Hei all those master out there, please can someone answer me this question !
i was using usb this afternoon then i didnt "safely removed drive" i just plug it out then i was getting this msg saying "Mounted Sd Card Read Only "
can someone guide me how to make it back to normal please ! neeed helpp badlllyy !!
i'm using htc wildfire rooted , wildpuzzle rom ..
help will b much appricieted thank !
Read only means safe to remove as it doesn't write any data.
Just reboot, worked for me

My XDA II doesn't recognize SD cards..I changed the cards (although working in card reader with my PC), I hard rest the XDA II, re downlaod the new ROM, and nothing happining ..My problem started after downlaoding the new ROM and unlocking my XDAII with the tool in this site!! at the same time I don't know if this is related!! please help meeeeeeeeeeee!!! I tried every thing ..urgent help needed please

I am sorry to here you are having difficulties with your XDA2. It would appear you have already tried everything I could suggest (hard reset, downloading the ROM again etc.) It would seem this is a hardware fault. Please call the XDA repair centre on 08081003427 with whom you will be able to discuss repair/replacement of the unit.

Thank you for your e.mail..But it cant be hardware problem ! because I had the same problem with my original XDA II, send it for repare, after THREE MONTHS!!!!! !!! no one could tell me were is my phone and after a very long fight I was givin a new XDA II..downlaoded the new ROM and you know the rest!!! please advice urgentlyyyyy

Does your XDA II even see the SD card?
With your device booted up and on the today screen, if you inserted an unformatted SD card you would be prompted to format it. Does this happen?

When I insert an SC card I have this massege on the screen"" do you want to try to reformat this storage card to make it readable? this will permanently delet any files on the card." i press YES ..then another massege saying" this storage card has been successfully formatted!!!!
but the XDAII dosent recognise the card any more..like it is not there!!! when reinsert the SD card same thing happens all over again!! I really dont know what to do anymore..any suggestions pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas
Have you tried different SD cards? Yours might just be faulty or incompatible.
this card was working perfectly befor the ROM upgrade!! But I still did try different cards!! and same problem!! and the same card is working perfectly in other devices!!
mmm OK well I'm out of ideas, sorry . Unless you try one of the tools available on somewhere like PocketGear. If I think of anything else, I will post it.

I actually don't use it much right now so can't say how good or bad it is
I have a big problem with my legend. The phone can´t acces sd card. I tried with 3 sdcards, but without succes.
Know, I can´t root, and I can´t use market.
Will you please help me? I try to flash with flashrec, but it´s need a SDcard..

my phone is HD2 I removed the windows system and it's working now with android 2.2.1
but I have problem in the storage
I can't do any thing in the phone I cant read or send msg I cant take photo I cantt install application the only thing that I can do is making call !!
the internal memory is totall full but the external memory is not!!
so I tried to move the application from the internal memory to the SD CARD but I cant do this
I tried to uninstal some of application but I can't do this also
I downloaded some applications help me delet or move of application I downloaded it from the internet and I put it in the sd card but I can't open the sd card in the phon !! I dont have the astro !!!
so I erase all the data on the phone and make hard reset for it !!
but still have the problem
the available space in the internal memory is 0 !! >> I cant believe that but this wat my phone says
I don't know wat to do with this problem !!
any one can help me ?!
If you have already wiped data and still have problem you need to install a different rom. Sounds like a bug.

What ROM are you using? Do you have the correct CWM partition?

What Android build are your using(i.e. Pongster Hyperdroid, TyphooN CyanogenMod )? Is your Android boot from SDcard or NAND?
hi im trying to install miui nd now in MAGLDR113 i attach my hd2 with pc and i formetted my card ( my bad ) and now im trying to copy rom in card but its not working its always says bad path happing many times but still same now how i copy my rom in card .... and now my card is empty with no file inside what i do next please someone help and one more now when i start my mobile everytime this MAGLDR come nothing else not my omega rom just coming always this MAGLDR please somehlep thanks alot in advance
only chance to get it work is to use an cardreader.
if haven´t one you can reinstall an wm6.5 rom.
then copy android.zip on sd card and reinstall magldr.
What you can do is, flash the official windows mobile rom. It should solve the problem.
If not , try using with new sd card or without sd card.
if that don't solve the problem, well then there went something significantly wrong!.
Flash clockwork, mount usb storage in that
sd card
Format (32) ur card, if u cant do it with Gparted (live cd).

Hi,
Did you format your card with windows 7 ?
Phone will not work with that.
Use a card reader and try formatting the card with g-parted(google)

Hey friends i have got this Defy which i bought from my friend who then moved to galaxy s plus. This is my first android.
so i thought lets speed it up first.
I have rooted it using superoneclickroot or something, but i forgot to unmount the sd card !! wanted to know what may happen if unnmount the sd card... why do we unmount exactly ?
My second question, if i do the unrooting using superoneclick, i should repeate the same procedure like i install ( keeping sdcard on usb mass storage ) or shall i keep sd card as none selection and then unroot or reroot it..
i am doing this because lately i have noticed many times that my cpu meter is goin 100 % a lot more than before rooting it.
also, even when i am connecting it to charge and selecting as none its showing 100% process ( many times i have noticed ).
I am not sure of installing cm7 at the moment as i have just purchased it.. no no cm7 or any other rom for me.
Any help appreciated... Thank you very much in advance.
you should just select unroot.After unroot is complete make sure that the superuser app is uninstalled.Reboot and you're done

Thnx stamatis for a quick responce, but can u tell me why we require to unmount the sd card before rooting it.. i mean what changes it does to the sdcard?? if it does do some changes dont i need to uninstalled or reverse them also...??
also, is that the reason my cpu is going haywire and reinstalling it can help..??
