is Flawless, Superfast, Clean And Fully Functional.. I just wanted to know wether HD2 Nexus ICS CM9 HWA is also the same..?? Fast, Clean and Fully Functional..??

GOOD ONE ICS 4.0.4 CM9 By Tytung
For New User, who have windows in their HD2 here is a link for video showing step by step "How To Install ICS 4.0.4 CM9"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItDPY-jGJjM
For User Either Running Gingerbread/ ICS previous ROM's they have to just upgrade their Clockmod Recovery to 5.0.2.6. and then run MAGDLR and first wipe ur phone and follow the instruction how to install ICS from SD folder.
For All: i have installed tytung's latest ICS, link is
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1437463
its working gr8, all features are working, no prob at all. only one drawback is, its minutely slow, but tat will not effect in any sense.
so njoy !!!!!!!!!!! all softwares needed for 1st install are available from tytung's link..
just try it, it's smooth and stable maybe not as stable as gb build is, but enough for me, for daily driver

I have not yet had a single stability issue with NexusHD2-ICS 2.4 since the day it was released. The only gripe I have is Netflix doesn't work, and some flash videos won't cooperate due to the hacked HWA.

There is a lot of diffirent roms. Native SD Build - sits on your sd card, NAND Builds - sits on your internal memmory and some part of it also in sd and finally Windows Phone 7 - sits on nand but needs SD also.
A list of must try.
eg.
AndroPlus Ultimate
MIUI 2.3.7
NexusHD2 ICS v3.0b
Windows Phone 7
There are tons of roms to try - choose the best for you
For HD2? ..any Android from 4.0.4 to up. No matter what.
I really like the sense roms myself.
I tried sense oft eclipse in my hd2. It works not smooth and offen slow.... I used a SD class10 and MAGLDR With Nand and dataonsd.
The 4.4 NexusHD works perfect in my mobile:thumbup:

It is a new rom with sense 4.1 and promises to be very good. I think that for the month will be error free.
