Posted on the order and shipping thread but don't see an answer...
So with the UPS 2nd day shipping of Nexus 4, do I need to sign the delivery or will they just leave it at my door? Hope it's the latter...
thanks!
Probably signiture, if TNT (UK) leave it outside my door, even though I wont be in and will have to go to the DEPO, at least I will get it. People arent very nice and happily take untouched boxes outside houses where I am
In the US with UPS, Google usually requires a signature higher price items.
I am in US. :/
so, let say they leave a note on Friday (if I am lucky), will I be able to pick it up from them on Sat?
When you receive tracking it will usually mention somewhere on the page if signature is required.
I recently ordered a 16GB Nexus 7 last week, and I wasn't required any signature. The UPS guy left it at my front door. But I live in an apartment, and he has the keys to the main door, so your mileage may vary.
I live in an apartment, and all packages go to te office downstairs. Does that mean that they sign it for me? :S

You really should sign up for UPS My Choice; it's free. I do a lot of online shopping and get a lot of stuff from UPS, so UPSMC is indispensible. It e-mails me when packages are incoming and when they are delivered, and I can see if a package is signature-required, and if so, waive that signature online.
Before UPSMC, I used to leave a note on my door (with my signature) saying that it's okay to leave it at my door. The driver will take the note with him as proof that I had signed for the package.

Yes, apartment offices can do that for their tenants. I've had that happen a couple of times.
Wouldn't you want it for extra security?
I have no issues with it. They asked for too much shipping in my country and I want them to ask me for a DNA sample if they want as extra security.

Um... I am rather optimistic about the security around the neighborhood, maybe too optimistic. I probably couldn't wait at home, and it would be a hassle to have to go to them to pick it up...
I'm just going to have it delivered to the nearest UPS office instead of my apartment. As soon as you get a tracking number you should be able to route the delivery to a UPS store.

Yea, it's a risk, but the level of that risk depends on where you live. I've never had an issue where I live, and I've even seen a neighbor get a package when he was out of town--it sat unmolested at his door for a couple of days. But, of course, not all places are as safe...
UPS 2-day usually doesn't require a signature in my experience, but we'll see...
can someone else sign it for me if im not available? someone i trust, obviously, like my parents or guardian?

Anyone can sign for you. I think they technically need to be 18 but they never ask for proof.

It's not the service level that determines the need for a signature. It's the shipper (i.e., Google) who specifies if a signature is requires or not.

Yes, anyone. The person signing for it is taking legal responsibility and liability. Could be anyone: family, friends, neighbors, building manager of an apartment.
signature is not required, as always the driver makes a judgement call on whether to leave packages at doors, simple as that and nobody can answer for you

My Dad came to visit me and asked me to upgrade his old Galaxy S. I didn't check the phone out thoroughly and it has an old bootloader. So when I flashed Cryogen I got the crazy screen problem. I thought, no problem, I'll just flash the gingerbread bootloader. Well I can't get into download mode. The phone is an AT&T Galaxy S and they seem to have disabled all the button combos. I've tried everything, so I need a jig.
The postal system/mail here sucks, as you know, so I want to buy it without having to use them (or EMS which sucks worse), which means locally. I can get it DHL shipped to me from the US next month, but I would really like to get this going ASAP. I checked Sulit but one seller that claims to sell it is a total no show and the other has no stock and is really not interested in being a vendor at all. Ebay.ph is the same, there is one seller who might be in the Philippines but they are not replying. No listings at Tipid.
So anyone know where I could use a Jig in Metro Manila? If anyone has one and is willing to sell or rent it to me, PM me. I'll pay more than market price. However, unless you have a store or a permanent way to get a hold of you after the sale, I will wish to use Paypal, Google wallet or something like that.
Also, I've been looking for the resistors to make a Jig, but I cannot find them. If anyone knows who sells them in Manila, please let me know?
Thanks!

Hi kababayan! have you checked my thread [REF] BORROW A USB JIG NEAR YOU *updated?
I bought mine from this ad
hope this helps!
Salamat! That seller is the one who doesn't seem very interested in selling anymore. He has no stock and originally said this week but this week he said he is too busy and won't be making more.
Thanks for that thread, you are in Cebu? Is there anyway I could pay you to borrow yours? I could pay rental fee and Air21 or something like that to get it to me and then send it back to you in 1 day (probably turn around will be 2-3 days to Cebu via air21). You are active enough here that I can trust you and can do a bank deposit if you don't have paypal. If its anywhere within the realm of possibility, send me a PM and I will work out the details with you. I'll be heading for bed now but I will check back tomorrow.
Thanks!

Interesting and possible they got some of the Ones released in Germany (Their physical address on the site says "Warsaw, Poland"). I'd have to check on them before I bought anything since I've never heard of them.
Just found this on a quick Google search for them: http://www.scamadviser.com/is-idigitalshop.com-safe.html
Not sure if they're good or bad, but they are very new apparently.

