Low ringtone problem on NexusHD2-NativeSD (JB), succesfully repeated and SOLVED !! - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

Hi guys, I was(!) one of the sufferers of low ringtone problem occurs on some unlucky installs of nativesd rom from Tytung. Although not everyone is experiencing this issue, here is a solution on how to repeat it and how to solve it. The problem with my route is it may be a temporary solution, depending on your comfort needs Here it goes;
Assume you are already in trouble with low ringtone, DURING AN ON-GOING CALL, take conversation volume to lowest, by clicking the physical volume-down button on the side of the phone, several times.
End the conversation, and ask someone to call you.
Voila !
Of course, it may not work for all of you since everybody roots their phones in slightly different ways. And the problem with comfort is, you may need a higher volume during call, and right after increasing the volume even a single click from the lowest during call, (I tested other levels too, no way) low ringtone cames back until you fully decrease vol. in a following call.
Well, I really hope this works for you, too, and millions of thanks to Tytung for such a great rom with almost no problems.

And here is my sound settings during a call;

Volume Issue

Is there any sort of app or break for this thing regarding volume level? I am having issues with call volume and ringtone volume on my EVO. It seems it should be a lot louder at maximum volume. It's not *horrible* but I think it could be a lot better.
Any information?
there's an app called "Volume Button Locker"
the icon looks like this...

It doesn't auto load though, so if you reboot you have to restart it.
Also if you use advanced task killer add it to the ignore list!
what we need is the louder volume hack app to work on the evo. has anybody even pm'ed the dev to ask him to make it work on the evo? i agree the maximum volume is much too low.
It could be that the ringtone was recorded on the low side. There's lots of individual volume settings that can be adjusted. I'm not experiencing that problem. I used to use an app called quick settings for ask the bells and whistles it did. Now I just use it for volume levels. It does: ringer, notification, media, alarm, voice, and finally system volume levels. There may be others out there, this is one of the free ones

Anyone Know How To Make A Sound When Adjusting The Volume?

Just got my wife a G4 Plus, and it's driving her nuts that when she adjusts the volume only a visual representation is given not an audible sound to let her know what the volume level is. I have the Moto X Pure and it's the same, so it must be a stock Android thing. Gravity Box doesn't even have an option for this (or maybe I missed it??), anyways anyone know how to make the volume "ping" when adjusting it?

Click to collapse
Custom roms have an option under Settings->Sounds->Other Sounds to do this. You could check if stock rom has the same menu option.

Phone Shuts down when notifications come

Exactly what the title says it suddenly shuts down with a sort of click sound coming from the speaker's when notifications pop up. I tried silencing notifications but didn't work. I obviously can't block notifications. G4 plus is actually my dad's phone and it's really affecting his work. Any fix cuz this thing started happening after the warranty period more often. In the warranty time it happens like once or twice. Now it happens atleast once every day. Here's a screen shot of the system information if it helps.

I have the same problem.
I was on LineageOS 14.1, so I thought it was a dirty flashing problem.
I full wipe and installed againg Lineage, same behaviuor.
This week I flashed stock firmware (december update), same beahviour.
When I receive a notification (not always, but very frequently) I can hear the very start of the sound and then the phone shuts down.
I loose also the messages/whatsapp/ecc, because shutting down is so quickly that the phone doesn't memorize the notification.
So I can't know who write to me.
Instead, I have no problem when the phone is silent/vibration, but obviously is a problem to have the phone always mute.
I think it's an hardware problem, I'm thinking to sendo it back (it's in warranty).
Any suggestion?
Same problem here also .. When notification comes its automatically shutdown..

Since this day everything works fine except one thing: when I'm calling someone or recieving a call from someone I can hear another person, but this person can hear me every time AFTER 0:10 seconds, not more, not less - exact 10 seconds.
I have thoughts that maybe phone has two microphones and one is broken, and after 10 seconds of idle phone changes to another microphone.
Anyway, mic on videos works perfectly fine.
Anyone can help how to fix it? Maybe can I turn off broken mic (if my thoughts are correct) completly?
The phone's microphone and speaker are located at the bottom of the device (in the charging port): http://www.myfixguide.com/manual/leeco-le-pro-3-teardown/
So when you dropped it, one of those probably broke or maybe (if you're lucky) got detached somehow. Open the phone up and take a look. You can order replacements on Aliexpress.

Nobody ?
Nobody know how i can fix this ? If nobody in here knows i've got no chance i've had galaxys since the s3 but i've had enough now, i'm so sick of ota updates supposedly to better your phone putting more problems instead, i've had enough, i had no problems with s3, s4,s5, but the more the phone is meant to improve and the more you pay for it the worse they get, NEVER getting another galaxy.
