Thank you!! !!
This score looked interesting..
BTW, if compare with GingerDX, which one is better? in terms of performance, features, smoothness, 3D and 2D gaming, performance running app, and wake up speed, dialer launch speed
Looks good and feels good. I've put Go Launcher with Ice Cream Sandwich theme and it's nice. Noticed a few things though, there was lag before a separate reboot was performed. Now it's smooth. There is no SMS sound, but that's already well known. Can't use Timescape, doesn't want to download Facebook updates. When I slide down the notification bar I've managed to bring it up just once so far, otherwise I have to use the back button. This might be due to the transparent bar in the ROM and the use of another one in Go Launcher... I don't know.
Battery is literary drowning in this moment! Wasn't like this after the clean install... have to figure which app is causing it :?

I'll give it a try for a few days, as it was released so soon it might be my wrong observation. There is this Big Caller ID app that caused some trouble on previous version, I've installed it again now and it's my main suspect We'll see...
One more thing guys, have you tried the GPS so far? Use GPS Sats is unticked and I started Google Maps but after closing it the GPS symbol stayed in the notification bar. No matter if I press the icon or depress it... Reboot got it off.

NOT SOLVED: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31425852&postcount=28
I've added the 'not solved' link because for one person, this bug was solved by a completely different approach.
Anyone with high (e.g. above 10%) Android OS stats can help solve this bug by adding some data here:
http://goo.gl/fyOrQ EDIT: SOLVED, so locked, no new data can be added
Enter
-Your Device
-Your ROM
-Whether you get the OS drain or not (it might be nice to have a few negatives, but mostly I'm interested in positives)
-List the apps you've installed (go to Manage Apps > Downloaded)
If a few people can do this, it be easy to work out the cause.

Thanks to all the people who replied.
For the people with the OS drain, these apps are in common:
Youtube 3/4
Whatsapp 3/4
Titanium Backup 3/4
Maps 3/4
Google Search 3/4
For the people with no problem:
YouTube 1/5
WhatsApp 2/5
Titanium Backup 5/5
Maps 1/5
So, although it's a small sample, the most likely candidate for causing this bug is Google Search. My guess is that the search app incorporates the new Google Now thing, and is a hungry app, but is listed as an OS stat, because it is a Google product.
I have Google Now disabled and I don't suffer from this high Android OS issue, so this may or may not support these findings. However, battery life in JB for me is really quite short. Not sure if it's the modifications by project butter or something else but I learned to live with it, since the update is awesome. Can't get something for nothing, I guess. Life is all about tradeoffs.
I suppose people with the app can disable it like apatal, see if this is sufficient to clear the bug

I'm not sure that any of those apps can be blamed. Sure, 3/4 of the reported users have them installed but they are all apps that most power users would have (except whats app never heard of that) I have all of those apps and have never experienced SEVERE battery drain.
I usually have no androidos battery drain, but yesterday my phone has gone crazy with 60% of androidos usage. I usually run air kernel and this happened to me just once, do you want my infos too?

It's not a severe battery drain problem, just a little higher. The main issue was determining the source of the high Android OS drain to make sure it wasn't a kernel issue.
Thanks again to everyone who helped narrow this down!

Hi,
heard that the official app doesn't work that well, so curious to hear if there are any alternatives out there that work properly.
Facobook Touch is working really good in WP7.8. 0.99€ on marketplace.
Generally speaking alternative Facebook-Apps regularly have problems because people's privacy settings affect what data is available to them unlike the official App which is treated the same as the Homepage.
Facebook touch is just a wrapper for http://touch.facebook.com , as far as I know

The official app on WP7 doesn't work well.
The official app on WP8 looks similar, but works much better. Its much faster, more stable, and definitely provides a wide variety of features (not all features), and reliable push notifications.
Why the hell Microsoft develop the Facebook app? Facebook develop Android's and iOS. Why not WP? Microsoft is doing an awful job with this app.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned it on this forum yet, but it has to be one of the best apps I've downloaded. I had major battery life issues the first weekend I got my Nexus 5, then I installed Greenify and was really shocked by the results. I'm currently at 43% going on 13 hours, and I've had better! Highly recommend you all to try it out

It's because there is a dedicated Android apps section - and it's mentioned there. We don't really need a "Greenify" thread in every device forum.
This section is only really for apps specifically for the Nexus 5. Stock apps, modified apps and themes for N5 users.

Greenify or BatteryGuru(xiam) ?
I've been installing so many Roms to try to remove the scroll lag from facebook, I've turned off scrolling cache, overclocked cpu/gpu the only way i managed to reduce the lag on facebook was to set my governor to 'performance'
So i've finally found a better solution, i've found the archive of facebook apps from the facebook developer site https://developers.facebook.com/docs/android/downloads
Or a direct download to V10 https://developers.facebook.com/resources/Facebook-10.zip
The archive goes back to version 10 and it goes further if you are able to build the app yourself through SDK. I've found V10 is MUCH smoother than the latest version, more than likely because it is a 'lite' version compared to the new version. It doesn't have the in built video player or web browser and probably some other features i'm not aware of yet as i've not used it much yet but thought i'd share in case anyone else is stressing about facebook lag
Please note I did find you need to disable 'Chat Heads' from the messenger app otherwise you will get a glitch. Also there is still some small lag issues but it is massively reduced.
Hit a thanks if you found this useful please
Group of good developers should get together and modify Facebook application. Not only that app needs lots of optimizations but it's design is not quite good. There are a lot of concepts of material designed Facebook app which looks amazing.
Never had never will
Sent from my Nexus 5
I've found that if you use per app profiles and set the governor to 'performance' and set the clock speed to around 1500mhz you get no scrolling lag. I use franco kernel now as i've found it to be fast and the cpu temps are a lot lower than my last kernel.
I use m.facebook.com and the CM Browser. I set CM for full-screen mode and pin the Facebook bookmark to the home screen. It's just like the Facebook app but without the lag or the battery drain. Pretty much perfect.

Yeah I tried that but couldn't find a browser I was happy with that had fullscreen. You should try V13 in the link its the last version that doesn't lag. V16 the next release after V13 has big lag issues. I prefer using the app because of notifications ect..

Uninstall Facebook and WhatsApp ( both Apps are Spyware to me ). I use Facebook inside of Firefox Beta and never had any trouble. There is one downside, you can be socially more active since you´re not online all the time and you also get a way better battery life