Really don't think its true since they claim to have a "Red HTC One" in stock.. someone call contact them and find out
i made a contact yesterday, thay told me so.. i was wondering if someone has already bought something from them

I'm from Warsaw and they use false postal code... I've asked them a question, now waiting for answer, but I'd be very careful.
Sounds too good to be true
Apparently they have a mobile number in the contact us page which is always off lol
Actually it's not a mobile, but it still sounds too suspicious for me.
Come on, guys: it's a SCAM!
They pretend to have in stock the Red one and to sell all versions a a ridicolous price!!! :silly:

It's not normal, but I really doubt that they would bill you and not send you a phone. You're not buying from some ebay seller, its Motorola. As for them calling you back, forget about it. They won't. You have to call them again and again and again and again and again (get the point? lol). Their support is the worst I've ever seen.

Comment your problem here He will definitely refer you to the person incharge
If the order was not fully processed by Moto, they may have still authorized your credit card for the purchase amount, but never actually billed it. This can cause charges to show up as pending for a number of days, but there is a limit on how long they stay pending (waiting on confirmation of the final price (think like when you add a tip to a check at a restaurant)) before they are removed.
If Moto didn't process the order for whatever reason, the charge may expire and you won't lose any money. Just my thoughts.

yeah thats what someone told me in support live chat, i can wait or give then a call.
HTC has a program called Champions for employees of carrier retail stores. They are offering them a M9 at $299 off contract. Furthermore if they buy a M9 from the discount program they can trade it in for the next One at no extra charge with their "One for Life" program. I posted the screen shot from the email on my G+ page: https://plus.google.com/+PatrickHill/posts/Mr462GhpLbw
So if you work in a carrier store go sign up for Champions and get your M9 for only $299
is this us only?
My store wasn't listed, but it's a small mom and pop shop that IS an authorized T-Mo dealer. Hope I'm able to be considered and that it isn't closed to only those who work at the retail stores.
I wish I was working at a carrier retail store. Ugh maybe next time... Wondering if a friend who works there can do the favor for none workers?
These deals are generally restricted to corporate retail stores by the phone manufacturers as they do actually verify that you're eligible before allowing you to make the purchase. Could be different for this deal but I'm assuming it's not.
I am a member of HTC champions. there is a strict verification policy to ensure that you are a corporate retailer employee. The community is meant to help dealers learn about HTC and interact with other corporate employees.
Is it a U.S. only offering?

Did you use your work email if you have one? Just wanted to make sure cuz I just used my personal email to sign up but I dont know if they use the corporate email to verify or anything (I have one if they need it). And would you mind saying how long it took for you to get verified?
I went to the Montclair, New Jersey HTC event on 4-9 to pick up mine.
I should really get a part time job at a store so I can get these kind of perks. I sell enough phones usually just by talking to people about phones and helping them decide then some of these sales reps I usually school any of the young sales reps that try to help me when I'm in a store.. I actually cut into one guy's sale at AT&T because he was telling this customer sh** that just was false and set him straight real fast.. haha
Are we sure this is US only? I really hope not. I'm Canadian and my store was listed when I signed up... It even allows Canadian addresses (listing provinces and allowing postal codes, etc). I'd be deeply disappointed if we're left out of this. Does anyone know?

Sorry for the long response time.
I pretty sure that you have to set it up through your work email. You just find your store in the list and I think you also get verified with your work email.
I'm not too sure how long it took to verify but on the discount page it mentioned that if you recently created an account, it could take up to 2-3 days to process if you just started as it's a different website that you buy from and separate from HTC Champions.
I set up HTC champions well over a year ago and kind of fuzzy on the exact details but use your work email for everything HTC and you will be fine.
Edit: Found this on the promo page
Please allow for up to 48 hours if you are newly registered to Champions.

Judging by the content of your post history and your impatience I would bet you're someone who doesn't work at a carrier store, who got into Champions, got an order in and are now waiting to see if they will actually ship it or if you will get busted and it be cancelled... If that's not the case I apologize but if that is the case (which I would think someone who worked at a carrier store would be more knowledgeable than the content and questions you've asked in your posts.. for example.. asking if the GS5's all had yellow screens or if it was just yours.. if you had worked in a carrier store you could have compared it to many others in stock or that you sold) then I hope you do get busted and the order doesn't ship. I didn't post this for people to take advantage.. I posted it for legit carrier employees who might not even know about the program... Again.. If I'm wrong I apologize.

Bad day at work? Or you had a case of the Mondays? What ever it maybe and judging for your post and tone it looks like you're taking out your frustion on me. If you have a problem with I said you should PM me instead of trying to publicly humiliating me on XDA.
Now the reason why I ask is because I know someone who works at a ATT and was able to convice him to order one for me since he is part of HTC champion. Since you made this thread for people who work in retail carrier stores, I figured I would ask
for example.. asking if the GS5's all had yellow screens or if it was just yours..
