Does anyone know if the browser in Honeycomb support chrome web apps?
That would just make this...awesome..
EDIT - I know it's a little off topic, but tomorrow will be my first tablet/honeycomb experience and I wondered if it'd be awesome or very awesome hah.

Good question. I doubt it, though this would be good. I think it would be confusing though having market apps and chrome apps.

Well, it's probably not exactly what you're looking for, but it still lets you search a lot of explicit sites. WVD Just make sure that you have TCPMP or HTC Streaming Media installed to view the streams.
Tought this was a joke. Skyfire let's you view spankwire plus any thing that you fancy. Even on Tmobile's edge network its smooth and even allows full screen.
How to make skyfire to download movies?

Where is the 'Like' button and why on earth can you only see the original status posted by a friend and not any comments made about that status???
I Commented on a friends status only to find out (logged on from my PC) that 4 other people had already commented and so my comment made no sense! lol

Yeah I must say coming from the iPhone the facebook app on win mob is terrible! Ok I know its pretty sad saying that but tbh before having my iPhone I didn't use facebook much but because the facebook app on the iPhone was such a pleasure to use I really got in to it... I'm having to use facebook on opera now.
Dump the FB app, it's utterly useless.
Use http://touch.facebook.com instead. Better, faster, and works awesome in Opera.
Thats what I have been using shame there isnt a facebook app that works though..

I'm not hugely into FB but it would of been nice to at least be able to use it as it's a preinstalled app!!
Considering the guy who developed the iphone version of facebook app fell out with apple due to its ridiculous app store approval process, they should get him to make a WM version!

Been using the touch.facebook.com for a few days now and you guys are right so much better then the app for WM... but just wondering if anyone else is having an issue with it being slow to update news feeds? Seems to be way behind at times!
ive had that problemw ith the touch site, but the main diffeerence for me between the iPhone app, is the lack of facebook chat, thats a nice feature!
Thanks for the heads-up regarding touch.facebook - didn't know about that! The winmo facebook ap is not very fully featured at all, which is a shame, because it wouldn't be a difficult application to write. That said, browsing being as good as it is on the HD2, i usually just visit the full facebook site. With pinch zooming i find it a breeze to navigate. Touch is probably a more sensible option though i guess. Just replaced my facebook ap quicklink with the facebook touch bookmark

Yeah, at the bottom is a link to "Mobile Site" which is m.facebook.com I think - that has the news feed issue fixed, but isn't as finger-friendly (it's not bad tho).
Neither of them allow you to view or tag photos very well IMO, a decent FB WinMo app would be very welcome.

Here is score and a few things it did not do so well on. Looks like its good for basic browsing.

Its kinda a taste to what I think android will become. The same Dev has a few other floating. Apps. Like a calculator.
definitely cool enough to drop a buck and a half on. I played with it for a few minutes and then moved on but when the time comes and I need a couple browsers at the ready Ive got an app for that!
If any developers are interested in how he's doing it, he's registering the app as a service and drawing to the notification layer which also allows you to intercept (and act upon) touch events.
Not saying this app is doing it, but beware of apps that request those permissions, they could in theory log every touch on your screen.
Chrome Beta does much better

Chrome beta scores 350 approx already... guess they might add such feature in the future
That is pretty slick. They have a calculator that does the same thing too. True multitasking here we come!

had this since i read about it on...... where was it, phandroid or android central, one of the two.
definetly worth the money. don't use it that much but its really nice when i do.
tip: leave browser defaults unchecked, so your tab prompts you to choose a browser and you can choose overskreen. its like window's "open link in new window"

as you know everything will be better and run better with a more efficient use of hardware resources, a thing that android could not do anyway
but with FxOS maybe it will be done nicely, and after that FxOS has some cool iOS-like features :laugh:
