Installed BR6 yesterday.
Everything works sweetly (after installing wallpaper via Settings - which got fixed in BR7)).
Of particular note MMS and, with my short test, Navigation are both working.
We have a Samsung Tab 10.1, and my wife has a HTC One S. Both are running CM10 4.1. So well done indeed synergye to have this 4.2 ROM running so well in such a short time.
This is my first post!
Yes it's a good effort from synergye which we all appreciate.
And welcome to xda and the rooted world

I think you'll find that there are many like me - people who read, but don't post.
The Desire HD is my first phone, and was rooted pretty soon are getting it.
The One S was rooted on day 1 after my wife gasped "but there are ads on this phone!"
And the tablet was rooted early as the stock ROM it came with was buggy.

CDs were upgraded with DVDs and Blu-rays. Bluetooth has got no such update. You may say NFC, but ain't supported on our device, is it?
Also many use Bluetooth headsets while driving.

you can also try a miui build. very fast and eye candy.

I can definitely recommend CM7 HyperDroid if you want something dark, minimal and fast. It's also very stable and only needs a 150mb CWM partition.
I second UltimateDroid, it has awesome customization options.
I'm not a fan of sense, but I'd definitely give it a go. HD2 has 2.0, 2.1 and 3.0!
And you could even try MIUI ROMs aswell, they have some really interesting features. And they only need a small (120mb I think) CWM partition which is always good.

You are right,I apologize. It's just that I think Sense is superior to TouchWiz and I was a little angry at the moment.
Sorry!
Well,it should be possible but don't hope for it too much. Not many devs want to put much time in it.

At least you owned up to your mistake, unlike many other people...and you could always try influencing a dev to build one! Although I am also not a fan of touchwiz it would be pretty cool to show off.

I unwillingly had to give up my nexus s 4g for my current g2. Thought it would be crap compared to the ns4g. So far my performance at 1.5ghz has been better and I'm actually pretty content. Now to the good stuff..

Did your phone come stock with Gingerbread? If so go Here to get back to Froyo, then Here I'm assuming the Gingerbread thread would have you put on CWM of course.
If your phone did not come with the Gingerbread update go Here then back to the 2nd link above.
Thanks dude! Yea I'm fully rooted running cm7 nightly but I'm flashing this right naoh!!

There's no official ICS for the G2/DZ, so right now there are some pre-alpha/alpha quality builds available in the dev forum. We may well never get an official ICS, but our sister phones, the Desire HD and Desire S will be, and there is enough commonality in chipsets to be pretty sure we'll get decent drivers out of those (to vastly improve the current early builds).

Second, 1.8!? Hasn't that burned a hole in your pocket? I've been running Andro Alpha 12 at 1.024 and running great.

Will the Nexus 7 be receiving official MIUI or CM support anytime soon?
Sent from my HTC ThunderBolt using xda app-developers app
I haven't seen anything guaranteed, and I don't expect to either ( these are community built ROMs and the last thing I would expect is guarentee) however this is a nexus device and will also have a huge user base with a greater than normal percentage of people willing to try custom ROMs , so I think on a practical note this device will get those builds as well as somany different flavors of android you won't be able to keep track of them all

What is a recommended ROM that has everything working?

Stock is the only rom with absolutely EVERYTHING working. You could try TDJ's Darkside Sense.
Try Dark JellyBelly

I'm using Dark JellyBelly, and I've found it works great. I don't see any significant problems with it. There are a couple of relativel minor ones, but nothing significant. You can read more here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1716558
To get good call quality, you will need to flash the low-volume fix after you install DJB. That's easily done. It's found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24008900&postcount=531
The biggest issue I have with the ROM is that the wifi hotspot doesn't turn on from the stock control. You'll need to download Wifi Tether from the Play Market to make that work (and set it up as a Nexus One, FYI). If you can flash the volume fix, and work with that wifi issue, this ROM is excellent.
Good luck
-Dan
oh so you want stable? Stay on Gingerbread.
Sense: Android Revolution HD
AOSP: Cyanogenmod 7
you can't go wrong with these two ROMs, if you want stability with everything smooth and working, stay away from ICS or JB.
ICS is smooth and stable now.
