hello mate,
as you know everything will be better and run better with a more efficient use of hardware resources, a thing that android could not do anyway
but with FxOS maybe it will be done nicely, and after that FxOS has some cool iOS-like features
firefox os not browser

Will this work on WM?
No, Mobile Firefox is a windows application that will run directly from a USB memory stick. The smart phone version of Firefox is known as "Fennec", but it is in alpha and currently only runs on Nokia tablets.

I hear that a beta should be out very soon.
If you are tired of Opera, try NetFront! I use only this Briwser. After some customiations it is the perfect browsing experience! (this post has been typed in NetFront )

Anyone know of any tweaks for skyfire v1.5 that will make broswing on the htc hd2 better???
Also as everyone knows skyfire no longer supports flash, is there anyway to make it work this latest version by doing tweaks etc? or additional addons or something like that!
thanks.

The youtube videos still play... although you are right... this message is new. I guess Skyfire will sort it out in their next update.
skyfire are concentrating their interest on android platform now ,look at the version 2.0 for android ,and you will know that all we get is a sh*t

as i said before i regret buying android (also i visit x10 forum from time to another and post ****#y comments ) ,but i gave it to my small brother ,as not to through it into rubbish ,and iam back to my hd2 again . so i will still say (WE)
Android Froyo will support Flash...and it will be 10.1 so, so far...best browsing exeprience imo.
I wonder why in the world flash 10.1 is not supported on wm???
Why Doesn't Adobe Support WM for Flash 10.1
The program has been tested (in Android form) and as Steve Jobs said, 10.1 really slows down the performance of the OS. The only alternative is still Skyfire or a miracle programmer somewhere out there.
Hi to all! From a 3 months i'm a happy user of S8500. But one thing is very annoying, the lack of a good internet browser that supports multi touch + flash /why not, iPhone got it from Mozzila/ + uses the full screen /not like the Dolphin in Bada 1.2/
Do someone know such miracle exist?
There are not 1 but 2 such miracles. Names are - Opera Mini 5.1 and UCWeb 7.4.5

both are java browsers....what we need is a good native browser with all the essential features.
Can we not have a port of Mozilla's fennec browser??

Exactly!
Opera mini has no multitouch and no flash support. I've tried UCWeb but it was not what i expected

I think the only devs who have the skills and the possibilities to port fennec are the devs of Mozilla. As far as I know there are only two OS that can use Mozillas's Fennec browser at the moment. Android and Maemo/Meego.
We have a new browser called Columbus! Not much of a great browser but still the number of apps are growing lets hope there will be an evolution

Does anyone know if the browser in Honeycomb support chrome web apps?
That would just make this...awesome..
EDIT - I know it's a little off topic, but tomorrow will be my first tablet/honeycomb experience and I wondered if it'd be awesome or very awesome hah.

Good question. I doubt it, though this would be good. I think it would be confusing though having market apps and chrome apps.

Like was already said, not till we have ICS. To add to that though, even if it is possible to make it run on Honeycomb, it would probably run crappy. Chrome for Android relies on the hardware acceleration in ICS for page rendering, without that, page rendering will probably be horribly slow.
