Hi
my phone is HD2 I removed the windows system and it's working now with android 2.2.1
but I have problem in the storage
I can't do any thing in the phone I cant read or send msg I cant take photo I cantt install application the only thing that I can do is making call !!
the internal memory is totall full but the external memory is not!!
so I tried to move the application from the internal memory to the SD CARD but I cant do this
I tried to uninstal some of application but I can't do this also
I downloaded some applications help me delet or move of application I downloaded it from the internet and I put it in the sd card but I can't open the sd card in the phon !! I dont have the astro !!!
so I erase all the data on the phone and make hard reset for it !!
but still have the problem
the available space in the internal memory is 0 !! >> I cant believe that but this wat my phone says
I don't know wat to do with this problem !!
any one can help me ?!
If you have already wiped data and still have problem you need to install a different rom. Sounds like a bug.

What ROM are you using? Do you have the correct CWM partition?

What Android build are your using(i.e. Pongster Hyperdroid, TyphooN CyanogenMod )? Is your Android boot from SDcard or NAND?

i do all steps and i install android room in internal memory of my htc hd2

I realise that English is probably not your first language, but we need a bit more information before anyone can help you.
Which Nand build did you install?
Which sdcard are you using?
Did you backup and format the sdcard and try again?

the card is sandisk 8 gb micro sd

Try going in settings>sd&phone storage and mount/unmount the card and see if this works for you.
There were other posts here with the same problem, try searching this forum and see if someone fixed it.
also check if its formated as fat32.
when i go to setting---sd card and phone memory---ifound the devise not descover sd card ((but the same card work with wm6.5))
i search for 3 days in the web to fix the problem
((many of the users with the same problem))
ifound some pepole asking the same Q but without answer

Do a hard reset. /format the card - find the panasonic format utility - do a search here/ flash radio 2.15.50.14. Flash hspl 2.08. Flash Magldr. Flash another NAND Android and see if there is still the same problem.
You can skip all but flashing a new build, but the problem might be somewhere in there.
This should clean the whole device and might fix the problem.

I`ve had the same problem with 8 gb Kingston class4 microSD. Search "Panasonic SD Formater" on google, download, and format you memory card with it. it worked for me, I hope it will work for you too. Good luck

Hey , i have the same proplem , i used xrecovery to update to 2.2.1 CM HACKDROID v0.12 and it worked perfectly but now when i try to move any app to sd card it says Failed to move application , please help us !
apllication that is moved to sd card cant be moved again to sd card
point is that aplications installation point is sd card
In this rom you can't move apps manually. If you have ext partition on sdcard apps are automatically installed to sdcard. I am using MiniCM where native app2sd works
yes but when im installing a new app , the internal storage memory is going low so i dont know why
in settings i can select by tapping on cyanogenMOD settings /application settings the install location , and if i select external , i cant install anything from Market or Sd card
I think that if you install new app it is automatically installed to ext partition but cache is still in phone memory that's why phone memory is still decreasing but very little

I got one advice for you. Before you install MiniCM remove your ext partition and then flash this rom

Did you try to move app to sdcard in settings? What firmware do you have?
Yes i've tryed and its not working , firmware is 2.2.1
I mean stock sony-ericsson firmware. This rom requires latest 2.1.1.A.0.6 firmware. You can try this:
1.Reinstall stock Se ROM with SEUS. 2.Format sd card
3.Root
4.Install xRecovery
5.In xRecovery do Factory Reset
6.Install newest CM ROM.

Install it with SEUS
On CM7.0 RC1 by jerpelea App2SD native works fine too
my hd2 power-off suddently with all roms that i test... anyone knows what can i do via software?

are you using the proper partition for each rom? if the partition isnt big enough it will constantly reboot

maybe i believe that i´m doing something wrong
i did the sd partition 1024 and 64 of swap
then flashed a script for to convert to ext 4 (with ext 3 reboots also)
and then install the rom.... maybe the partition should be bigger????

I dont like this rom is nice but i think have big issue with "unexpected restart" when i use this rom on my EU HD2 version i have allways problem with restart... Phone can work for 2 days and restart... I think problem is with free space... When free space come to 0 then phone make restart and again...
Anyway GL with find solution for this issue. I resign from sense rom... unfortunately EU version HD2 have not enought memory for it And SD modification isnt work for me...

Some people work with sense on EU version of HD2... I lost hope to sense...
Now i use this version http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1166948 I use this version from I think 1 month and is very stable and fast but isnt sense...
I dont understand one think, on this rom I have 235MB free internal memory and all application start from SD card... In sense version i have max 40MB free space and this space are still utilize..
Maybe is way to force system to move this app to SD card but i dont find solution for this. All application like app2sd not work corectly for me..
but dont lose hope

2- download and istall ModInstallLocation.

i tried to install clockwork recovery as well as tried to partition system partition through hd2 toolkit but i get the following error:
'Error Description: USB init failed

i hav disabled the checkbox of allo usb connection in window mobile device center.
i run everything using administrator. i use compatibility and administrator mode of xp sp2 in rapitool.exe and EnterBootloader.exe.but still getting the same error usb init failed 736

i changed ports and tried running hd2 toolkit using run as a administrator to partition it worked..the rom is installed and rebooted but after it rebooted it went to magldr ..how do i set it up so that it boots the rom which is installed automatically? any idea
i hav installed using NativeSD (SD-EXT)..i just have 4gb sd card..is it advisable to run through it or i have to install to nand... i have htc hd2 1024 usa.
how to change from native sd to nand only any idea? want to know..!!

in magldr set the sd card source folder to point to the /nativesd folder on the sd card, and set the default boot mode to ad sd. (yes, even though its booting from the ext partition, it finds the initial files in the folder on the sd fat32 partition).

You have to download the updates from the xda.
And regarding the applications, do u want to install them on the sd-ext partition?

I suppose u can move them manually to the sd-card, or select the directory for installation as the sd-card ( i think this is done in the play store settings, i dont really remember ). But why do you want to install apps in the sd-card?
I suggest u make an ext partition of your sd card. WARNING!: this will wipe ur sd card clean, make a backup!.
The advantage of making a ext partition is that when u use roms with A2SD support, the ext partition on ur SD CARD acts as internal memory. So u have sort of increased ur internal memory

After i formated it back to mobile i tried to update my phone to lineage os 17.1 it doesnt recognice my internal storage. apps install but Photo app doesnt work and if anything wants to acces files the app just crashes.

the rom u r using is unstable , unstable roms have issues and bugs .
use a stable rom like i do , btw i use resurrection remix pie ,sdcard does work
dont forget to leave a like
the problem is that i dont have an sd card in the phone

That what I said , the ROM is unstable , causing it to have bugs ,like the bug of internal storage not appearing , please flash a stable ROM .
