Sorry if this is a silly question but I can't find the answer in the threads.
What is the Nexus 10 warranty in the USA? Does it need to be purchased from the google play stay, or are other retailers okay?
Thanks!
Same Samsung 1 year warranty on tablet and battery should apply:

Hi,
Is it true there is no two year global warranty if I buy galaxy note outside UK (or Europe) now ???
Because I ordered note from negrielectronics and it was shipped from Hong Kong.
If it it true, I would sell and receive the other one which I ordered through UK website.
Thanks in advance.

In order to qualify for Samsung's global warranty two conditions must be met:
1) The device is purchased in its country of intended sale.
2) The device is purchased from an authorized Samsung retailer/reseller.
Should it need service, you'll have to ship it back to the UK. Once it's received, Samsung will ask for a receipt showing the purchase in the currency of the country of intended sale and/or a credit card receipt. They also know which serial numbers were dispatched to which resellers. They frown on grey market sales and are very strict about warranty claims on international devices. There are cases in the SGS2 forum where warranty service was denied because both 1 and 2 above weren't met. Many resellers claim the warranty is in effect but, unless both conditions above are met, it's simply not true. I did a lot of research on this before I bought my ISGS2 in May and it's the reason I just bought a 3G G-Tab from the UK.
does this cover anything more than dead on arrival kind of hardware problems?

It covers all manufacturers defects for two years. No matter where you buy it, a reputable seller should/would make good on DOA issues.
Looking to buy a Xoom, and this website has new ones for cheap: http://www.sale-point-online.com/pr...o=p14010_motorola-xoom-wifi--32gb-tablet.html
Website seems legit, but it is in Thailand. If I bought one of these and needed warranty repair, would Motorola honor it?
ive seen that site before. Id call them and ask what version it is and also your warranty question as well.
hi
anyone know the warranty policy
Do nexus 7 have Global Warranty or US warranty only?
Do the warranty card mention this?
Questions go in the Q&A section
any developer get nexus 7
the warranty card mention global or us?
I'm not sure for currently non-available countries, but Google should at least honour any warranties to countries that it is sold to on Google Play.
And What about the warranty @ asus?
I bought it via ebuyer and shipped it to Germany?!
Hi, i have got a question for those from the USA.
After a few days, my friend is travelling to USA and I want after him to buy me Nexus 4. How does it work? He have to order the phone via the internet and deliver it to some mailing address? Or is it possible to withdraw phone personally?
thanks a lot for the information
Wrong subforum and forum!
Does the Nexus 10 come with worldwide warranty? If so I guess I'll buy it from USA or England as fast as possible instead of waiting for the stores in Norway to get it for a high price.
Bump

Let's try just one more time?

As far as I know, they don't come with a worldwide warranty. They either have a US warranty or EU warranty (depending from where you order of course).
No, they actually have no worldwide warranty.
I googled about this question already, because I live in Russia, and all i got was a denial, so no, they have not, that's sad.
Then I guess I'll just order it from a Norwegian store, thanks!

if you buy it in france you will get warranty for sure because inside the EU they need to give you 2 year warranty on your goods
