Does anyone have a Odin flashable stock ROM for the SCH-I800? I need one badly since I bricked the device and the only Odin image I was able to unbrick it with is for Sprint and now I have no mobile data.
I see you have an identical thread pertaining to this issue. Please refrain from creating duplicate threads. This thread will be closed, but your other one will remain as is. Thank you.

Hey all, I have already rooted my device and was looking in to flashing custom roms. I have started to see more and more posts about people losing their IMEI when flashing new roms and I was wondering if we could discuss how this happens. Is it safe to start flashing roms or should we wait until their is a way to backup and restore the efs?

is there a way to post this in one of the 4-5 other threads about the same topic? makes it easier to discuss without following every new thread about it.
I wanted to unroot and go to complete stock is there a zip or tar file or any method that will allow me to do so? Or if not whats the most stable 4.2.2 ROM out for the nexus 7? Not the 3g version ..

Is there something wrong with the sticky thread up there right at the top of this forum?
[GUIDE] Flashing a Factory Image with fastboot / return to stock
It may have been written in September, so there are new (4.2.2/JDQ39) factory images out now, but the method is essentiallly identical.
As a matter of fact, inside the factory .tgz file, there are scripts which show you exactly what the process is (flash-all.sh, flash-all.bat).
If you have previously flashed the 4.18 bootloader (and have an unlocked bootloader) you can skip those steps.
Go to the Google developers website and flash a factory image for whatever number your Nexus 7 is.
Alternatively I recommend Carbon ROM which is AOSP
Not being smart but this question has been asked on here countless times, use the search function, it will give you all the information you need

I know why do that when i can ask the question and be givin the info instead of me looking lol

Careful with smart remarks like that. Yiure basically saying yiur tok lazy and want to be spoon fed instead of searching and learning like the rest of us. Perhaps if you took 2 seconds to open your root toolkit youd see theres an unroot button. For future reference taje the time to search hard and if you dont find it the its ok to post a thread but be warned thay the mods will shut you down and people will flame you hard. Taking the time to search and learning is much more gratifying thwn the lazy way. And youd be amazed at all the helpful things youll find and learn
Btw the solution for un rooting I gave to you was just served on a dirty silver spoon for you!

It's not that serious

AW: Complete stock?
To be completely stock you could relock the bootloader after flashing the stock rom

We really need more active mods around here to delete retarded threads like this.
You have eyes. I assume you have a functioning brain. Use them.
@az18zz
Im shocked at the fact youre still asking these noob questions considering how long you've been on xda and the amount of posts you've made
I agree though this thread is pointless

Your mods are active, but we cannot read EVERY thread, and need the community to help us. When something like this pops up, just use the report feature, and just move on...Posting in a thread like this only bumps it to the top, keeping it more alive. Just report and move on..

I just rooted my AT&T galaxy S4 mk2 build and now i cant find a recovery for it anywhere. Do i just need to wait or is there something already out??Please help i haven't rooted a phone in 3 years and i'm just now getting back into it.
Go into the development section and get Safestrap. That's the only thing you can use, no true custom recovery. Make sure you read through the first pages of the thread and maybe some of the Q/A thread before doing anything.

Welcome to XDA.
Please keep in mind that this community is absolutely hammered by folks asking the same basic questions over and over and over again. It drives us nuts.
You get a one-time pass for being new.
But in the future, please use the search function for questions that you think have probably already been asked.
Can we get a sticky on this or even this stickied?
I've just had to do this and info was all over the shop.
I'll even do a write up on how to do it when I get back from work.............
I feel the mods aren't that active in note 3 forums.. The forums are a mess and we barely have any useful sticky threads. I made a return to stock guide a while ago, it's linked in my sig. But it always gets hidden due to the useless threads that are made daily in the general section.

Awesome
I'm on JB but I flashed philz 6.13.0 and all seems fine
I also tried to root with cf auto root but that didn't work
But if you Google it, there are many tutorials on how to do it. Just saying.

Yes,but that is what I mean
This is a note 3 specific forum on xda and like Khizar pointed out it's well hidden,it should be stickied.
Forgive me if my post is in the wrong section. I'm wanting to be able to use keimdall instead of Odin to go back to stock and am stuck at creating the firmware.xml. I have never done anything like this before, and I obviously don't want to brick the device. I am completely lost at the id's. Where can I read up on this or has someone already made a package that I'm just not seeing?
Sent from my SM-G900V using XDA Free mobile app
Theres more to it than the package, as far as i knos it wont flash at all even with that, theres a couple pulls you can rebuild it with that supposedly work but i havent gotten to testing them yet, I have a thread kinda about this already actually if you want to check that. Also you were incorrect about the section, you've posted in general but this would more appropriately fit in the q & a section, no worry though.
