Earphone problem..Help needed!

Hello Guys,
I'm having a strange problem with my earphones...I have the Elfin with the original rom...when i connect my earphones with my phone...it automatically diales the first number and sometimes even voice commander opes on its own..I am able to listen to songs and the volume is perfect...but after some time it automatically diales the first number and it is really irritating......

same problem, both with wm 6 and 6.1.
very low voice with the wired earphone but not with the BT earphone

I had the in-call volume issue with the original ROM..I have now upgraded to Onyx ROM and this issue is now solved.

for those of you who dont want to flash a new rom to your phone:
backup ALL of the data on your phone (files, contacts etc) & do a hard reset
you do a hard reset by pressing the reset button and then holding down the red & the green key. Then follow the instructions on screen.
Hard resets are good for sorting out little problems sometimes

Volume problem with a rooted g1

hey guys i have my g1 rooted on jf1.51us and i seen to have some problem with the volume control when im in a call i cant increase or decrease the volume either for my ring i dont know why this started to happen if any one may have the answer for this plz help me out how to solve this problem if there a command that i can do to the phone please provided to me so i can fix this cuz is gettin anoyin when ppl yell on the phone

Have you updated the radio? Have you tried the Meltus audio fix?

the jf1.51 suppost to have the newest radio on it but i can do that and see if that fix it

[Q] htc touch2 ringing issues

hello,
i recently purchased a HTC touch 2 and have the following issue : for incoming calls, sometimes it only vibrates , other times it is ringing ...without changing any settings. I have an MP3 as a rigtone...don't know if that matters or not ....
has anyone experienced such annoying issue? I can't hear my phone ringing and it drives me crazy ...pls advise if you know how to solve it
ps: i have WM 6.5 installed on it , bought from Orange

I think there is a MP3 ringtone patch available on the HTC site. Try it, should resolve your issue.

I had the same problem, solved by stopping using mp3s for rings....
I will try the MP3 patch

Call Volume Very Low

the problem is that when someone calls me the volume is proper low i can just barely hear them. any fix for this. this rom is the best. i hope you can help me

i got a really anoying bug,basicly people can ring me ok but i cant ring even tho it still does but i cant hear anything,no tone,nothing just a "hsssssssssssss" and then eventually "beep" any help would be great
