So I was playing around in settings. I didn't see other threads about this.
Samsung for a while now always picked default as soon as you pick an option. With the S8/+ they actually put a setting in where you can decide how it will be handled.
All I can say is FINALLY!
Go into defaults and look for Default App selection.

Yes, that setting is quite well hidden, however it is not new, it was there on the S7 too.

It must have been added in the 7.0 update as I never found it.

I was playing around with ADW and I was adding a custom shortcut.
I went to ADW.Activities and was looking around for something fun to put on the home screen when I came accross a videocall.videocall intent under call settings
I will include screenshots for those who want to see it.
Is this a setup of sorts for native videocalling on the phone? Is this sprint only? Do other people have this on there phones?
The shortcut opens to a window with options for setting up how the phone handles video calls but I dont see anything in the phone anywhere about making a video call.
Any ideas.

P.S.
anyone who wants to see this on their phone should add a custom activity to their adw home screen and goto callSettings-->video call(videocall.videocall)
Weird, comes up on my phone too. Anybody have any info?

Someone should look this up on the Evo and see if it's either a Sprint thing or a Samsung thing.
It's an Android thing.

The Galaxy S4 had camera voice commands to take a picture.
I cannot find this feature in the S5. Does it exist? If so, how is it enabled?
It's in the camera app. Hit the settings button and it should be all the way down on the right. It says voice control.

Yeh try this man i hope it works for you..
Hmm...I've looked all thru the camera settings on mine and I don't have that voice command feature. Is it possible I need to enable a something in the system settings?
The settings scroll.... That stumped me for a while as well since it's not in the first page of settings.

When I had brought up the settings in the camera I couldn't see the voice command option. I didn't know the settings scroll...just scroll down and you will see it.
I came across this app last night in the play store. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.vndnguyen.shortcutmaster.lite
I was able to access some menu's I haven't seen elsewhere. I have the Sprint G3. Some of this stuff is beyond me and I'm not sure if it's anything helpful.

Credit to Ymcc for the great video!

Add this to your thread mate that's a lot of thing going on in there. There's some screenshots too. I enabled LG Health on my phone which wasn't there when i first got my phone.
Im not really sure but i guess the BandSelection menu is where you can get your LTE only. But make sure you have a backup. I didn't tired this on my phone.
Im used to having the "Apps" Icon on my note 7 to see all of my apps... But that doesnt exist on the LG V20 at all as I can see. Id rather not have to go to thr settings to just see my apps. If its somewhere that I dont see, then please tell me where...

Thank you! So much! This phone is so disorienting...
My s7 has a system app called Yahoo! Edge.
I noticed it after the official nougat rim came out for my variant. I don't know if this is only on t-mobile s7's or all of them so I posted here.

It's used up almost 5gb of data since Jan 30th. I just got nougat a few days ago, so either that data date is wrong or this was already on here.
I don't trust Yahoo. They are pretty horrible at most things including security. It's not fun noticing a mystery app hidden away that's used up that much data..
Any ideas what the heck it is or how to disable It?

I can only see it used 7.52 MB.
My guess is it is an app for the edge panel. Does it appear there? Do you have it activated there?

Thanks. I guess I was reading that data wrong. And possibly it drives the finance or news edge, but I only use the shortcuts.
