need help cpu cant format sdcard stuck in disk (G:) im using vista?

cpu only read g1 as removable disk (g)
drivers are update sdk is updated.. also when i try to update from sdcard my g1 cant frind update n sdcard when i put it in...weird stuff u can email me @ [email protected] if ur sure how to fix this im using a hp pavilion.
now all i want is to down grade and start over to fix it but
cant down grade cause g1 cant read the sdcard updates?
im a noob so help is needed thx..i do donate if help works.

you can try a sdcard reader to see if the sd card have gon belly up

i have a sdcard adapter..and its fat 32 but when i try update it dont wrk..weird
also only get errors when i update cause phone cant install i guess..;(

[Q] Mouted SD Cards

Hei all those master out there, please can someone answer me this question !
i was using usb this afternoon then i didnt "safely removed drive" i just plug it out then i was getting this msg saying "Mounted Sd Card Read Only "
can someone guide me how to make it back to normal please ! neeed helpp badlllyy !!
i'm using htc wildfire rooted , wildpuzzle rom ..
help will b much appricieted thank !

Read only means safe to remove as it doesn't write any data.

my phone is HD2 I removed the windows system and it's working now with android 2.2.1
but I have problem in the storage
I can't do any thing in the phone I cant read or send msg I cant take photo I cantt install application the only thing that I can do is making call !!
the internal memory is totall full but the external memory is not!!
so I tried to move the application from the internal memory to the SD CARD but I cant do this
I tried to uninstal some of application but I can't do this also
I downloaded some applications help me delet or move of application I downloaded it from the internet and I put it in the sd card but I can't open the sd card in the phon !! I dont have the astro !!!
so I erase all the data on the phone and make hard reset for it !!
but still have the problem
the available space in the internal memory is 0 !! >> I cant believe that but this wat my phone says
I don't know wat to do with this problem !!
any one can help me ?!

If you have already wiped data and still have problem you need to install a different rom. Sounds like a bug.

What ROM are you using? Do you have the correct CWM partition?

What Android build are your using(i.e. Pongster Hyperdroid, TyphooN CyanogenMod )? Is your Android boot from SDcard or NAND?

Help me please... X8 problem

I need your help to do with the phone, which i broke a little i think..
The thing is when try out custom rooms, everything ok, but did not like anything in the custom rooms so i put back original soft ..
I used the backup, as well as the use Seuss .. To do this all the old way, but there is only one problem, when i connect my phone to pc, it doesnt mount sd card.. or someting is just black...
When you make phone present at the computer, he dont mount USB MASS storige device ... In other words, do not show when I have a Mirco SD CARD added ...
Phone in itself recognizes card and read out there on the files in ... Putting Mirco SD card in the ordinary SD apdapter computers read everything okey ... Putting it in another phone the same X8 also read .. Something is wrong with the phone .. and i dont know how to fix it ... I try 100x times new updates .. nothing does not help .. But imposing version of 1.6 everything goes and works ... but again that has just under 2.1 Where is my usb dont mounts ...
Maybe someone is exposed it when doest mount usb ...
Google found a solution, but it is only 2.3 version of the original fighting android Rom, or as they are called ..

may i suggest a few tests?
1. try connecting the phone to a different USB port, preferably at the back of the pc. dont connect it to a usb hub
2. If you had previously made ext partitions to use the app2sd native faeature, then delete all partitions from sd and reformat fat32. even if u havent made any partitions i suggest u reformat the SD
3. change usb cable, i have seen it before.
Are u using the original 2GB SD card, or another one bigger capacity?
I assume that u have flashed with SEUS the stock ROM 2.1 and have again tried.
This might not be a phone or ROM problem but maybe PC problem....

I agree gxaris, it look like it's problem with pc.
Did You tried to reinstall PCcompanion (it could be just driver problem).

I have the same problem a long time ago. I think there's something wrong with the phone. I've tried my cousin's X8, my PC can detect and mounts his SD Card. so I think the problem is not PC, its the phone itself. tbh I do nothing with it. Taking out SD card and put it in card reader doesn't kill me, I can live with that.
Sorry for not giving help, but I've tried many times to fix it, but no luck man.

Its realy sad, that for x10mini their is solution to download xrecovery 0.3... maybe some knowing people can make it to fix x8 phone to... I realy want so my phone can again mount to pc...
I hate using allthetime sd cardreader...
bigest questions is why.. with android 1.6 everythings works like it so postu do...
buth when i make 2.1 android version it dont mount again...
I used SEUS and PCcompenion...

Disconnect phone, uninstall driver, reboot pc and reinstall driver. Have you already formatted the sd card?

do you think i dint do thath, did you read...my post.. i sed i have done everything...
formated 100x times sd card and card isnt problem.. updatet 100x times phones, flashing,reupdating nothing works...
allready one people have this problem like me... read post please
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE xRECOVERY 0.3 with usb mouting fixed so it can work with x8 ? so i can fix my problem...

You can use CWM recovery, it have "mount sdcard" option - I used it few times.

in internal storage yes ... it will installed to data . but i need someone that will do a clean install

i can make a clean install no prop as long as my other files in the internal are ok
if i must formate the internal storage as well the i can do that but ill have to copy my files to pc first
do i have to copy them? if not then lets get started right away
