in magldr set the sd card source folder to point to the /nativesd folder on the sd card, and set the default boot mode to ad sd. (yes, even though its booting from the ext partition, it finds the initial files in the folder on the sd fat32 partition).

You have to download the updates from the xda.
And regarding the applications, do u want to install them on the sd-ext partition?

I suppose u can move them manually to the sd-card, or select the directory for installation as the sd-card ( i think this is done in the play store settings, i dont really remember ). But why do you want to install apps in the sd-card?
I suggest u make an ext partition of your sd card. WARNING!: this will wipe ur sd card clean, make a backup!.
The advantage of making a ext partition is that when u use roms with A2SD support, the ext partition on ur SD CARD acts as internal memory. So u have sort of increased ur internal memory

How to install apps on SD card on HTC Tattoo?

Hi,
I have downloaded an application named Apps2SD to my tattoo but the program seems to be not working. anyways, i did some search on the net and found out that you need 2 partitions on your sd card to do so. one partition fat32 one partition exFAT.
i couldnt partition my sd card... i cannot install apps on my sd card.. it installs only on the phone memory.. anyway to install apps on sd card? thanks.
I suggest you use a custom ROM that supports A2SD with no need for configuration. All you need is to partition your SD card in recovery (remember to backup all files first).
thanks for your reply. but i also wonder.. my tattoo is vodafone locked.. if this makes any difference?.. thanks again...
No it shouldn't

I Can't install any NAND on my HTC HD2

hi together,
i have many problems with my HD2, i have try to install a nand over MAGLDR v1.13 + DAF but when i try to install it with ROMUpdateUtility.exe it loads and i can click update, but then nothing happens only 0% nothing more.
I try it then with another tutorial that told me to install a radio first, but the same problem it loads 4% and told me that i have a wrong version or handy or somtehing.
Can someone Help me or told me hhow i can install it on another way?
you run daf.exe not the file you are running

Once in magldr u need to choose usb flasher and then connect ur fone with ur computer and click daf.exe it should do it on its own

thx, what im not understand, where must i put the folder: META-INF boot and system?
when the DAF.exe runes it says it cant load the readme.txt and when im click next there comes more erros i think it cant find the .img type file?

I've heard that Magdlr has some problems corrupting larger file transfers. Personally, I've never experienced it with v1.13. You can try using a microSD adapter and transfer it directly from your computer to the SDcard, from then on, transfer files in Android before you decide to flash.

Flash CWM, then use the USB Mass Storage function from the partitions menu as another method.

What Android build are your using(i.e. Pongster Hyperdroid, TyphooN CyanogenMod )? Is your Android boot from SDcard or NAND?

[Q] Android A2SD question

hello,i have a t-mobile HD2 that cannot boot any android rom(SD or NAND)so my guess is that my bad blocks don't let my phone boot Android...so here is my question:with A2SD I install the rom to the SD card(which is virtually converted to NAND or something?) or not??if someone finds any solution about my problem i would be grateful

I don't have any clue what your actual question is supposed to mean, but if you can't install SD Android then it isn't anything to do with bad blocks. You need to give more information, such as which type of HD2 you have, what radio it has, do you have HSPL, what steps you've taken so far etc. Nobody can help without sufficient information.

I still don't quite understand what the actual issue is. Do ANY ROMs boot on your phone? The reason I ask is because you later contradict this original statement by saying something about A2SD moving your apps to the SD card.

A2SD does not install the ROM to NAND nor does it install NAND to SD. It install apps to your SD card, apps that you use on your phone.
NAND ROMs are flashed directly to your phone and completely remove Windows.
SD ROMS are ran from your SD card with your Windows still functioning when you want.

Have you installed MAGLDR and partitioned your internal memory by flashing ClockWorkMod Recovery(CWM)?? And Apps2SD doesnt install any rom. Its just used to transfer applications that run on the internal memory to the sd-ext.(partion of sd card)

I have a hd2 too.
magldr 1.13 .... clockwormod 5.0.2.6 ... Nexushd2 ics 4.0.4 - rom... a2SD-Script ...
200mb nand-partition..5mb cache-partition.. 1 gb ext4-partition and 400 mb swap-partition
I installed my rom witht "hd2 toolkit 4.2.0.1", that can be downloaded here on "xda-developers".
With this tookit you can do followed things:
- Start with a "full wipe" called "task 29" (I think this "task 29" is necessary for your hd2, because of your problems and bad issues you are reporting)
- then partition your nand-memory (for first install i recommen 200mb nand an 40 mb cache - after you recognized that it works, you can reduce cashe to 10 or 5 mb)
- install magldr
- install clockworkmod recovery
- install your rom

[Q] WP7 installation despite NativeSD?

Hi Guys,
currently I have a Miui NativeSD Rom. It means the whole Android Rom is running at my SD Card. My questions is....can I install this WP7 ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1356833
with a another SD Card and my current not used NAND memory? I would change sometimes the Roms, between WP7 and Android but when I install WP7 I dont know whether crash my Native SD ROM?? Last question when I execute Task29, will be delete my current Nand ROM, but also Magldr??
Thanks!
hi, check out the links below it might help
& yes Task29 will wipe your NAND of any rom/ reccovery that's in there but leaves radio alone.
Ok if I understand aright, I follow the steps Task 29 / Install Magldr in the Boot Mode from HD2 Toolkit ( is a repartition to 300mb or 445mb recommend? Or can I skip the partition-step?)and then Clear SD MBR and uselast24Nand , execute this dwi from my WP7 Rom and installed WP7 on my NAND After this my Magldr is already there??! If yes I can change my SD Card so where I cand find my Native Files and boot from them??! ^^
OK , to do it. the nativesd roms wont be crashed. it only in ur sd card .

yes, that's what you should do. Card#1 for WP7 and Card#2 for SD or NativeSD.
but wp7 wont boot with the second card in slot. wp7 needs the first card(it formats and locks the card during installation)
