Trevd has written a great guide on how to integrate 3gdongle support w/o needing a third party app. I added it to my tool, auto-patcher, which installs the function on any ROM with one command.
You can use the patcher on any PC, osx, Linux or windows. Windows even has a GUI. It is easy and way better than keeping uneccessary apps in your memory all the time.

Hi guys,
I'm competely new to xda and am a bit of a novice when it comes to apps/computers etc.
I was wondering if it is possible to get adobe flash for the nexus 7 and how on earth do i go about it?
I know people have asked this question many times before (but i can't find the exact answer i'm looking for).
Before anyone says it.... I know flash isn't great but I need it to watch tv (the RTE player)
Any help (broken down in very, very simple baby steps :silly: ) would be great!

This is NOT going to happen ever.. Unless you find a wireless to Android Cable ready(assuming you have cable) Digital (assuming your cable is digital) Tv tuner .If you find such a product let us all know... Actually there is a DTV tuner thread in here someplace . but its a euro version i think...
Good Luck

I don't think that passes video back and forth, which is what the OP is looking for.
Maybe this one?

I'm not sure if this is just a remote or what.
The Samsung smart TV app only worked for me on a Samsung tablet. The basic Samsung remote app Will work with the exception of the screen mirror part. Works as a remote only

ImediaShare works well with Nexus 7 and DLNA LCDs, actually better than AllShare.

I used Samsung Remote from Google Play store on my Samsung S Advance, but it doesn't work on my Nexus 7.
There is also Samsung Remote Tab... for tablets... doesn't work either. I don't know why ...
I'm interested in a solution.
restored it thru a ti backup i think.... from my a500 tablet...
Will slimport allow me to hook up a nexus 4 to an atrix lapdock using this accessory?
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...IN=B009UZBLSG&linkCode=as2&tag=phandroid01-20
Just wondering if the keyboard and mouse will pass through the second micro usb. Thanks!
I know this is an old thread but having just joined the n4 family from the atrix 4g i've spent the past day trying to find out if i could put my lapdock to good use.
I thought the slimport cable with correct adaptors should work but needed to find out for sure before buying one since i have no interest in using it with anything other than my lapdock.
Anyway if anyone has a lapdock or would be interested in getting one to play with, check out this link i just came by...(ok i tried to post the link but since i don't have 10 posts i wasn't allowed) So type 'Atrix Lapdock Other Uses - Rob86wiki' into google There's a section for the nexus 4 there.
I apologise in advance if this has been posted before or is common knowledge but i did a search and only this thread came up.
Cheers
Oh i'd just like to add i'm not saying it works completely or would ever work like it did with the atrix. Tbh i don't have enough knowlege of this stuff but i find it interesting.
Hi Guys,
I've unfortunately spent quite a bit of money on purchasing a Pioneer Z150bh and a Samsung Galaxy S5.
Does anyone know if I can use app radio unchained to have my pioneer z150bh mirror and give me full control of my Samsung GS5?
All I can find are Pioneer App radios (not my z150) and/or Samsung GS4... *not GS5)
I have done hours of online research and have not found anything specific to this. If I cannot accomplish this, I'm going to just return everything and try to get my money back
All I want to know is
1. Is it currently able to do this?
2. Which cable is required?
3. A link to how to accomplish this?
4. Where do I send this box of chocolate cookies too if you answered the above questions?
Thank you people who are smarter than me.....
Cheers,
Sam
Yes you can! I've done it with my LG Optimus g pro. You need an MHL adapter along with a Samsung 5 pin to 11 pin adapter, HDMI cable, micro USB cable, and ARUNchained installed on your phone. Message me back and we can exchange phone numbers and I'll walk you through it.
