It was set to CDMA auto (prl) by default. I changed it to GSM/CDMA auto (prl) just to see what would happen. And since its a prl thing Idk if any difference

What ROM are you on? I've seen that menu before...... It looks like cm7, which is cross platform, hence the menu.

Bummer... I was super excited.
The Easter Egg's been in each version of Android since year dot. Well, same way to activate it, anyway... What it does has been different each time, and usually kinda lame.

Hello! Has anyone ran into roaming issues on their G2? I have everything setup for roaming but I still often times get the grey triangle in the status bar saying I lost data because I left my home network.
I do remember back in my HTC days that even though you told the phone its Ok to roam, it still wouldn't enable it unless you added the data widget and enabled it through there.
Any help would be great, I've attached my settings for you guys to see.

Happens to me to. It still asks if I want to roam even though all my settings say to roam to.

im pretty sure thats in the tapatalk app

Indeed you'd have to talk to the Tapatalk folks about that. It's just the Settings menu icon. Which is Google SOP after they depreciated the back button i.e. they also ask developers to include any overflow menus in app.
I don't see the problem. But then the menu screen shots you posted weren't in English either. Is there more that you're not telling us or just a pet peeve?

Thank you! So much! This phone is so disorienting...
So I was playing around in settings. I didn't see other threads about this.
Samsung for a while now always picked default as soon as you pick an option. With the S8/+ they actually put a setting in where you can decide how it will be handled.
All I can say is FINALLY!
Go into defaults and look for Default App selection.

Yes, that setting is quite well hidden, however it is not new, it was there on the S7 too.

It must have been added in the 7.0 update as I never found it.
